[Vol. 5] Chapter 130
The dead bodies of the imposters were cleaned as well as they took care of the captured people.
The area around the lake was already cleaned and now that the threat was subsided, Arashi told the families to come and join us in this wonderful occasion in the Sun Temple.
Our carriage arrived there as I was munching on food all the way to the temple.
Koji said from behind the curtain of the carriage, "Prince Rian, Princess Bianka, we have arrived at the Temple."
I left the plate as I had already finished with my meals and I was full. We were accompanied by Koji and his group who were waiting outside of the carriage.
As we came outside, I was mesmerized by the beauty of the massive temple which stood surrounded by the lake from all sides.
For a while, I only gaped at the whole scenario from my eyes as I had never thought Shinkyo was this beautiful.
The temple was made with large rocks and the carvings on it were just so beautiful that I couldn't look away. And at the top of the temple, on its pointy head there was a giant rock carved as the sun.
It felt like it would fall down on our heads once a gush of wind appears but it wasn't even moving.
And the lake around it was so bigger than the previous one that wherever my eyes could reach, I only saw lotuses in different colours, floating on the water.
Bees, butterflies, and various insects were flying around the vicinity making it a beautiful canvas of all the colours. I looked around and I saw the birds singing, chattering in their sweet ringing voice, making everything around us so peaceful that my heart felt the warmth of it.
I said, "It—it's so beautiful..."
"I know..." He said as we looked at each other and I was so glad that I came to see his city.
He said, "My mother loved this place so she asked my dad to bring her all kinds of lotuses for the lake."
I gasped, "So, the lake has every kinds of it?"
He nodded. "Most of the kinds since it is not easy to collect them and my father would get frustrated by her demands..."
He chuckled at the thought as I smiled at him. I could see he got brightened just by coming here. He must be missing his mother...
He asked as he stretched his palm toward me, "Shall we go?"
I nodded as I gave him my hand and we started to take the stone bridge that connected the temple with the ground.
The bridge had a few steps to reach it and as we took the steps, I found that we were going upward.
But it looked like it was at the same level as the ground.
And as we got near, I saw the giant temple was really built so bigger that I could see the people were like ants before it.
I said almost breathlessly, "It feels like the temple is floating!"
He said, "The temple is actually floating."
My head snapped at his way as I asked, "What!"
He shrugged as Koji said, "Yes, we even went down for the maintenance and we saw it is actually floating on the lake."
I asked, "Then the lake is very deep!"
Arashi nodded, "It is."
I was mesmerized by the temple as I couldn't help but looking at it. I was feeling a different kind of feel as we took the stairs. It felt like the temple was alive and watching and it reminded me of the incidents of the Wansai Temple.
As we went near, the people looked at us and all of them immediately bowed before us. I felt weird as they greeted us. "Welcome back! Prince Rian and Princess Bianka!"
Arashi gave them a gentle smile and said, "Please, raise your heads. We are at the temple and here we are all the same."
They raised their heads and smiled warmly at him. They all looked so happy to see him and slowly their eyes fell on me.
And I heard them whispering whenever their eyes fell on me. I was a bit uneasy as I thought maybe they didn't like me as their favourite Prince's wife.
But a few people came by and asked, "Prince Rian! Your wife is certainly very beautiful just like we saw her in the picture!"
He smiled and nodded as I looked at him weirdly.
As they went away after a small chat, I asked, "What picture?"
He said, "Well, they wanted to see you so Hiroshi and Koji made a portrait of you and gave everyone so they could see you."
I got flustered as I had no idea my portrait got distributed among them.
As we were about to move ahead, immediately, a bunch of kids came running toward Arashi.
"Prince! Prince! Look, look! What I found!"
"Prince Rian! I beat Gotou in a fight!"
"No, he didn't! I won it but he cheated!"
"Look my mother made me a doll!"
"I wore a new dress! Prince Rian!"
And it felt like every children just came to him to tell all of their stories and each of them eager to tell him first.
Arashi laughed at them as he patted on their heads and said, "Alright! Alright! I will come back someday to hear everything from you all."
They pouted adorably and managed to melt me in a second. How was Arashi even standing here? I felt my knees have weakened already by their cuteness.
Koji said with his deep voice, "Hora! Go back now. Don't disturb Prince Rian and Princess Bianka! They need to go see the marriage."
They all looked at me and asked with even larger smiles and adorable sparkling eyes, "Is that Prince Rian's wife! Princess Bianka? She is so pretty!"
And the crowd that had surrounded him suddenly moved toward me as they started to tell me their complaints about their prince.
"He doesn't come often!"
"Yes! He even doesn't stay!"
And so on...
I laughed at them and said to Arashi taking their sides, "That's so rude, Prince Rian...not to come here often."
He smiled and said, "Alright! I promise to come here often."
And they became happy.
Their parents called them and shouted them for troubling Arashi and me but we told them that it was okay.
I looked at Arashi and said, "I didn't know you were so fond of children."
He smiled as he looked at the children who went to their mothers and fathers. He said, "I love to spend my time with them because their hearts are pure and they don't even care about the world."
I nodded and looked at them and thought, would he be playing with our child like this?
Somehow it made my stomach flutter as my cheeks got colour.
I couldn't wait for the child to come to us...
And my hands moved on my belly unconsciously as he looked at my way. He must have read my thoughts on my face as he bent over and whispered in my ears, "Oh! I will play with our child all day."
And I looked away in shyness, my heart pumping all the blood to my head as I got flustered.
He added with a playful smirk, "I may pamper him too much and may give you very little time. I hope you wouldn't be jealous about it."
I couldn't even turn my head as I wanted to run away from him and hide. I said, somehow my voice stuttered, "I—I won't be j—jealous because I will be playing with him and giving all of my time to him."
"Ho~ what about me then?" He asked with a teasing voice.
I said, "No time for you!"
"I'm hurt." He said smiling but I still couldn't look at his way.
"Look, mother! Prince Rian is flirting with Princess Bianka!" A child suddenly shouted that as we both froze.
Now I certainly wanted to hide!
Because everyone around us heard him and while some them laughed, a few of them gave us a nervous chuckle. And the rest just gave us a wink.
We heard Hiroshi laughing from our behind as he added, "Your Prince Rian always flirts with the princess. Shamelessly, if I may add."
Arashi glared at him as he added, "And he doesn't even care about other's feelings! Especially the feelings of bachelor men!"
Koji said, "If you are that hurt then why don't you just go find someone for yourself, you idiot!"
Hiroshi looked at him and asked, "After so many work! When do I ever have time to get to meet anyone, huh?"
He let out a depressing sigh and said, "Your favourite prince Rian makes me work like a slave. All day! All night! And I don't even have time to meet a beautiful woman..."
Arashi gave him a face and said, "You are the one who takes extra work...you workaholic bachelor!"
He disregarded it and made a crying face as he said, "Koji, my brother, let us cry a river for we both are the founder of bachelor men who are getting old and still single organization."
Koji showed of his right hand and his ring finger where a ring glinted on it. He said, "I have left that group already."
Now, Hiroshi paled as he was the same age as Koji yet he was married.
He made a depressing face and sat on a corner, playing with a stick.
I chuckled at them and Arashi let out a frustrated sigh. He asked Hiroshi, "Where are Hana and Kairo?"
He said making a face, "They are coming."
He nodded and said to the crowd, "Alright. Now let us witness a wonderful moment where two people would start a new life together."
The crowd immediately formed in lines and stood both sides making a narrow lane for the couple to arrive.
