Arthur had had about enough at this point.

It had been a full week since Merlins' nightmare episode and Gwaine hadn't let up on the, what everyone knew to be, protectiveness. The other Knights, Leon, Percival, Elyan, Kay, all of the Knights of the round table and a majority of the Camelot subjects liked Merlin, felt a protectiveness over the servant boy in certain situations but from what the others had gathered, Gwaine was protective over Merlin all the time these days. Spending almost all of his free time with the lad, constantly asking Merlin if he was alright and to everyone's shock, Merlin didn't seem to surprised by it. He wasn't shocked by the protective gaze that followed him around the clock and on a basis, he didn't seem uncomfortable because of it. If he noticed Gwaines' protective look, he would smiling knowingly and go back to whatever it was he was doing beforehand.

Arthur and the Knights were very curious and a little concerned, never seeing Gwaine so vigilant and so often sober. The men had noticed another thing about Gwaine, he was much more sober, much more often. Whenever going to the tavern, he often dragged Merlin along, just to keep an eye on him.

At current, Merlin was talking to Sir Kay and Sir Leon while Percival, Lancelot, Arthur, Gwaine, Elyan and a few others watched on, Gwaine becoming more and more edgy as he watched. Suddenly, a squire rushed onto the field, immediately rushing to Arthur before dropping into a low bow.
"Sire, several Knights of Maybreak request an audience with you and the Knights. They wait in the throne room." At the name of the kingdom Maybreak, Gwaine visibly tensed before rushing over and resting a hand on the small Merlins back, saying something to him on a hushed tone. Merlin pulled back from Gwaine slightly then, looking at him oddly before turning and looking to the squire. Merlin nodded visibliy and one of Gwaines' hand, which wasn't on the small of the servants back, gripped his sword tightly. Gwaine began hurriedly pulling Merlin away from the practice grounds, towards the castle, much to the men's surprise.

What seemed like hours later, Merlin entered Arthur's chambers, where the king stood next to a window overlooking the courtyard. The king did look up when Merlin entered, the blondes eyes immediately locking on his servant--no. Locking on his friend.

"Everything alright Merlin?" The king asked, hoping to dig out the reason as to why Gwaine had been so overly protecting as of late.
"Fine, Sire. Everything is fine." Arthur looked at Merlin until the servant looked up and he two locked eyes, Arthur searching for something, anything while Merlin looked at him with a rather confused look.

Finally, Arthur gave up and walked over to his dressing cabinet, Merlin following at habit. The servant quickly and efficiently changed Arthur into some causal clothing, a red tunic with brown trousers and the Kings regular boots. Arthur nodded and began to walk to the throne room, Merlin again following on habit.

After some time had passed and the court was situated, the four Maybreak Knights standing at attention. Arthur motioned for the Maybreak Knights to speak, but not before looking over the signs of a true Maybreakian. All men had small dots and specks, varying in size and shades of blue, the dots going from under the chain mail where more dots and specks no doubt lay, all of the dots receding along parts of the knight faces. Two of the four men had specks that spotted around the outside of a single eye, while the other two had specks that danced all the way to their hairline and down. The men whom were dressed in silver chain mail with bright, blue blue cloaks. Near the bottom of the cloaks, was the Maybreak kingdoms seal. A silver dragon in the shift of a prowl, it's wings open and ready for flight. A man, the spokesperson of the Knights apparently, stepped forward and began to speak. This man had specks and dots, all varying in dark blues, that danced around his right eye mainly,

"Thank you for this audience sire. I am Sir Markus, this is Sir Elliot, Sir Kyle and Sir Kyler, we come from the kingdom Maybreak. 6 years ago, the Maybreak council and kingdom was betrayed by a knight of our court, whom had been building alliances in secret, not to help Maybreak but to overthrow it. Our queen and Prince were forced to flee, the king fled soon afterwards as the man that betrayed us, Sir Erikson, had a warrant for his death placed. Our queen moved to a small village not far from here, our King has not been heard from in years and our Prince.." Sir Marcus fell silent for a moment, Arthur was looking at him, head tilted slightly.
"What of your prince?" Sir Marcus swallowed and continued,
"Our prince was moved here, to Camelot. It is my belief that everyone in this court had met our prince unknowingly." Arthur narrowed his eyes slightly, his brow coming together, he noticed in the corner of his eyes, he noticed that Gwaine was smirking slightly, almost knowingly.

Sir Marcus spoke again before Arthur could fully assess why Gwaine was acting so,

"We were also hoping that you, King Arthur, may help in the retaking of our kingdom, of our home." Arthur tilted his head slightly, before nodding.

"I shall discuss it with my court, until then, Merlin!" The Knights of Maybreak turned to Merlin, their eyes widening almost comically. Merlin turned to Arthur,

"Yes sire?" Arthur stood then,
"Take these men to some chambers, until further notice." Merlin nodded,
"Of course sire." He turned to the Knights of Maybreak, "If you'll follow me," the man began to walk from the throne room, the Knights of Maybreak following swiftly.

Once out of the throne room, Merlin silently lead the men to a single chamber, the moment the door to the chambers were closed, the knight turned to Merlin, whom was leaning against a table towards the back of the room. Sir Kyler asked quietly,

"Sire?" A quick glare from the man and Sir Marcus chuckled weakly, before Sir Elliot asked,
"Merlin..?" Said man was smirking, before his eyes glowed a fiery gold and after a moment, a ripple like affect took place and the bright vibrant blue specks and dots that littered all Maybreakian bodies, Merlin's were scattered near his eyes, making his already bright blue eyes shine even brighter. All of the Knights grinned Sir Markus, Sir Elliot, Sir Kyle and Sir Kyler and immediately rushed forward, pulling Merlin into a large and rather harsh hug.

Smiles all around, the men all laughing and grinning, hugging and laughing some more.
All the Knights yelled with joy in their voice,
"Merlin!"
"Elliot, Kyle, Marcus, Kyler! It's so good to see you all! But I must warn you, there are only a few people here in Camelot that know of my heritage and title. One of the knights know of my magic while another knows of my heritage and title. Gaius, the head physician, knows of all. Title, heritage and magic." All of the Knights nodded, silently agreeing to keep their princes identity a secret until further notice.

"Merlin." Merlin looked up from the constricting arms of his knightly friends to see Gwaine standing in the doorway. Granted, the door was closed but that didn't stop the Maybreak Knights from pulling their swords from their sheaths.

Merlin rushed in front of his Knights, in between the Camelot knight and the Maybreak Knights, whom all had their swords out.
"Stop! Stop, this is the Camelotian knight that knows of my identity, my heritage." All of the Maybreak Knights nodded before setting their swords back into their sheaths. Gwaine set his sword in the sheath before he chuckled, bowing overly dramatic before Merlin,

"So, sire," he said, dragging the word out to make emphasis, "let's talk about what the plan is to get you back your kingdom."

Everyone smiled brighter then.
