|Mor's POV|

"You look beautiful" dad tells me as Caroline is helping me with my hair, dad flew her out to England to help me with my first prom. She even went dress shopping.

"Your going" Caroline tells me "to be the most beautiful girl there" she squeezes my shoulders leaning down placing her head on my shoulder "mom would be so happy to see this"

"I wish she were here" tears threaten to spill as we look in the mirror.

"Don't cry" David warns as he comes in his tux, he's Amber's date. Apparently she's his imprint. Care told me that it simply means that, David and Amber could have a sibling, friend or romantic relationship. That it's on Amber's terms "Caroline might kill you"

"No, I won't" Caroline scoffs looking at him then to me "I know the feeling, mom wore this at her prom" she shows us a silver chain with a silver snowflake pendant that has a blue diamond in the middle that has tiny regular diamonds around it "it belonged to our grandmother and her grandmother, a family heirloom" I cover my mouth crying as she puts it on. I'm wearing both this necklace and the eye of Horus.

"Oh great" David mutters crossing his arms

"Don't be a dude" I look at him "it's amazing" standing up, I give my sister a hug. She's going to chaperone the party too.

"I have to go" dad tells me "I need to finish some arrangements before anything else" aka dad is going back to the Volturi and pack all his things up before shipping them to the house mom owned in Forks. The house the twins live in, we're going to be living with them and I'm really excited. They like my dad way more than their dad which their dad hates.

"Love you daddy" I say before hanging up

"Ready?" David asks

Nodding our heads, I smooth out my skirt. I'm wearing a black deep v halter neck with a white skirt. I have black heels on with my hair down in soft curls that go to the side with this one braid in my hair. I have this silver smoky eye with red lipstick. I also have these dangling silver earrings that dad sent.

"Let's rock this prom!" Caroline fist pumps

Laughing, we leave the room to go downstairs where everyone stares at us "Oh" Trudy covers her mouth "you girls look so beautiful" looking around "all so grownup, each of you"

"Let's get going" Amber tells us "show off our fabulousness"

"Mor" Patricia brings me aside "Joy sent me this" she shows me the mirror message to have us meet her in the history classroom.

"Why?" I ask, Patricia and I are no longer enemies. Even I don't know how it happened, one minute we were hating each other and now we are friends. She is even in Sibuna along with Alfie and Jerome but not Nina. She is helping us but she isn't apart of this "guys, I'm going to hide the pieces or make sure their hidden before doing anything since I feel like this is a trap" and by pieces I mean hide the pieces of the Cup of Ankh or Cup of Immortality. We found them all.

"No" Nina shakes her head "we need to trust Joy"

"Patricia?" Looking at her "isn't it suspicious how Joy sends you a message right before what's about to happen?"

"It is" she agrees "okay, get the pieces and hid them" I leave and go into the woods to grab the pieces, when I find them I find Joy.

"Joy?" She looks at me "I'm Morrigan"

"Your" she motions to me "the roommate me and Patricia were getting before all of this"

Nodding my head "It's nice to meet you, I wish it was under better circumstances"

"Likewise" she's confused "why are you out here?"

"Why are you?" I ask "aren't you supposed to be in the history classroom?"

She looks even more confused "What do you mean?"

"Patricia got a tip" I tell her "that you said to meet her earlier than expected" I then go into a vision.

"Red sutekh sand flies" Rufus informs the gang and our history/drama teacher—Jason—as they are in the classroom "very rare, quite vicious and certainly deadly. Now everyone do as I say or I break this glass"

Getting out of my vision, Joy was snapping her fingers "We need to get the pieces, our friends lives are in danger"

"What?" She asks "how do you know?"

"Long story" waving my hand as I go to the spot "if we don't then Rufus is going to kill our friends" we rush over to the pieces and when we find them, I hear multiple heartbeats.

Getting up, I see Victor along with Joy's dad, Mr. Sweetie and Miss Andrews "Don't look so scared baby" Joy's dad says "you're not in trouble. You just need to come with us now"

"Actually" I correct looking at all of them "we are. Rufus Zeno has Red sutekh sand flies and is at the dance right now. He's going to unleash them killing all the students unless we go to him right now"

"What?" Miss Andrews

I call Patricia and she answers "Mor? Are you with Joy?"

"Put Rufus on the phone" I order

After a moment "Ah! If it isn't Morrigan Volturi" we hear Rufus's voice "I assume you have the chosen one and my ankh pieces"

"And?" I ask having the phone on speaker, everyone shocked.

"Bring them and the elixir to me" he demands "or I kill everyone here, meet me in the history classroom"

He hangs up "Well?" Looking around "how would you all explain over a thousand people dying? Hmm? From a rare and deadly species that is only found in Egypt?"

"We can't"

"If" Mr. Sweetie cuts off Victor "we do nothing or not bring the pieces, Rufus will kill them all" it takes about ten minutes before we are in the history classroom where Rufus has the sand flies in an hour glass.

"Ah!" Rufus smiles "perfect!" Amber screams when he grabs her, my brother runs in.

He growls seeing this "Don't" I tell him "he'll kill her before you get to her"

"Let her go" Victor orders as Jason arrived with Caroline who is by my side holding me behind her.

"Lock the door then all of you" Rufus orders "but the chosen one goes to the front desk and assembles the cup" we go over to the side as Joy is by the desk and pulls out the pieces.

"She" I hear Sarah's voice "can't put it together, only you can"

"What's the hold up?" Rufus demands, Amber cries as her face is close to the hourglass.

"She can't assemble it" I say, they look my way "what time were you born?"

"Seven pm" she answers

Rufus groans looking at Victor "she's not the chosen one! The chosen one is born on a specific month, day, and time which associates with the month and day!" He then looks at me "your necklace, it's the same one Sarah wore. How do you have it? Explain in full detail"

"She gave it to me" I say as my sister holds me close "she and I met outside of Anubis House" everyone looks at me "she gave it to me dad who told me about the cup pieces, that only I could find it"

"When were you born?" Victor asks

"June sixth" I answer "six am"

"She's the chosen one" Rufus realizes "put the pieces together, now!" I go over to the desk and look up seeing Sarah.

"Sarah" I breathe

She smiles "Say these words: With the circle of light, I seal the circle of life"

"With" I say as I grab the pieces "the circle of light, I seal the circle of life"

"Why is she chanting?" Jerome asks

"Is she glowing?" Nina asks

"With the circle of light" I place the two side pieces on "I seal the circle of life"

"Mor!" Fabian exclaims "your necklace!"

Looking down, I see my necklace shining. So I put it and Amber screams as the cup is assembled. I feel this rush of power go through me.

When the light goes away, Rufus is next to me "Put the elixir in the cup" I do so and he takes it before drinking it all "finally! Immortality is all mine!" He shoved Amber aside and David goes to her holding her as she cried in his arm.

"No!" Victor exclaims "why? We could have shared it"

"That was your plan" Rufus goes over to him "I never intended it" keeping the cup as he goes over to the door "I always had other ideas, big ideas. I then found out the true meaning of tipping of the scales, it isn't symbolic"

"What do you mean?" Jason asks

"Is anyone feeling poorly?" He asks

"I" Alfie falls out and we go to his side.

"A life for a life" we all look at him "it's actually happening" he leaves then with the cup while I keep the hourglass from breaking when he threw it. Luckily no one was looking.

"Is he gone?" Alfie asks

"He isn't actually drink the elixir" We tell them "We lost the original elixir"
