|Mor's POV|

I wait for dad to call me, I'm five years old now and seem to be growing at the rate of a regular human teenager. So maybe he'll allow me to go to school in England, I was looking around for international boarding schools as to where I could be closer to dad that he could visit me on weekends when I got a vision of the Amun Academic Boarding Institution and this brief image of this Victorian style manor and a golden cup. So I looked up the school and liked it much more then the other schools, plus dad could come visit me once a month on weekends. See the only reason dad and I aren't together, him raising me is because of his coven leaders. I'm new, I'm unknown so I could be killed. If I had it my way I'd be with dad right now but no. Dad told me that he'll do anything to protect me, even if it means ending my life and his to protect us both but me especially. He told me how there isn't anything worth continuing to live for, all my human siblings are gone and dad hasn't found his mate and he's all but given up hope. So hopefully this school idea will be beneficial and dad will say yes.

Once dad calls me, I answer it and wait for it to quickly connect. Seeing dad's face, he's someplace outside leaning against a building it looks like. He's wearing his black cloak "Hi dad"

"Morrigan" he's still a tad bit upset about what happened a few months ago, how I almost died because of Myrtle "if this is about me lifting your grounding"

Shaking my head no "No dad, though I still don't think I did anything wrong. I mean I explained that Myrtle told me that you said okay"

"And you" dad asks "didn't think to call me about this or at the very least text?"

"Maybe I should have"

"You definitely" dad growls "should have"

Pressing my lips together "That's not why I wanted to talk, I was thinking and maybe I should go to school?"

"School?" He asks "cause that worked out so well the last time you asked"

Rolling my eyes "It wasn't my fault!"

"Oh?" He asks sarcastically "so the human just happened to get her hair set on fire outside inside a car?" Last year dad and Myrtle talked about me going to school and when I did go, I met the queen bitch since I committed the mortal sin in asking her boyfriend who I didn't know was her boyfriend for help. So after school I saw her and set her hair on fire while she was inside of her car and the heat causing the windows to shatter and embed itself into her skin. She now needs heart medication since a few of the glass shards went near her heart and nearly killed her. They saved her but now she forever needs heart medication and half of her face was burned. So yeah. Lots of the humans thought she got what she deserved.

"Yes" he shakes his head "now before you say no"

"No" shaking his head

"I have to go to that school!" I yell before he ends the call or changes the topic "look" I pull up the presentation called: Why You Should Let Mor Go To The Amun Academic Boarding Institution? I wasn't sure about the question mark but thought about it and added it. I created this slide show to try to convince dad.

"Why You Should Let Mor Go To The Amun Academic Boarding Institution?" Dad swans the title aloud before giving me a look "your not changing my mind"

"Slide One" I bring up the first slide which is the history of the school "It was originally known as Frobisher Hall built by Julian Frobisher-Smythe"

"Father of Robert Frobisher-Smythe" dad cuts me off "this human and his wife are known for an expedition in Egypt by finding the late Pharaoh Tutankhamen's tomb, the two were accused of stealing several artifacts such as the Cup of Ankh but all allegations were dropped"

"Fine" grumbling "no history lesson" I move onto slide four since slide two and three are more facts about the school "Slide Four:"

"Wait one moment" dad orders, he puts his phone in his pocket as I pull out my flash cards needing to read them since dad is making this much harder than I anticipated "what are you doing out here Demetri?"

"Came to chat" this Demetri says "why are you out here? Miles away from the castle?"

"Enjoying the sun" dad lies

"We're vampires" Demetri reminds him "we can't no longer enjoy the sun"

"Is this about Heidi?" Dad demands

"Do you not want to talk?" Demetri asks "are you doing something more important?"

"Apologies, just not in a good mood" dad says

It's silent before Demetri ask "What's going on with you? You've been acting different especially since last year"

"I haven't"

"You destroyed four members of the lower guard" dad did what? "You were confined to your chambers—we're worried about you, me and the others in the Upper Guard"

"You don't have anything to be worried about" dad says "I'll talk to you later" I wait a few minutes before dad comes back "make this pointless speech quick"

"I'm having visions of this place" I tell dad

Dad frowns "Repeat that? Since when do you have visions?"

"Myrtle didn't tell you?" I ask

Dad demands growling "Tell me what?"

"I get brief visions of the future" dad just stares at me "look, I saw myself going to this school and if your worried about a paper trail I have that covered plus we can use the money from the bank heist or the money you know who left me"

Dad stares at me before thinking this over, I see him begin to pace. This isn't good, when dad is in deep thought it's never good. Once dad stops he concedes "Send me the information, I'll handle things"

"Really?!" I ask excitedly

He nods his head "But the moment you pull something like you did at that other school I'm pulling you out immediately vision or not"

"Deal!" I exclaim

|Felix's POV|

"Who" I find Demetri in my room with his arms crossed "were you talking to?"

I stare at him "Were you following me?"

Closing the door crossing my arms after, I've spent the last five years away from my little girl. I never thought I'd have a child as a vampire, as a human I had nearly a dozen children. So when Natasha ended up pregnant, her witch friend Myrtle confirming that she's pregnant with my child I didn't know how to feel. But the moment Morrigan was in my arms, I couldn't just give her up and I was about to bring her back here but thought about it. She would be destroyed since she's new, there are no records of hybrid children between a human and vampire. Then she has several gifts, powerful ones that would make her go on dangerous missions. I don't want that. Then there is her now having visions of the future? I still want Myrtle dead for nearly getting my daughter killed. In my human life I was very protective over my children, especially my daughters. But now? That protectiveness is heightened and I'll do anything to protect Mor even if it means ending both of our lives so that my daughter is safe and not used as a weapon. Also I have all but given up looking for my mate or thinking she's out there, so if I have to I will end both of our lives.

My laptop which is open dings, the boarding school information that I ordered Mor send me. I don't want her going to school, not after the last school that Myrtle suggested I send her to.

"Why" Demetri asks "did you get a message for some human school?"

"Drop it" I order

"Maybe the mast"

I cut his words off when I run at him grabbing him by his throat, his eyes widen "Forget who I was talking to, forget about the last hour. Am I clear? Forget"

He nods his head, I drop him. Standing up, he looks between me and the laptop before leaving. I need to be more discreet since Demetri is questioning things, I don't need anyone else questioning anything so I need to be more discreet.
