~Over A Month Later~

"So" I ask dad "what do you think happened to Bella? I'm picturing her dead" we get out of the car with mom and Caroline.

"I hope dead" Caroline says but we hear a heartbeat "or not" she pouts. We hear a motorcycle and look over to see Jacob come over, when he gets off he sees us "Oh! If it isn't my baby brother" Caroline pulls Jacob into her arms hugging him swinging him around like a child holding a stuffed animal.

"Your" Jacob complains wheezing out "squ...squish...ing me!"

Caroline sets Jacob down and places her hands on either side of his face squishing his cheeks together making his flips be like a fish's "Oh! Whose a good baby brother, your a good baby brother" Caroline talks to him like he's a baby.

"Care!" Jacob pulls away scowling "I'm not a baby!" He stomps his foot down "I'm a grown man!" He scowls at mom and dad "your still here"

"Don't get your panties in a twist" Caroline orders "we're here to make sure Bella is turned, don't have such a stick up your ass!"

"I do not!" Jacob complains "Where's David?"

"Seattle" I tell him

"Come on" Ramsey motions "let's go, the sooner we see Bella either dead of turned the faster we can leave"

We go up to see Carlisle open the door while Jacob storms in "Ugh!" Caroline groans "such disrespect! Your mom is rolling in her grave Jacob!" Caroline becomes all dramatic "I mean what do you have to say for yourself? It is like a stab in the heart! THE HEART!" She begins to cry while Jacob rolls his eyes.

"Good to see you haven't changed" Jacob growls

Caroline stops looking at him growling "Don't be so disrespectful"

"You can't tell me what to do" he growls

"Before" I get between them "you two fight, where's Bella. Is she dead?"

"Just say it" Jacob begs "give it to me straight"

"Is that Jacob?" We hear Bella

Jacob looks upstairs glaring then to him "She's here?"

"They came home two weeks ago" Carlisle explains looking at us worried then following Jacob. We all do "Jake!" Once we are at the top we see everyone divided. Emmett and Edward by the window away from Bella. Alice and Jasper near the counter away from Bella. Esme and Rosalie by Bella who is sitting up with a blanket covering her belly and she looks hollow. Like the blood has been drained from her or seriously anorexic.

Jacob goes near her but Rosalie stops him "That's close enough"

"What's your problem?" Jacob demands

"I'm glad you came" Bella tells him, we hear her heart beating rapidly "Rose it's okay" Jacob goes to the coffee table crouching down while Rosalie goes to the side.

Jacob sighs happy that she's still human "You look terrible"

Bella offers a smile "it's nice to see you too"

"Are you" he asks "going to tell me what's wrong with you?"

"Rose" she asks "want to help me up?" Alice has a grim face since I guess it means she and Bella aren't close anymore.

She removes the blanket and we see her swollen belly with bruises, Rosalie helps her up as Jacob stumbled backwards "You" he storms at Edward and Emmett stops him "did this!"

"We didn't know it was even possible" Carlisle says

Seems someone didn't use the box of condoms I gave for their wedding anniversary "What is it?" Jacob demands shrugging Emmett's hand off

"We don't know" Carlisle shakes his head as my family and I have a silent look of knowing "ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac"

"I can't see it either" Alice adds "and I can't see Bella's future" Bella gulps since she's been wanting immortality. She fears aging.

"We've been researching legends" Carlisle adds "but there isn't much to go on"

Jacob looks at me "You can see the future can't you? Did you see this happening?"

"Didn't you open the wedding gift I gave you?" I ask them "it was packed with the lingerie Alice packed"

"You knew?!" Edward demands

We nod our heads "We even" Ramsey tells them "had a note saying 'Use protection or else'"

"Why didn't you tell us?" Alice exclaims "Bella's dying!"

"WOO HOO!" Caroline fist pumps before doing a very inappropriate dance singing "Bella's dying! Bella's dying!" Thrusting her hips.

"This isn't funny!" Jacob screams at his sister, Bella beginning to cry.

"On the contrary" Caroline wipes the tears from her eyes "this is god finally answering my prayers!" She dances more having Bella cry more than she already was "Bella's dying! Bella's dying! BELLA'S DYING! Thank you god! I've got to call David and tell him the amazing news!"

Jacob tackled her and the two get into a fight "Stop!" Bella cries "make them stop!"

Dad pulls Caroline off as Emmett grabs Jacob, he goes to attack but I get between them creating a physical shield that Jacob breaks his hand trying to punch through.

"Your just like what's inside Bella" we look at Edward as he stares at me "all those times Felix you said Morrigan is your daughter you actually meant daughter"

"Felix" Carlisle begs "please, if you know how to save Bella"

"Whether or not we came here" dad tells him "doesn't matter, that child will kill the mother"

"So it is a baby" Rosalie smiles

"Yes" dad confirms

"If it's killing her then take it out of her!" Jacob demands "please Carlisle"

"No" Bella protests "this is my choice not any of yours" looking at us "please"

"That child will remember you dying" I tell them, the room is silent "the child will know it's the reason you died. From the moment you go into labor it'll hear you screaming in agony, it'll hear you begging for you to get it out, it'll remember your dying face"

"You remember the day mom died" Caroline asks "didn't you?"

"As if it happened just moments again" I leave the room then, going up to a tree to look out into the woods.

"I know" Ramsey is beside me "I'm not your mother, but I do know what's it like to grow up without a mom"

"I've learned it wasn't completely my fault" I say after some time "that my mom chose to keep me but...I just wish she bothered to have dad turn her. No offense mom, it's just"

"You'd like to have known you weren't the main reason she died" she finishes "that since she was human she didn't have the strength to live after you were born without being turned"
