CDM means Civil Disobedient Movement

It is a peaceful movement against unwanted authority.

Government servants who have joined CDM include but not limited to Doctors, Nurses, Railroad conductors, Teachers, Professors, Musicians and many more!

Without them, government won't be able to survive and that's why #CDM is really important in fighting against military government.

But it's not really easy to join CDM in Myanmar.

CDM participants have to give up their houses, their money and their rights!

When CDM movement first started, soldiers break into CDM participants' houses and kidnap them. They threaten them to continue doing their jobs. Educated doctors and professors being threatened by soldiers, it's very sad. (Since soldiers did not know how to treat ill people or teach in schools lol)

CDM participants had to go hide in other places (e.g. their relatives or friends' houses) They cannot sleep peacefully at night because they are constantly worrying when the soldiers might come for them. They lost their income. They are in risk of losing their jobs.
They are gambling not only their future but also their children's future on this.

That's why we respect them so much. Salute to them again. :)
