Percy dreamed a nightmare free night away with a feeling of accomplishment from the night before when he had confessed his love to Annabeth for all to hear. Little did he know that she still had a few more tricks up her sleeve.
Annabeth walked to the Poseidon cabin with such a happy feeling, thinking, 'so this is what it feels like to be in love'. Her heart sped up a bit as she knocked on the door (although she knew her seaweed brain well enough to know he was still asleep) she entered the nearly empty cabin and walked to his bed.
Percy felt someone shake him gently and thinking it was his mom said "five more minutes" but only when the feminine voice said,
"You drool in your sleep" did he know it was his Wise girl. he smiled at the old memory of the first time they met. He remembered how much they had resented each other, and just look at them now.
He was edged out of his flashback when a happy sounding Annabeth squealed, "Chiron is letting us spend the day in NYC, he said it's something he does for new couples." before he could say anything Annabeth began getting excited again and said,"I can't wait to go to the museums and see Times Square, well get dressed we haven't got a moment to lose."
While in Times Square Percy leaned over to Annabeth and said, "I love you Wise Girl."
"Oh really" said Annabeth, "Then shout it to the city" so Percy bieng Percy found one of those cheesy revlon kiss cam jumbo screens and shouted,
"I LOVE ANNABETH CHASE" and if people stared all they would see was a happy young couple that was deep in love.
