Honestly, I never understood, my country's obsession with fair skin and fairness cream.

So, I am blessed with a dusky complexion, a complexion I have been taunted and teased a lot, cried a lot.

But, today I love my colour. I won't change it for the world.

So, every time I go to buy a face cream, this is what happens with me

Sales person- Mam, you are looking for cream. Look at this cream mam, this is very good cream, lightens your skin tone and make your skin fair.

Me with a big smile- I am not looking for a fairness cream. I am looking for a cream good for my skin.
( And last time I got so irritated, I added) I hate fairness cream. I am anti- fairness cream person.

And then surprisingly, they don't have any think to say or any good cream to show.
