"Spell of physical expansion of the mind?"

Wednesday raises an eyebrow and the professor smiles back at her.

"Or better known as a detection spell. You see there is no magic that can find hidden elements, magic is sentient, but not sentient at the human level and therefore does not know what is hidden or what is not."

"But our minds can!"

Mark smiles at Enid, glad to have an extra student and especially so enthusiastic.

"Exactly, this spell is more complicated than you think, after all, its purpose is to make the mind expand so that it acts as a scanner of the surrounding environment, if your mind knows more or less what to look for, the spell will make everything in the surrounding environment that is touched by the spell and that your mind identifies as hidden appear as if it were a brilliant illumination."

Wednesday smiles, all the time spent studying traps and secret passages will come back much more than he thought.

"Well let's start with the explanation. Mark closes his eyes and focuses on his muscles, his point of control, after all his obsession with fitness and the gym are quite obvious. Both Wednesday and Enid become fascinated, all the veins in the circulatory system begin to glow red, there are a total of 5 points from which the light expands, biceps, abdomen and calves.

"Mind Expansion Spell"

The light that previously pervaded her entire body begins to gather in her head until it explodes into a spherical pulse of red mist. It does not widen more than enough to envelop the two girls.

Enid steps forward; she is aware that Mark has examined them both with his control and is curious about what he has understood.

"Enid..... It has never been seen in history, never even hypothesized that a werewolf could use dark magic. I'm glad to have one more student."

Wednesday opened her mouth wide and Enid with her, both of whom had been reading up on it, after all, as the Hufflepuff Potterhead that she is, Enid had always wanted to learn magic but both Morticia and Grandma Addams had more than made it clear to her that she would never, in the slightest, practice magic.

"As a rule, the wolf curse makes it impossible for the body to convey magic or develop it, in case we are talking about dark magic."

Wednesday looks at her companion, she is fascinated, Enid is even more unique, not that this is necessary for her to love her, but if before the young Addams could be called possessive of the wolf girl, now it can be said that she is ready to unleash the fires of hell for her.

Both girls closed their eyes, of course the hardest part is finding the dark energy, to Wednesday it comes easier as she is already used to sensing elemental energy, to Enid on the other hand it comes complicated, she tries to use her senses, she listens to her own heartbeat, the sound of her blood flowing, then remembers that her magic spot harnesses feelings, so she starts to think about Wednesday, their dates, their hugs, their kisses. She finally begins to feel something, it's like a tingling sensation mixed with a numbing sensation, it flows throughout her body, and as Wednesday takes her time to understand the energy she senses and slowly builds it up in her mind making sure to imprint her purpose in it. Enid acts in a hurry, just thinking about letting the energy flow without thinking about what she is actually doing, then a twinge in her head and the accumulated energy explodes. Professor Silivieri knew this was going to happen, he doesn't want to be mean but he knew Enid wouldn't be able to handle the energy, so when he was sure that both girls were too caught up in sensing the energy, Mark creates barriers around all three, which come in extremely handy when Enid's energy explodes, Wednesday senses it and opens her eyes just in time to see a huge blue-colored pulse expand from Enid, and while some of it bounces off the barriers, the rest overwhelms the cages, the straw inside them crushes against the walls, the bars shake and even the walls vibrate.

Enid staggers but manages to stay on her feet.

"Oh mom, it sounds like....."

Wednesday manages to catch her in his arms before Enid finally loses her balance and falls to the ground. Professor Silivieri laughs it off; it happened to him the first time, too.

"Yes, accumulating energy without giving it a purpose triggers violent outbursts and then you have the symptoms of a severe hangover."

Wednesday electrocutes him.

"Couldn't you have told us earlier?"

Mark is still smiling, the Addams's murderous looks are too funny for him.

"Where would be the fun in that? Come on, Enid will be fine in a few hours, now let's get to work on your spell."
