"Aaliyah! It's time to wake up, my dear."
Aaliyah Bakhash released a groan as she heard the voice of her mother shouting for her, and turned over in her bed so that she was on to stomach, allowing her to place a pillow over the top of her head.
She never liked waking up early, due to the fact that she never slept well, but the girl knew that she had to wake up despite her tiredness.
"Aaliyah! Get up, it's time to pray!"
Aaliyah pulled herself up and out of her bed before she ran to join her mother for the first pray of the day, since they always prayed together.
Habiba Jawahir had always been her mother, even if it was not biological, the woman had always been there for her ever since she was adopted by her when she was eight years old.
She still remembered her birth parents, but she knew that as far as she was concerned, that Habiba was her actual mother.
She had always wondered why her birth parents had given her up when she was eight, but she figured that they must have had their reasons for doing so, so she wasn't in too much of a rush to find them.
She was happy as she was, with Habiba, and she had not been informed about her biological parents trying to search for her, so she figured that she would just let things stay the same until she either felt the urge to find them, or for them to find her.
Until then, it was just her mother Habiba and herself.
And she was completely fine with that.
"Li, do you want some breakfast?"
Her mother questioned her as they finished praying, finding that her mother was running her fingers through her hair.
"No mother, I'm not hungry just yet, but I think that I'm going upstairs to watch the race, is that okay?" Aaliyah smiled gently at her as she made herself a glass of water.
"Of course, my dear. Let me know if your favorite driver wins." Habiba gently pressed a kiss to the side of her face on her temple, before giving her smile that was filled with love.
"Thank you mother, he's starting quite high up for once so I hope that he does." Aaliyah found that her face was becoming hot as her cheeks started to glow pink whilst she blushed at the mere thought of her favorite driver.
Arthur Leclerc.
Arthur Leclerc was her favorite driver in Formula Three, since Aaliyah loved his personality, driving skill and also his looks, because she found him gorgeous.
He was way too old for her however, and she knew that since she had never had the chance and opportunity to go to a race that she would never meet her crush.
But surely a girl could dream, right?

"Did he win?"
Habiba smiled at her daughter as her daughter approached her in the kitchen of their family home.
"No." Aaliyah muttered underneath her breath in sadness, with a frown stitched on to her face. Her arms were folded in front of her chest as she sulked, enciting a small laugh to leave the lips of her mother.
"Did he crash out?"
Habiba questioned the young girl, since she was able to tell that by her daughters behavior that her favorite driver obviously didn't finish his race.
"Yes." Aaliyah huffed, before she jumped up on to the kitchen counter staring down at what her mother was doing. "What'cha doing?"
"Something." Habiba smiled playfully at her daughter, since she did not want the girl to know what she was doing, just yet.
"What is it?"
"Something."
"Are you going to tell me?" Aaliyah grinned as she interrogated her mother, seeing the woman roll her eyes at her.
"No, I don't think I am." The Jawahir woman wiggled her eyebrows teasingly at her daughter, seeing the young girl release a scoff.
"Mean."
"No it's not."
"You're mean."
"No I'm not."
"If you're not mean then you'll tell me what it is that you're doing." Aaliyah gave her mother a smug look, a sickly sweet smile as she began to make herself a glass of water.
"But what if I don't want to?" Habiba chuckled lightly at her young daughter, since she was very aware that the girl was incredibly stubborn.
"Then I'll steal your laptop and find out for myself." Aaliyah giggled as she climbed off the kitchen counter, making her way towards the laptop of her mother.
Habiba grabbed a hold of the laptop as quickly as she could as her daughter launched herself forwards in an attempt to grab the laptop from her grasp.
Aaliyah's fingers missed the laptop by millimetres as her mother was able to move it out of her way just in time, causing her body to slam in to the table that the Jawahir woman was sitting at.
Habiba couldn't hold back her laughter as her daughter missed the laptop and slammed in to the table, with a small grunt of pain leaving the girls lips.
"And what did that teach you?" Habiba chuckled lightly as she closed the laptop, having completed what she was doing on it.
"That I need to have the element of surprise." Aaliyah laughed as she brought one of her hands up to clutch her stomach where she hit the table, turning her head to the side to see the smug look that she was now recieving from her mother.
"Not that you have to wait for things and run head first in to it?"
"No."
"Well then, I might just have to change my mind about taking you to a race of Formula Three, won't I?" Habiba smirked as her daughters face began to fill with realisation.
"Huh?" Aaliyah squinted her eyes at her mother, trying to see if she was being lied to.
"Nope, I'm getting a refund now!" Habiba pretended to open up the laptop to get a refund but found that she was struggling as the Bakhash girl ran forwards to pull it out of her grasp.
"No! No you don't!" Aaliyah shook her head from side to side as she pulled the laptop out of the other woman's hands to hide it behind her back.
Habiba and Aaliyah giggled together as the two of them attempted to get the possession of the electronic laptop, before both of their hands latched on to it, making their eyes meet.
"No refunds." Aaliyah narrowed her eyes at her mother, trying to force her smile to disappear from her face.
"They're non refundable tickets, there is no refunds." Habiba laughed as her daughter placed the laptop down on to the table to barrel in to her.
Aaliyah wrapped her arms around the waist of her mother as she hugged her tightly, not quite being able to believe what she had just been told.
She was going to a race.
