People of all races, colors, creeds
No one noticed
My patriot shoes
Make America great again

There were no riots
No one abused me
I was just another person
Walking to my destination

The fear mongering has to stop
In a blue state like NY
Trump supporters, can and do
Walk the streets without fear

I had a lovely time with a friend
In the best city in the world
Wearing apparel I was proud of
Red, white, and blue
Patriot shoes
Incredibly comfortable
Felt like walking on a cloud

When people turn off the tv
Stop reading fake news
And just live, enjoy their beliefs
Without the need of defense or offense
Arguing, proving a point
One way or the highway
Life is simply...simple

What more can anyone ask for?
