First full diving day
Went in every which direction
Except the right one

Started with a leaky mask
Prevented me from diving a beautiful wreck
I couldn't do anything
But surface

Third and last dive
Was stingray city
Would have been great
Gone smoother
If one medium sized female
Hadn't decided to make me
Her appetizer

To bring things to the ultimate
High seas made everyone seasick
The entire boat went lights out
Next day, my equator sun allergy
Made its grotesque appearance

Already looking like a Dalmatian
To say that thus far
This trip is
Not going the way I wanted
Is an understatement

Further counting on
Aunt Flo is arriving soon
As well as Mercury is in Retrograde
Until August
My balance in many things
Is off kilter

What that means is
Though things have been wacky
I'm still here doing something
I love very much despite
The hiccups

In life, there will always be snafus
But it's how you deal with them
That matters

Is the glass half empty
