Holy moly!
Another one in the bag
A dissertation workshop
2 days of 5 hours nearly straight
Plus homework

Came on the heels of an ending 12th
Out of 20 class
Got an A- for a final grade
But alas, a break!
For a month
Don't have to write papers
Do DQs

Until January 15, 2019!

So tired
The inside of my head
Essentially I have a
Fried brain

Only doctorate students know
What this process is like
Online students
We have our own ways

But all in all
In America, only 3% of the population
Has a doctorate in anything
So us
Fried brain folks
Are few and far between

But I got a lot out of these days
Narrowed my topic down
From what my professor called
The Great Wall of China
To just a panel in said wall

Am able to do an unbiased topic
And yet plug multiple holes
In the literature simultaneously
Because my topic has more holes
Then a sieve

I'm still a while from writing
My dissertation
But at least it's starting to take shape
And these in-residencies
Really help us online folks along

Even if it results
In very fried brains at the end
So glad that I'm done
Phew!
