(Hermes)

I was twirling my pen around in a circle with my fingers as I watched Tony walk into class. His seat was near mine, so he saw me watching him when he came in. He looked confused as he sat down and cleared his throat, “Uh, what? Do I have something on my face?”.

I gave a friendly smile, “No.”.

He started to look a little uncomfortable with my staring and he turned away from me, unzipping his binder and I whispered as silently as a cat the Latin word 'illusion' and when his binder top opened, only me and him saw a snake jump out.

Tony sprung up and cried in horror. Most of the class was already here and they all looked at him like he was crazy. Tony looked down at his binder, his chest going up and down quickly as he breathed hard, looking frighten as if he saw a ghost.

I was trying hard not burst myself out in laughter. I bit my bottom lip and told myself it would seem suspicious if I started just laughing. I'll laugh it all out when I get home.

When I forced myself to act normal, I looked up at him curious, “Alright there, man?”.

He looked up at me and I pictured him as a eight year old chubby brownish-red hair boy, laughing down at me as he pushed me and throw dirt at me after he dumped some in my pants. Oh yeah, I felt no guilt doing that to him and I have no intent on stopping.

“Y-yeah, I just thought...never mind.”, he said, sitting down quickly, looking so confused.

I took this opportunity as he adjusted in his seat to spell a joke on him to make him fart out loud in class. I brought my hand up to my mouth, hiding my breaking grin as I wanted to burst in laughter.

“T-that wasn't me!”, Tony said quickly an when he looked at me, I dropped my smile and hand, giving him a shrugged like I didn't know anything. He looked completely embarrassed and I felt satisfied...for right now.

I continued this pranking on him and his buddies for the rest of the week. I must say, I enjoyed myself completely. To see them humiliated was great and the memories of them humiliating me just gave me the urge to do it again and again. Bugs would appear suddenly in their food, desk, or even on them. A snake here in there in their locker, seat, and a few other creative places.

Ruining their practices and their flirting with girls were a great to. It was fun seeing their lives getting ruined so quickly in one week. No knowing what's going on, the principle called them into her officer and demanding them to stop with their game, saying she knew it was the first week of school, but to cut it off. They tried to tell her it wasn't them, they didn't know what was happening.

I grinned, laughed, and patted myself on the back for a good job. Karma a real mother fucking bitch and I plan to keep doing it for a few more weeks. Making their lives hell is worth being stuck in this town.

Of course, Jaycee was always in the way. She knew it was me—who else would make snakes just suddenly appear? She was smart and tired to talk me out of it, saying it was dangerous and someone could catch me, but I could just do a little spell and make them forgot. It wasn't really that hard.

I did my best to ignore her and I was good at it. She would only catch up to tell me to cut it out and when she would try to bring 'us' up, I would change the subject and leave.

When the weekend came when I thought I would give my magic a break, Lucinda would appear in my dreams and wouldn't leave until I woke up. It was the usual, try to talk me into getting back together with her. I've tried Friday night the block spell and it didn't work. I really hate to admit, but she was write. I'm not that strong yet. It takes more then just saying a spell and it happen. It could work, but for only five minutes. I have to practically wish for it to happen.

I sat at the lunch tables on Monday, trying to get my pizza, but Lucinda annoying laugh ranged into my ears and I threw my pizza down, pissed off. I closed my eyes and spelled the block spell and her laugh was gone, but I knew in ten minutes, she would be back.

The gossip bunch of girls were getting on my nerves now to.

I got up from the table and walked out of the caf, going over to the boys bathroom. Their were only two freshmen boys talking about how to convince this senior to let them get in a party. I leant against the sink and looked at myself in the mirror. It looked like I hadn't slept very good.

I hate Lucinda so much. Why I have to be enchanted with her beauty eight months ago? I'll admit, I fell for her first cause she is beautiful. That's the probable them, she uses her beauty as an advantage to lured poor souls like me in and she eats them out. She was like the Succubus instead of a witch, but it was only the dark in her.

After five months when I realized her possessives, jealous, crazy bitch she was, I broke it off and she wasn't very happy. Ever since, she's been in my dreams when she's 'bored'. I'm just praying someone else comes into her life and she leaves me alone!

I heard the bathroom door opened and slam close, getting my attention as I stood up and saw who came in.

I locked the empty bathroom door and I wasn't going to unlock it until I get what I came in here for. I turned to see a shock Hermes. “What?”, he asked. “This is the boys bathroom, get out.”.

“No.”, I said, giving him a small.

“No?”, he question, seeming shocked. “Jaycee, this is the boys brother, get out!”.

“I know it's the boys bathroom, but it's the only place I could talk to you alone.”, she said.

He stared at me in surprise for a moment before snorted and walked over to me, trying to get to the door. I blocked his way and he glared at me, causing me to grin at him.

He looked mad, “Jaycee, move.”.

I pursed my lips and made a think face, “Hmmmm, no.”.

“Quit playing with me.”, he groaned.

“Oh, like how you should quit playing games with Tony and the others?”, I asked.

He groaned loudly, “Is this what that's all about?”, he asked. “Why do you even care? They made my life horrible as a kid.”.

“We're not kids anymore, Hermes.”, I said. “Time to move on from the past. Which leads me on to us--”

“No.”, he said, stepping back as he continued to glare at me and I hated the look. I just wanted to slap the look at off his gorgeous face. “Don't start with me Jaycee or--”

“Or what?”, I asked challengingly. “Your make me see something or zap me again?”.

“Shh!”, he hissed. “Before someone hears you.”.

I snorted, “I would know if someone was near by and their talking to loud to even hear us. But I would like to make this quicker before someone wants to use the bathroom so you should let me get what I want to say.”.

He continued to glare at me for a moment before he breathed out heavily, “Fine, go.”.

I smiled, pleased, “Come with me after school to the woods. I want to show this spot before summer fully over and it gets cold.”.

He raised an eyebrow, “Why?”.

My smiled grew and I bit my bottom lip, “It's a surprised.”.

“I don't like surprises.”, he said.

“I don't care.”, I said.

He was silent again for a moment, “Fine, now move--”

I blocked his path again, “One more thing.”.

He groaned, “What?”, he asked, clearly annoyed with me.

My face turned a little red, almost quitting myself, but then I thought I had to do this. I'm sure he saw I was nervous though. “Kiss me.”, I said, trying to be confident as I tilt my head up towards him.

He seem clearly surprised at my demand and he burst out laughing a moment later. “Excuse me?”.

My face brighten a little more, but I stayed my ground, “You heard me, kiss me. I've been waiting far to long for my first kiss when I should have had it when I was thirteen like most girls do.”.

He laughed more, “Your first kiss? You never had your first kiss?”.

My neck and face heated up and now I just wish I could take it back. I thought this would be a good idea, but now it just seem stupid. I looked around awkwardly, “So? I saved it for you, but...never mind. Just meet me after school by the school entrance.”, I said, turning around to leave,

“Wait, no.”, he said, seeming like he was trying to control his laughter. “It's a little funny, but like you said, most girls now a days already had their first kiss. It seems a little...pathetic.”.

I groaned in my throat, wishing I could just punch him, but then that would make me feel bad. Their is nothing pathetic about saving your first kiss for someone special. And even though it pissed me off that I knew now Hermes had already kissed a girl—which, I already knew, Hermes is a hot guy, who wouldn't want to kiss him?--who was me, I still wanted it to be him. I don't care if Hermes a jerk now, he'll be my first and my last and I know I'll be his last.

I turned around, “Don't make it awkward.”, I warned.

He chuckled, but as he leaned down towards me, I saw in his eyes...did I see nervousness also? My heart beat picked up as he put his hands on my waist and I awkwardly put my hands on his shoulders as he got closer and closer. I closed my eyes and not sure if this really happens, but I puckered my lips a little.

It's going to happen, I'm finally going to have my first kiss! This is it—it happened!, I yelled in my head when I felt Hermes lips touch mine and I felt like my body burst with fire works. I could hear my heart beat in my ears and I couldn't believe this was happening.

I leaned in closer to Hermes and I could only imagine one of my legs just 'popping up' like how Anne Hathaway imagine in the Princess Diaries. My first kiss was a little better then hers though.

I was to busy thinking about movies I hadn't realized Hermes had leaned up from the kiss until he cleared his throat and my cheek brust into flames again and I opened my eyes. My mouth was formed in a small 'o' and I stepped back, nodding, “Good. After school by the school entrance.”, I said, unlocking the bathroom doors, not even checking if there was anyone around as I quickly walked out with a small smile on my face.

I just had my first kiss!, I kept repeating for a few times until I realize something and I made a face, I had my first kiss in the boys bathroom.
