LOVE?

We say this word over and over everyday maybe this minute you were about to text someone 'I love you' message. We often say it so causally It seems like it doesn't mean anything.

So many people have their own physiology of this four lettered word called love and I'm not here to destroy or tamper with your belief.

I'm just trying to express myself.

Some find love complicated, some find it very easy but really what is love?

I saw in a book I was reading "love Is when I give you the power to destroy me and you don't but instead you build me up" I for one strongly believe in this view of love.

Some people run from love but really I don't blame them, it's a much unpredicted feeling that can make you feel a lot. It can make you sad, happy even nostalgic.

For as long as I can remember, I've been looking for this perfect thing that I feel once I find it damn I'm so fulfilled, Like a sense of belonging or something that is worth living for but I couldn't find it.

In that period of time, I questioned everything I do and did. I always put people opinions about me my number one priority and not to lie it drained me a lot.

I'm still worried if I'm still doing it now, but I finally came to realize myself when I saw one of Billie Elish interviews and she was like:

"Life is too short to be worrying about what people think about you, at the end of the day everyone still dies and forgot you ever existed so live your life for you and no one else"

And I was like damn she's so right. I've been wasting a lot of my time on the wrong people.

I figured I have a lot of potential and they are just bottled up because I think too much of people opinions about me.

All I'm trying to say is the number one person who deserves your love one hundred percent is YOU. If you can begin to love yourself, I'm sure you can choose to love someone else.

I've been called a lot of things; honestly believe me but there comes this point you just have to face the music. You can't run away from all your problems unless they keep on increasing and they will consume you.

Love requires energy, so much energy that only one person can't fuel it. It's so expensive because it requires something we can't control, our heart, our emotions, and our soul.

Don't worry if you don't have everything figured out now, I'm still figuring myself out. Don't rush it because it's all a process and remember

'progress not perfection'

I feel if you haven't died yet, you haven't accomplished your purpose on earth, just keep pushing.

I never said it was going to be easy, it's not always bed of roses. Even roses have thorns don't you think?

They are gonna be ups and downs. Think of adversity as a step higher or lower in your life. Its your choice on how you view it.

Everything in your life is influenced by the choices we make, we can choose to be happy everyday of our lives or we can choose to be sad and depressed, locked up in our rooms listening to sad music wrapped in our favorite blankets eating a big chuck of ice creams some might not even eat but it's your choice.

The power to change of life is in your hands.

I always thought failure is the worst thing that can happen to me.

But it can actually be the best, don't get me wrong who will obviously want to fail but think of it this way,

Failure is like telling you that you didn't do enough go back and put more effort. It's all starts with taking responsibility everything in your life.

As I come to the end of this chapter, for all circumstances in your life, try to put on a smile!!

"Keep smiling and slaying everyday even when you aint feeling it, don't let them see you sweat"

Don't always seek for attention; it makes people think you're weak. Focus on what really matters to you.

I try loving myself every day, putting my happiness as my number one priority and never have i been any less happy.

There's a quote I saw on instagram and it was like:

"Your enemies are always gonna be watching you so good them a good sight of you winning"

And I was like damn, I'm gonna do that.

Honestly, I don't know why I wrote this but I just feel someone needed to listen to this maybe not today but someday
