Trailer Plot: Over 12,000 years before the Splatoon era, humans all lived together on Earth. The humans on earth wasn't perfect, but it was home. Our main protagonist of this story; Yami Seishin Akuma, is a 19 year old teenager, almost close to his adult years. He was just enjoying his peaceful life on earth without a care in the world, even though he really doesn't care for the world that much. Growing up, Yami was raised by a loving family and his first friend that he ever made was a girl named Maria Robotnik. As years went by, they both grew closer and started dating. Sadly, Maria was very sick with an illness that will soon kill her if not treated, so she left Earth to live in the Space Colony Ark with her Grandfather, abandoning Yami. This broke both of their hearts, especially Yami as he thought he wouldn't see her ever again. A few years passed by and Yami just continued to live his life, although not fully happy. In secret, Yami was born with incredible power but never used it as his body couldn't handle it. When the Government found out about this, they hunted Yami down and wanted his power. Yami didn't go down without a fight, but was near death after a surprise attack but managed to escape and loses unconscious.

When Yami came out from his near death coma, he realized that he was saved by Maria's grandfather but also knew that he wasn't human anymore. He has became the Ultimate Life Form and was thankful for being saved as this new body can handle his power very well. Soon, Maria and Yami were reunited and happy with eachother. Unfortunately after a full year, Yami's happiness was taken away from him as the Government tracked him down and killed Maria in front of his eyes before being sent away to escape. Sadly, the human race soon went extinct as Yami was now asleep in a capsule underground for many many centuries. After what feels like forever, Yami suddenly awakes with a dark purpose of vengeance. However, he'll soon notice that the human race was no more as a new species rule the lands. What will his purpose be now? Will he still destroy the entire planet or become humanity's last hope....Maria's last hope. Yami Seishin Akuma is long dead and forgotten. Now taking up a new name; Shadow the Hedgehog is going to take his own path in the new world.
