Luke's POV

I woke up at 6 this morning. I took a shower and got dressed. I packed all of the cloths I would need plus and extra shirt. After I packed my cloths I made sure I had everything I would need. I then went to the kitchen and made some caramel rolls for on the road. I put the rolled and other snacks along with my cloths and things in the backseat of the truck. I am so excited to for on a long trip with her. I started the truck and went to her house. When I arrived it was 7:52. I texted her I was here and asked if I could come in or if she was coming out.

Cally's POV

I was up at 6:30 this morning. After I did my morning routine and workout, I packed my cloths and other necessities. My parents came up to my room to ask if I was ready. I said yeah and asked if they needed to meet him. They said yes. At 7:52 I heard a diesel truck pull into the yard and he texted me if he should come inside or if I'm going out, I told him to come to the door. A few seconds later he knocked on the door and my dad opened the door.

"Hello Mr. Roberts my name is Luke Eli. It's nice to meet you sir," he shook my dad's hand. My dad looked impressed and moved out of the door way to let Luke in. He took off his hat and said "ma'am" to my mother.

" Take good care of her, " my father replied leaving the room. My mother hugged me and told me to call her and to be safe and followed my father. 

"Have you had breakfast yet?" Luke asked me once we got on the road and went to the stables.

"No I didn't" I replied.

"Reach in the back seat and grab the red container, " he. I grabbed it. They look so good. I hadn't had caramel roll in forever. "I made them this morning "

"I don't believe you made them," I relied jokingly, "mhmm they're so good!"

I ate as he drove, when we got to the stables he hooked up the trailer and grabbed a halter and lead rope while I put our cloths and food in the backseat.
