Over the past year, I've got used to Andy's scent.

Well, almost.

I don't understand why I gave her my mother's ring and some stupid other presents and kiss. I'm not her lover or anything. It's been more than a hundred years since I've lived at the age of 19. But I've been continually repeating high school and college to pass the time and this is the life cycle made by the council for me. I can't get against them.

Every time I see Andy though, I feel weird. There's always this burning feeling to my cold body. Sometimes I wonder why I have to meet her after such a long time.

One night, she called out to me. I never like following people nor spying to them so I didn't care much of her whereabouts but her voice that night was shaking and scared.

Being hurt or attacked was the last thing I don't want her to feel.

The attacker was a loose newborn vampire. It's always like that to newborns - going wild with their urge of blood. Someone's trying to pull strings here.

I carried Andy and used hypnotism on her to sleep and she thanked me! Woah! This burning feeling again! I squeezed her into my arms tighter ensuring I don't break her fragile body.

I left her at the bedroom she once lied down and went to the council to report these private matters. I then headed to her house and hypnotised her family that she's on a short vacation and they fell for it.

Before heading back, I went on hunting. I found a drunken old guy and hypnotised him before I made my move. His scent was bitter but I don't want to feed on Andy. Why?

For four days that she's asleep, I watched her closely. I envy her - knowing who you are. It's basically when you turn into a vampire, you'll forget your human life and start making first memories again. So it's kind of nerve-wracking.

When she woke up, she wanted to leave. But I begged her not to and she stayed. I laid my head on her lap and pretended sleeping then brought her home.

And I made my resolve. I'm going to protect her because I...

I..

fell for her...
