At college

Nandani entered the college campus at 8 in the morning, as she had an early class today. She was messaging Abhimanyu about her well being as they didn't able to talk yesterday, and she knows he will get worried and start calling her leaving all his work behind. After finished with that, her gaze move from phone to her surroundings, but immediately became confused. Students in the corridor were staring at her. She was decked in a red colour jumpsuit with her hairs left opened and curled unlike yesterday tied in a messy bun. She had actually spend half an hour styling her hair today and doing her makeup, as they were going out after classes so she wanted to look good. She even wore her beige block heels with it and unlike other days, she carried a beige sling bag instead of a bag back and was holding a notebook in her hand.

But she was confused by the gaze of student on her. Not able to understand how stunning she look today, she move towards canteen chucking it. Alya and Mukti were already waiting for her there, saw her coming and greeted her. She smiled at them and responded to them. In few seconds, she frowned.

Na: why the hell everyone is looking me ?

Al: babe you look sexy today

Muk: and obviously they are not able to move there gaze from you

Na: that feel good to hear ( smirking)

Alya and Mukti laughed and Nandani too joined them.

Na: btw where are the boys?

Muk: they had late classes so they are sleeping.

Nandani nodded in understanding. After sharing few more talks, they move towards their class. Walking through the corridor, they saw navya coming and few boys standing in a group were laughing on her. As she was wearing a salwar suit and her hairs pleated in braids. Nandani eyes turned red seeing this and she marched towards them.

Na: why the hell you guys are laughing on her!?

Listening her shout, those boys became quite. Navya looked at her and smiled weakly.

Na: just became she wore salwar, you are making fun of her. Tell me one thing, what you mother wears!? Skirt or jeans?? Huhh..she also wore kurti right !?

The boys stood silent which angered her more.

Na: now why are you silent answer me ( boys nodded) what !??? Bolna nhi aata

1 boy: she wear kurti

Na: then!? You laugh on her also !? ( they nodded in no) never judge anyone on the basis of there dress and if I ( dangerously) saw you making fun of others, that will be your last day. Now leave

Those boys immediately ran from there being scared. Nandani turn to Navya who thanked her. Alya and Mukti were standing beside her.

Nav: thank you Nandani , ek baar aur humhe bachane ke liye

Na: that's okay navya but you should take your stand

Nav: tum na bhout sundar ho toh voh tumpar nhi haste, aur tumhari baat bhi sunte h liken humhe dekho, ( sadly)

Na: who told you this stupid thing?

Al: navya taking your standing is not related to how beautiful a person is, you need confidence.

Na: exactly. Just be confident and shout on them. Surely they will ran away being scared.

Nav: Hum khoshish krege

Muk: guys ( girls look at her) we can give navya a makeover

Nav: really ( excitedly ) hum bhi sundar dikhege

Na: you are already beautiful navya, we will just change your dressing change.

Al: yeah, we are going shopping after class you can join us

Nav: tab toh Abhi chal sakte h, saari class cancel hogyi h aaj

Muk: kyu ?

Na: Mukti chord na, cancel hogyi acha hi h. Uss khadoos ki shakak nhi dekhne ko millege.

Al: right

All four laughed and move out. They all move drove towards the mall in Nandani's car.

At dhruv and alya's apartment

Dhruv was sitting on sofa watching tv. He was dressed up and was about to move out when he received alya's call telling him that all the classes had been canceled and she is going shopping with girls. Initially he decided to change, but iron man was telecasting so he dropped the plan. His door bell ranks dhruv went to see. Opening the door, he found cabir standing there.

Cab: abeyyy chal college ke liye late ho jaege

Dhr: bhai classes cancel ho gyi

Cab: acha ( surprised) toh phir khane main kya h tere ghar par

Cabir asked as he closed the main door and move to kitchen. There he found chips packet in cabinet and took it. He also joined dhruv on sofa, eating and watching tv.

Dhr: Manik ko bhi bulaye ?

Cab: aree haa..ruk main call karta hu

Cabir took out his phone and dailed Manik's number. Manik was sleeping peacefully in his room when he heard his phone ringing. Without opening his eyes, he picked up the call.

Ma: hello ( sleepy)

Cab: tu abhi tak soo rha h ( surprised)

Ma: Abeyy aaj classes nhi h toh jag kar Kya kru

Cab: tujhe kaise pta !?

Ma: meri maa trustee h

Cab: leave that and come to dhruv apartment

Ma: kyu!? Tu party de rha h( again sleeping)

Cab: main nhi Nandani de rhi h..uska boyfriend bann gya na

Ma: whatttt!!!!( sat up on the bed with a jerk)

Cab: Kya what ( casually)

Ma: Nandani ka boyfriend ( furious)

Cab: acha..kab bna ( surprised tone)

Ma: Abeyy tune hi toh bola Abhi ( irritated)

Cab: Maine kab bola..pagal hogya h tu.

Ma: cabirrrrrr ( gritting his teeth)

Cab: I know my name. Ab tu yaha par aaa

Cabir hanged up the call without listening to manik. Dhruv was laughing hard listening their conversation as phone was on speaker.

Cab: chal kuch order karte h

Dhruv nodded and ordered pizza.

In mall

Entering the mall, girls directly went to Forever21 to shop being excited. Alya and Nandani were going through the dresses while Mukti was looking for jacket. Navya was gaping  at her surroundings standing still. Nandani noticed her and dragged her to the changing room with few dresses in her hand followed by alya and Mukti.

Na: now go and try this ( giving her a dress)

Nav: liken Nandani yeh bhout chota h

Na: you don't worry about that, we will get you stockings to wear underneath this. Okay?

Navya nodded and went inside the changing room while girls impatiently waited for her. After five minutes she opened the door making girls gaze from to her. Navya was nervous as this is the first time she is wearing a short dress and that too sleeveless. It was a black noodle strap dress which reach her mid thigh.

Al: oh my god ( exclaimed) You look hot

Muk: seriously girlll

Nav: hum Sachi main ache lag rhe h?

Na: ache !? Tum bhout achi lag rhi ho

Muk: kal toh poore college ko shock millega

Listening Mukti all laughed. Then Navya try few more dresses, top and jeans. She was being pampered by girls who was enjoying dressing up navya. Even the girls shopped a lot of dress and also clicked a lot of pics. After done with outfits, they paid the bill and move towards footwear showroom Koufe. Alya immediately picked a silver pencil heel and pass it to navya. Navya wore it and stand up trembling.

Nav: hum gir jayege

Na: hold my hold and slowly took a step

Navya hold her hand tightly and took a step. Soon she was able to walk without trembling.

Nav: wohhhhooo ( exclaimed)

Muk: aaram se Navya

Mukti said as Navya twirled around and as expected she was on ground. Nandani, alya and Mukti laughed and Navya pouted seeing this.

Nav: I can't handle this

Na: we will try wedges heel !? ( looking at Mukti and alya)

Muk: yes..that will be comfortable for her

Nandani choose a beige wedge heel for her. Walking in that, navya felt comfortable and smiled. They all shopped for Navya and then for themselves. Their next stop was Aldo to shop accessories. Entering side, they all shopped a lot of earring and neck pieces. They also shopped for Navya as well who was now comfortable with her surrounding. After two hour of shopping, all ended up in food court being tired.

Na: that was fun

Muk: little tiring too

Nav: humhe toh bhout mzaa aaya

Al: let's pamper ourself after eating

Na: yes. I need a spa

Nav: toh hum iske baad ghar nhi jayege ( confuse)

Muk: nhi iske baad your makeover time and our spa time ( smirking)

Nav: matlab!?

Na: matlab we are gonna get you a hair spa, waxing and facial. After this all the tan will flew away and you skin will staring glowing.

Nav: aree waah

Al: Nandani we will also go to Zara

Na: I heard that they got a new collection

Muk: I know it's off topic but has anyone done the project ?

Na: making sketches of outfits !? Then yes

Al: even I have done that too

Muk: matlab main hi baaki hu ( pouting)

Na: you have to hurry, kal hi submission h

Muk: I know and the worst point is that I can't take ideas from google

Al: Mukti if we take ideas from giggle then how we are gonna be fashion designer

Na: true that

Nav: agar tum logo ka hogya ho toh hum chale ( impatient )

Other three giggled and nodded. They all move towards the salon. They got navya a full body waxing, hair spa and facial while Nandani and alya got manicure and Mukti got her hair spa. After few hours of pampering themselves, they finally felt relaxed from the chores of the world they were dealing with. Mukti, Nandani and alya were standing in front of changing room, waiting for navya. Her spa session was over and alya gave her a neon green dress with gladiator sandals. In then minutes she came out, looking extremely beautiful. Her hairs which were earlier pleated were now straight with brown ombré. Her face was glowing as all the dirt and blackheads was removed by facial. She looked a totally different person.

Na: kal college main aag lagne waali h ( exclaimed)

Al: navya you look hot

Nav: thank you...humhe na hum bhout ache lag rhe h

Muk: let's take a pic

All nodded and clicked a selfie. After clearing the bills, they move out.

Na: ab kya kre?

Al: let's go to beach

Nav: tum log jao..humhe hostel jaana h.

Muk: navya common yarr..come with us. It will be fun

Nav: khash hum aa pate...kal humhe assignment submit karna h aur humne Abhi tak start bhi nhi kra

Na: vaise assignment toh kissi aur ko bhi sumbit karna h ( smirking at Mukti)

Muk: thik h na. I will complete it as soon I reach home

Alya and Nandani giggled and they all move towards the beach after dropping Navya at hostel.

At dhruv apartment

After an hour, Manik also arrived there and entering inside, immediately he jump on cabir.

Cab: oh my god baby..aaj itna pyaar kaise aaya mujhpar

Ma: chup ho ja bilkul..kya keh rha tu phone par

Cab: Kya ( innocently)

Ma: ki Nandani ka boyfriend h ( gritting his teeth)

Cab: ha kaha toh..

Dhr: Manik tujhe kyu itna farak padh rha h ( suspicious look)

Cab: exactly ( freeing him from Manik's grip) day before yesterday, you were planning to make her fab5 next target, what happened now . ( smirking)

Ma: mujh_e kaha fa_rak padh_ta h ( stammering)

Cab: Manik Malhotra is stammering..ab toh jarur kuch h

Ma; ( sighed) pta nhi yarr..but she is something

Manik sat on the sofa with dhruv and cabir on his either side. He looked firstly at cabir and then at dhruv with a confused look.

Ma: for the first time in my life, I'm confused and that too for a girl.

Dhr: you like her Manik

Ma: I know that ( sighed) but I'm also aware of the fact that it's more than that but what!?( looking at them) I want to be with her always, being around her I feel good. I feel happy. I like when she tease me or shut me with her answer ( chuckled). I didn't even realise when she broke the wall and entered inside my mind and now she is making her way towards my heart. For the first time I'm not afraid instead excited for our journey.

Cab: bhaiii tu toh gya ( laughing)

Dhr: you are in love broo ( hi fied cabir)

Ma: it's not love ( smiled lightly ) but I desperately want to fall for her. ( cabir and Dhruv smiled )

Then only Dhruv got a notification on his phone. He looked at the notification and it was written 'alya_saxena has posted a picture'. He immediately opened the Instagram and smiled looking at the picture.

Dhr: yaha hum log devdas bne hue h aur vaha girls enjoy kar rhi h

Dhruv showed them the post. It was a picture of alya and Nandani on the beach which does surprised them, but seeing the growing  bonding of Nandani with them, they find it normal. They both were sitting beside each other, with Nandani drinking coke and grinning and alya had her eyes closed and tongue sticking out with her fingers making a 'peace' sign.

Manik opened his Instagram, seeing the post in dhruv phone and saw the pic. His all attention was on Nandani. He did know the fact that he like her not as friend instead more than that but he is confuse what exactly this feeling is. A lips turned into a curve seeing her in his favourite colour. His eyes stopped at the caption ' not sure who's crazier 🤪 @nàndànï_mûrthy'. He clicked on her name with alya mentioned, and her insta profile opened and he clicked on  'follow' and smiled when it turned into 'requested'  as her account was private and keep the phone aside and turn to his buddies who was now giving him a mischievous smirk.

Ma: Kya

Dhruv and cabir nodded in no and Manik look here and there to avoid them.

Ma: main na Abhi aaya

He immediately stood up and went to balcony making both the boys laugh. He stood there leaning on the railing, smiling. In five minutes, he got a notification which made his smile grew wider. It was 'nàndànï_mûrthy accepted your request' and immediately after it was another 'nàndànï_mûrthy has followed you' which made him happy. Immediately he opened her profile, and the recent post was few minutes old and was with alya and Mukti. It looked that it has taken in trail room as it is a mirror selfie.
