It's no secret that I hate when people are like "lOOK AT WHAT A STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN <insert person here> IS"
And when characters only exist for "diversity"
aND WHEN CHARACTERS ARE LIKE "lOOK HOW GAY I AM!!! SURE I'M USELESS TO THE PLOT AND I'M ONLY GETTING EXTRA SCREENTIME BECAUSE I'M GAY, BUT I'M STILL A GOOD CHARACTER, RIGHT???"

but you know what I respect?
When characters are """strong independent women""" or gay and they're not overly preachy about it and it doesn't feel like they're shoehorned into the plot!
Like the relationship between Carlos and Cecil from Welcome to Night Vale. It's treated as just a normal relationship.
