Sixty: MTOABB
🐞MTOABB🐞
We ended up not doing much after breakfast. Everyone hadn't bothered to suggest plans for the day, so we all gathered in the lounge.
The weather resembled that of Gomes's mood and everyone was trying to take his mind off of what was going on down in Miami with his daughter, but no luck. I was the worst of them all, I sat still next to him, not knowing what the best method was to comfort him.
"What about a game?" Zack asks.
"What kind of game?" Cassandra looks at him knowingly.
"Just the classic - Who Knows Me Better. If the statement describes you and someone points you out, you drink. This is the best way to get drunk and loosen up," he explains.
"I'll pass," Gomes says.
"Prinse--"
"I'm just not feeling it tonight, Zack," he cuts him off as he states.
"You need to stop hurting your brain by thinking about it. There's nothing you can do from right here," Chloe chimes in. I wish she would have let me be the voice of reason to Gomes, although I'm not sure my words would have been that wise.
"I'm just worried, and Holly hasn't responded to any of my text messages or calls," he responds. He places his hand on my thigh and begins to draw lazy circles on my skin as a means to distract himself.
"Should I go get the alcohol?" Cassandra asks, but she wasn't looking for our confirmation, only Gomes's.
"Sure." He nods.
There are many ways to help your boyfriend forget, but since I wasn't going to indulge myself in the obvious one, drinking sounded like the best replacement. Although Gomes could hold down his liquor better than anyone in this room, the game would at least keep his mind from wandering.
Once Cass returns to her seat, she pours the liquid into the shot glasses. Zack looks at Gomes and then me, and I swear you could see his evil smirk creeping past his innocent facade. "This person has participated in a threesome."
I wasn't expecting him to say that and never in my wildest dream did I think kids my age did that. Chloe pointed at Gomes, and he responded by removing his hand from my thigh and leaning forward to grab a shot glass full of vodka. He consumes the liquid in one take. My brain was still trying to catch up with what just went down.
"Wait, I need someone to explain this," I say stunned.
Before Zack could utter a word, Gomes beat him to it. "That's not how the game goes."
I figured he would say that so I looked at Zack. "I can't get in the middle of this, Rose."
"Stop calling her that," Gomes hisses.
"You can call me whatever you want, since he doesn't bother to explain himself." I shift so that our skins are no longer touching.
"It's in the past," he grunts in defeat.
"Then why won't you explain it to me?' I ask.
"You'll overthink it, like you always do with everything else."
He had a point there, but now this game didn't seem like a good idea anymore. He had more secrets hidden than I had and we were only one year apart.
"You can't already be fighting, that was the first question," Juliet says and the rest agrees. I roll my eyes and bite my tongue from replying.
"My turn. This person has kissed more than one person in this room," Chloe states and Cass and Juliet pointed at the two boys and me.
I took a sip and winced. "This is terrible," I say staring at the remaining liquid in the glass.
"You need to drink it all," Zack says.
I knew that, Zack. I close my eyes as I bring the cold glass to my lips and let the liquid travel past my uvula before starting to cough.
"You're okay?" Gomes asks, but I ignore him. I was still angry at him and maybe I was going to be until he explained the whole threesome situation.
"I'll tell you about it when we're alone. Is that a good enough answer?" He sighs melodramatically as I nod with a smile. I shift close to him and he takes that as the perfect opportunity to wrap his arms around my waist and nuzzle me with kisses on my neck.
"This person has gone to the nude beach," Cass points out. I watch as Gomes and Zack point at each other as they try to hold in their laughter.
I'm not sure I know any of them. I haven't once pointed at anyone in this group and you would assume I would know everything there is to know about Chloe since we are the best of sisters, but no. How long did it take for her to tell me that she was dating Brody? - That proves my point.
"It was your idea but yet I was the one who received an earful from Holly when we returned," Gomes tells Zack.
"You were the one with the girlfriend, not me," he laughs.
"This person has skinny-dipped," Juliet states after the boys' little moment had died down.
There was no point in this question as they all took a shot. "What are you waiting for?" Juliet asks me.
"Huh?" I tilt my head quizzically.
"You need to take a shot with us," Chloe says, and Cass nods agreeing with Juliet and Chloe.
"But I wasn't fully naked," I defend, but in the end, I ended up taking a shot with them.
"This person has had unprotected sex," I say, and I immeditely wanted to go reverse, scrape everything and restart, but life doesn't work like that. Everyone stayed quiet. Gomes refilled his shot glass.
"I wasn't thinking," I whisper apologetically.
"It's not a big deal," he tells me and I nod silently.
Right after that, it was his turn. He looks at me for a moment longer and then he smirks. "This person's first kiss was taken by me."
"It's obvious. Rose, just take the shot," Zack grunts. "We're even now, right Prinse?" He asks.
"Not even close," he responds nonchalantly.
What was that supposed to mean?
Didn't they start talking because they hashed it all out?
This time around I was going to bite my tongue and not speak. I didn't need to ruin the moment, but if he's not going to forgive Zack for kissing Holly then he shouldn't forgive me either.
"This person hasn't flicked the bean," Zack states unfazed.
"I think they all have," Gomes responds.
"You think so?" He raises an eyebrow.
"What are we talking about? I am confused," I say. Chloe points at me and tells me to drink.
"No I won't, Gomes just said we all have done it."
"How can you know you've done it if you don't even know what we're talking about?" Juliet asks me amused.
"Ugh, then tell me," I say.
"First drink," Zack orders.
"Have you... you know, had your fingers in between your legs," Gomes whispers in my ear and should the ground split in half right now, I would fall in between the cracks and never to be seen again.
"Zack, why're you so dirty-minded!" I cry out, slurring my words.
"Haven't I been right from the beginning?" He asks rhetorically. You could see how he was enjoying my discomfort.
"It's not a big deal if you haven't," Gomes assures me. He grabs my shot glass and downs the drink on my behalf.
"We've all had our fair amount of alcohol in our system, so why don't we call it quits and go to bed. We have an early trip back home tomorrow," Gomes says and we all agree. And since everyone hadn't changed out of their pajamas the whole day, we could all save time trying to change.
