I flinched when thunder strike.

Oh No ! God, please please please help me.

I shut my eyes tightly, holding blanket above my head.

It's been an hour, I am trying to sleep.

I asked Ryder if I could sleep in his room and he agreed but now I am embarrassed. I told Pari to come and sleep with me but no, she thinks herself as Queen Victoria. She told and I quote "I am not scared Rav, it's totally ok. I mean yes, I was scared at the time of movie, but that's it. I am all fine, don't worry Rav" Now, who is going to tell her that I am NOT fine, I need someone tonight with me.

I sighed.

Ok Calm down, Raven.

I am 17, going to be 18 soon. I am officially going to be an adult. I should be brave. I shouldn't be scared of all those creepy guys. I am strong, yes, I am very strong. I am not afraid of all these-

Thunder !!!

"AHHHHHH"

I kept my both palms on my ear.

Oh God ! Why sky is producing light tonight ?

My heart dropped when I heard a knock on my door.

Who is it ? At this time ?

I guess, I am imagining it.

I pinched myself.

My eyes widened when I heard knock again.

This is not a FUCKING IMAGINATION. SOMEONE IS THERE ON MY DOOR, KNOCKING ON IT.

I again heard a knock.

I gulped "Who is there ?"

Please No Leatherface, please, please, otherwise I am not able to show my face to anyone tomorrow.

Don't be childish. WHY THE FUCK LEATHERFACE WILL KNOCK ON THE DOOR ?

"Raven it's me"

I took a breath of relief and without wasting a second, I ran towards the door and opened it swiftly.

Ryder is looking at me worriedly.

"W-What happened ?"

I gulped.

"Why didn't you sleep yet ?" He asked me raising his eyebrow.

"Ah uh umm I was sleeping, yeah I was sleeping but woke up because of knock, yeah" I yawned giving my lie a best effect.

He formed a 'O' shape and nodded.

"Okk, Well I couldn't sleep so, I decided to spend sometime with you, if you are ok with it. But You were sleeping, so it's ok, you go to sleep, I won't disturb you, Byee" He said and turned around to leave. My eyes widened. I immediately hold his arm.

"No No Don't leave" I spat.

He raised his eyebrow.

"Oh because, now I am awake, so I couldn't sleep either" I scratched my neck. He stared at me.

"Ok then, let's go to terrace" I immediately nodded.

It's better than living alone in the room.

We came on terrace.

We sat there, staring at the night sky.

I sighed in content.

There is a silence between us. A comfortable and peaceful silence.

I stared at the stars. A sky full of stars is a pleasant thing to watch. Today is No Moon day, so there is no Moon today.

"Thank you Raven"

My head snapped towards Ryder. I can't see his face due to dark but I can hear his fast breath. I kept my hand on his hand and rubbed his hard knuckles.

"What happened Ryder ?"

"Thank you Rav, Thank you so much. Today because of you only, we are here."

"Ryder, don't-"

"No Rav, Let me complete this. Please. From the day I saw you in corridor, remember ? I was beating that boy and you protected him that day. I don't know why I felt something different in me, but I was blinded with anger. Anger because nobody ever goes against me in college. And your courage hurts my ego and I started telling myself that I hate you-" Ryder chuckled sadly. I just stared at him even though I can't see his face.

I rubbed his knuckles.

"I never realised that I never hated you but just annoyed at you. Annoyed at you, because you go against me to protect that random boy. I don't even know what I was thinking." He groaned making me chuckle.

"The day you showed up at our house. You saw us getting abused. I was scared. Scared because I thought David will hurt you, Scared because I thought you will gonna tell everyone about this and use this against us. So, I decided that before you could do something, I will make you leave the college. That's all confirmed by David's fake video. I was blinded with rage. I was so foolish that I didn't realise that it could be a Photoshopped too. I don't know what I was thinking and that moment I decide to bully you, to make your life h-hell" He took a shaky breath.

I gulped a lump remembering those times.

"I told them to bully you. I really felt guilty that day in cafeteria but guess what I was just blinded by anger. And trust me Rav, I could never forgive myself for that-"

"No Ryder, it's over. Don't think-"

"No Rav, Even if it is over, I know you were broken that day. I saw the look in your eyes that day and still I decide to sit and watch. I am really Sorry, Rav, I am really really sorry" He apologized me, with heavy voice.

"Ryder look, I am not going to say it's ok, because we both know that's not ok. But I want to tell you that, it's over, time heals everything. And I am healed from that." I replied honestly, sighing.

"When we were children, I promised Dad that I will always protect you and I broke that promise, I am so sorry, Rav" He choked as he take a deep breath.

"Ryder, you didn't know I was your sister-"

"That still didn't give me an excuse to hurt you, Rav. I did wrong. Bullying is crime and I committed that." Ryder whispered.

I smiled. Proudly.

My Decision to forgive them was not wrong.

"Ryder" I whispered and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, keeping his chin on my shoulder.

"You still never gave up on us. We harmed you, we bullied you but you still forgave us, you fought for us, you faced your worst nightmare Brian for us, you risked your life for us, you gave us home, you gave us the love, care and warmth, Thank you so much, Raven, Thank you so much" Ryder tightened his hold. I sighed in content.

"It's my duty as a Sister, Ryder. I can't see my brothers suffering. Never." I whispered.

I pulled out from the hug and cupped his cheeks looking in his eyes.

"I can sacrifice myself for you guys, Ryder, I will never hesitate for it. I could take bullet for you-"

"Enough Rav" He glared at me.

I chuckled.

"Now it's our turn to protect you, Rav. Now leave this duty to us. Will you ?" He asked me. I laughed at that but nodded. He chuckled and pulled me to his chest and we sat there, again staring at the sky.

"You know what, I never thought I will see this side of yours" I smirked.

He froze for a second.

"Heyy, this is gonna be secret between us, is it clear ?" He asked me sternly.

"Why ?"

"Oii Raven, please, you can't do this" He groaned.

"Well then watch me"

"You know what, you are literally a mean triplet" I could practically see his glare on me.

"And you are the baby one" I laughed out loud.

"Shut up" He groaned.

I laughed.

And like this, we spent our night.

"HEYYY BITCH GET UP RIGHT NOW"

I frantically sat on my bed looking here and there. I frowned seeing Alex there with a sour expression.

"Ryder" I whispered looking around.

Where is he ?

When did we sleep ?

How did i get into the room ? On my bed ?

And why Alex is standing in my room ?

Why he is glaring at me ?

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING ?

"He is in the garage, cleaning" Alex muttered.

I frowned. Why ? I scratch my bed messy hair making it more messy.

Suddenly a realisation hits me as my eyes opened.

Today is their Punishment Day !!!

YAYYYYYYY !!!!

My eyes beamed as I looked at Alex who scoffed at me.

"WOWW I AM SO EXCITED" I squealed.

He rolled his eyes.

"Wait for 20 minutes, I will be back. And after that we will start with your punishment" I smirked at the end and before he could hit me on my back, I sprint towards bathroom to get ready for the Wonderful day ahead.
