Ashley's POV: 

(This takes place about 2 years after the last chapter of LMBF, Love you! Btw, Amanda and Christian are already married here! You may now read!)  

"Mom, is this really necessary? I love New York, why do we have to move?" I heard my brother, Ashton, groan as we were driving through our new neighbourhood. I was cuddled up next to him in the backseat and he had his arm around me. My other brother, Nathan, was beside me playing on his IPad not having a care in the world. 

"Sorry hun, but you're starting high school. Don't you think it's a good idea for us to have a fresh new start?" Mom said and then told Dad the directions. 

"Ashy, there's nothing we can do about it now. We're already here, and besides we can still talk to our friends through text and calls." I assured my frustrated twin, he wasn't too thrilled knowing that we were moving to California because our life in New York was perfectly fine. Although, I think Mom and Dad are actually right, we've been living in an apartment for years, and Nathan has lived in an apartment all his life, it's time for a change.

He looked down at me and sighed, he kissed my forehead and looked back at Mom, "You're lucky that Ashley approves of this move because if she wasn't, we would still be in New York." He said, Mom smiled and gave me a wink. 

"Don't be such a sour puss, Ashton. California's great." Dad said keeping his eyes on the road. Ashton rolled his eyes and pulled me closer to him. I felt my phone buzz, I pulled it out and saw that it was a text from Matt. 

(A/N: You guys remember Matt, don't you? He's Mr and Mrs Ferguson's son. He moved to New York as well and went to Middle school with the twins.) 

FROM: Matty<3 

TO: Ashley 

'Ugh, I miss you both already. You're so far away.' 

I felt a smile grow on my lips and typed in a reply.

TO: Matty<3

FROM: Ashley

'We miss you too, Matty. Don't worry, I'll FaceTime you when we get settled in.' 

TO: Ashley

FROM: Matty<3

'You better, missy!' 

"Who was that?" Ashton asked, I looked up at him and gave him a smile. 

"Matt, he said that he misses us already." I said, he chuckled and shook his head.

"I miss that guy." He said

"Yeah, me too." I said with my smile dropping.

"Cheer up, kids! We're here!" Dad exclaimed and we felt the car come to a halt. I unwrapped myself from Ashton and looked out the window at the same time as Nathan looked up from his gadget. God, this house is beautiful.

"Oh my god" I gasped

"Gotta admit, this house is nice." Ashton said

"Wow" Nathan said

"Well c'mon then, let's check it out. The moving truck's gonna be here in a few minutes." Mom said and got out of the car. Dad followed and Ashton opened the door and got out. We followed and I looked at the house in awe. 

"C'mon, let's head in." Dad said grabbing Mom's hand and gesturing for us to follow. Mom got the keys from her purse and opened the door. 

"Go ahead, look around. Choose your rooms." Dad said, the three of us bolted inside and went upstairs. I looked at the first door to the left and opened it. I opened it to see a pretty big room, definitely bigger than my room in the apartment back in New York. Technically, it was Ashton and I's room because it was like a three room apartment, and one was for Nathan and then for Mom and dad. Now, Mom and Dad said that we can have our own rooms, which I'm very thankful for. 

I continued to look around the room which was still empty and I knew that this was the room for me, I just feel it. I opened a door and was shocked to see a walk in closet. 

"I see you found your room." I heard Dad's voice say, I turned around and saw him leaning on the door.

"Oh hey, Dad." I said

"We figured that you would pick this room, you girls sure do love your clothes." He chuckled, I smiled and walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his torso.

"I love you so much, Dad. I know I may not be your real daughter, but I'm really glad that you and Mom patched things up back then." I said, he wrapped his arms around me and stroked my hair.

"You may not be my daughter by blood, but in my heart you're my true daughter. I know that things were really rough back then, but see it's all worth it. Look where we are now, a happy family." He said, I felt him kiss my hair before pulling away. He cupped my cheek and kissed my forehead.

"I love you so much, Ashley. Both you and your brother are my children no matter what anyone says." He said, my smile widened and I nodded my head.

"What's going on here?" I heard Mom ask, we both turned to her and Dad gave her a smile.

"Nothing, hun. Just having a little heart to heart talk." He said

"Alright, well the moving truck's here. We should get started on unpacking." She said

"Okay then, let's go." I said, we all walked out and then walked down the stairs to see Ashton carrying a few boxes.

"Here ya go, sis. These are some of yours." He said, I smiled and walked over to him getting the boxes from him.

"Thanks, Ashy." I said and kissed his cheek. I rushed up the stairs and into my new room. I set the boxes down and looked around figuring how to decorate my room. I've always loved decorating, I just can't help it. I smiled and figured out what to do, this should be fun.

*A few hours later*

It took a couple of hours but it's definitely worth it. I look at my masterpiece and smiled. I heard the door open and I saw Ashton walk in with Nathan.

(A/N: Just so you have an idea of what her room looks like, okay you may continue now.) 

"Wow, I like what you did with the room." Ashton said, Nathan jumped on my bed and erupted in giggles. 

"Thanks, you know me when I'm decorating, I go all out." I said, he chuckled and we both sat on my bed.

"I like your room, Ley. Can you help me with mine? Mine looks so boring." Nathan pouted, I laughed and nodded my head.

"Of course, Nate. I'd love to help you out, if you promise not to eat my pop tarts for at least a month." I compromised, he smiled and eagerly nodded his head.

"Alright then." I said, we heard the doorbell ring and we all looked at each other.

"Who can that be?" I asked, the both shrugged and the three of us walked out of my room and down the stairs. We heard multiple voices and Mom and Dad's voices. As soon as we came into view, the chattery stopped and they all looked at us. There was a woman and a man, they looked fairly young, maybe a few years older than Mom and Dad, and there was also a little boy who looked to be Nathan's age and a a guy who looked like Ashton and I's age. I must say, he's pretty cute.

"Oh these must be your children, I must say they are very handsome and beautiful." The woman said, I offered a smile and she smiled back.

"Oh look at this lovely girl, very beautiful." She said

"Yeah, she really is. Our little princess." Dad said, Ashton wrapped his arm around my waist and Nathan clung to my leg.

"Hello, my name is Ashley." I said and stuck out my hand for them to shake. The man smiled and shook my hand. 

"I'm Owen Price, and this is my family. My wife, Isabelle, our kids Nolan and Dale." He said

"I'm Ashton, and this is our little brother, Nathan." Ashton said and shook their hands. Nolan gave us a smile and nodded his head at us. Like I said early, he's pretty cute. Actually, he's hella cute.

"What a nice family you have here." Isabelle smiled

"Thank you, you have a lovely family." Mom said and returned the smile.

"Why don't you guys join us for dinner because I can see that you guys are still settling in." Isabelle suggested 

"That would be perfect." Dad said

And from this day on, our families have been close friends ever since.
