Ashley's POV:

"Ashley, what the hell are you doing?" I heard Nolan's voice asked, I sighed and turned around to face him. I saw that he has lipstick marks spread on his lips and some on his neck and his hair was a bit messed up. Pig.

"Hanging out with some people who actually want to be with me." I said, I looked him up and down and scoffed.

"You look like you just had a quickie in the storage closet." I said, and as if on cue I saw the girl from the cashier exit the storage closet while fixing her hair and her clothes. All of a sudden I felt  a pang of jealousy hit me like a frying pan. 

"You're such a pig." I said, I stood up and grabbed Julian's hand.

"Excuse me, I'm just gonna borrow your friend. We'll see you tomorrow." I said, I grabbed my stuff and dragged Julian away form the table and out of the shop.

"You want me to take you home?" I heard him ask, I calmed down a bit and turned to him.

"I'm sorry to drag you out like that, it's just that I don't really like him or what he does that much." I said

"Really? Then why do you even hang out with him?" He asked 

"He's my twin's best friend, Julian. And he's always at our house, so I at least have to act civil with him. We were okay before we got here, and I was really hoping to get some ice cream ." I said, he chuckled and squeezed my arm.

"I'll take you out for ice cream another time, that alright with you?" He suggested, I smiled and nodded my head.

"Thanks, Julian." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Do you want me to take you home?" He asked, I pulled away from him and nodded my head.

"That would be nice, thanks." I said, he nodded and held out a hand. I smiled and took it and we walked hand in hand to his car.

"Thanks for the ride, Julian." I said as I got out of the car. He gave me a smile and nodded his head.

"Anytime, Ash." He said

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked

"I'll see you tomorrow." I confirmed

"Alright, bye Ash." He said, I smiled and he drove away. I walked in the house with a big smile on my face.

"Who was that? He's pretty cute." I heard Mom's voice say, I turned to her to see her smirking at me.

"What?" I asked 

"That guy who dropped you off. I caught a glimpse of him and he's pretty cute." She said, I rolled my eyes and took my shoes off.

"I don't think Dad would appreciate you talking about other guys other than himself." I said, she chuckled and we both sat on the couch.

"Where's Nolan? I thought you guys went out for ice cream." She said, my mood instantly dimmed and I just ignored eye contact.

"Umm he had some other things to attend to and he told me to go ahead." I lied, she seemed to believe me and nodded her head.

"Well alright, your father's just taking a shower and your brothers are in their rooms. We're gonna have dinner in a while, you still up to eat? Or are you full because of ice cream?" She asked 

"Not really in the mood, Mom. I'll just get some rest, I'm pretty tired." I said and stood up

"Oh alright, is there something wrong?" She asked

"Nothing, Mom. Just tired." I said, she nodded her head and gave me a hug.

"Okay, goodnight." She said as we pulled away, I forced out a smile and strolled up the stairs and into my room.

"What the hell is happening to me?" I whispered to myself as I entered my room. I closed the door and got on my bed. Seriously though, what the hell is happening to me? I've never been so affected by Nolan's actions and words, but now it seems like the entire world is crashing down whenever he offends me. 

I decided to get up and get ready for bed. I went to my bathroom and did my usual routine and got dressed for bed. I got in a pair of short shorts and one of Ashton's shirts that I stole. I smiled to myself as his scent hit my nose. I've always liked the scent of my twin, it makes me feel so comforted and safe, it makes me feel like he's there even though he really isn't. I went back to my room and got in bed. I opened my fairy lights and closed the lights. I got my speakers and played some soft music to help me fall asleep. I closed my eyes and let sleep come to me.

As I felt the sleep come to me, I heard the door open. I kept my eyes closed as I was about to fall asleep. I heard footsteps walk towards my bed, and I felt the bed dip. I felt him play with my hair and heard him sigh.

"I'm sorry if I acted like such a jerk and a pig, Le Le. I promise that I'll make it up to you, and this time I mean it." I heard Nolan's voice say, and then I felt his kiss my forehead. He mumbled something else, but I didn't quite hear it because I drifted off to sleep.

Nolan's POV:

I followed Ashley and the guy back at her house and saw her get in. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. 

"God, Nolan. You're so stupid." I said to myself, I waited for a few minutes before I went in the house myself. I have always considered this house as my home, as well as Dale. We practically live here. 

"Hey Nolan, you ready for dinner?" I heard Ma ask as she exited the kitchen.

"Yeah, did Ashley get home safely?" I asked acting completely clueless so that I won't look like I was following her or anything.

"Yeah, a guy brought her home. She's upstairs now, she says she doesn't wanna eat dinner. She was pretty worn out." She said, I felt the guilt seep through and I just sighed.

"Alright, is Ashton around?" I asked

"Yeah, he's in his room. You should probably call him down, dinner's gonna be ready soon." She said, I nodded my head and ran up the stairs to Ashton's room.

*After Dinner*  

"Thanks for dinner, Ma. I'm gonna head up, I'm kinda tired now." I said

"Alright, sleep well." Ma said

"Goodnight, Nolan. Please take Dale with you, him and Nathan aren't gonna be able to sleep tonight if they're together because they just discovered a new game and they're totally addicted with it now." Pa said

"Alright Pa, come on Dale." I said to him, he groaned and reluctantly walked towards me. 

"Night, man. See you tomorrow." Ashton said, I nodded my head and Dale and I went to our room.

"You go freshen up, I'm just gonna go do something real quick." I told him, he nodded his head and walked towards the bathroom. I went out the room and went to Ashley's room. I walked in expecting to see her asleep, and sure enough she was. She was laying quietly in bed with soft music playing in the background. I walked towards her bed and sat beside her. I began playing with her hair and sighed.

"I'm sorry if I acted like such a jerk and a pig, Le Le. I promise that I'll make it up to you, and this time I mean it." I said and kissed her forehead. 

"I love you, Ashley. I really do." I mumbled
