Ashley's POV: 

"Alright, the bell's gonna ring in a few minutes. We have to go now, our classroom is in the other building." Hazel said, I nodded my head and we both made our way to class.

Once we got into class, Hazel and I went to the back and sat down. We usually sit at the back, because then we can sit back and watch everyone. It's weird, but people do stupid things and it's fun to watch. A few minutes later, Matt walked in looking at his schedule and then looked up at the door. He then looked around and his gaze landed on us, he smiled and walked over to us.

"Hey, gosh this school is big. I literally almost got lost, but it's a good thing there are a few nice people to show me the way." He said as he sat down beside me.

"Oh right, I totally forgot that you're new here." I said mentally face palming myself.

"It's all good, Ash." He assured giving me a smile, I returned the smile and heard the bell ring. Everyone settled down and sat down on their seats. A few seconds later, our teacher, Mr Owens,  walked in. He started to introduce himself when the door opened and revealed Nolan. Great, he's in this class. Just prefect.

"You're late Mr Price." Mr Owens said, Nolan just gave a smirk.

"Nice of you to remember me, Mr O." He said, Mr Owens' face turned into a scowl and he ran a hand down his face.

"Just sit down, Mr Price." He said, Nolan chuckled lightly and looked around until his gaze landed on me. This can't be good. He started walking towards me and sat in the seat in front of me, great, just great. 

"Hey Le Le." He said, I faked a smile and turned my attention back at Mr Owens. 

*After class* 

During the whole class, Nolan was trying to talk to me but I just ignored him and kept my attention on Mr Owen pretending that I was listening. When the bell finally rang, I jumped out of my seat and grabbed my stuff leaving the classroom not even bothering to wait for Matt and Hazel. He just annoys the piss out of me. 

"Hey, what was up with that?" I heard Matt's voice say, I turned around and saw him and Hazel walking up to me.

"Nolan, he just likes to annoy the heck out of me. He's so annoying!" I exclaimed

"I thought that you'd be used to his annoyingness seeing as he practically lives with you." Hazel said 

"Yeah, but when we're here at school he acts like such a jerk, meanwhile when he's at home he's like a totally different guy." I said clearly exasperated. 

"It's just who he is, Ash." Matt said rubbing my arm. I sighed and we dropped the subject. 

I just wish I'd understand that guy.

*Lunch Time* 

Finally! Lunch, I'm starving. Matt, Hazel and I walked in and went to Hazel and I's usual table. I sat down and turned to Matt.

"Matty, can you buy me food? I don't wanna stand in line." I asked, he rolled his eyes and stood up.

"Fine" He huffed and walked away with Hazel. I smiled in triumph and brought my phone out to see a text message from Ashton.

Ashyton: Hey baby sis, I might be a little late to lunch. There's a bit of a situation, save Nolan and I a seat. The other guys should probably be there in a while. NO FLIRTING, I MEAN IT ASHLEY. 

I rolled my eyes at him and typed in a reply. How dare he call me baby sis? I'm literally like 2 minutes younger than him. He just had to push pass me to get out first, jerk. Just kidding, I love that guy. 

Ashley: Yeah sure whatever, and I can flirt with whoever I want ;) Love ya, bro! 

Ashyton: ASHLEY MATTHEWS! 

I laughed and shut my phone off not bothering to answer him, just to annoy him. The situation he's talking about is probably with a girl, I bet both of them got girls to hook up with. I strongly disapprove of my brother's actions and I could care less for Nolan, but it's what they do and there's really nothing I can do.

I was so sucked into my thoughts that I didn't hear the guys sit down until Elijah waved his hand on my face. 

"You alright there, Ash? You seem deep in thought." He said, I looked around and saw that they were all here. 

"Oh hey guys, didn't realise you were here." I said

"Yeah, that's because you were stuck in your La La land, you alright?" Mason asked, I chuckled and saw Matt and Hazel walk over to us. They sat down and Hazel and the guys exchanged hello's while Matt passed me a tray of food.

"Oh yeah, guys this is my best friend from New York, Matt. Matt these are Elijah, Mason, Jackson, Ethan, Connor, Xander, Asher, and Aiden. They're from the basketball team along with Ashton and Nolan." I said pointing to each guy and they all exchanged their hello's. 

Okay these guys are Ashton and Nolan's friends from the team and they're pretty cool guys to hang out with. They became pretty close friends of mine as we'll. They're pretty cute too, that's a big bonus. 

"Where's Ashton and Nolan?" Connor asked 

"They're having a situation, and by situation it's obviously that it's a girl situation." I said, they all laughed and Hazel and I rolled our eyes.

"Man whores." Hazel grumbled

 "Tell me about it." Then, we heard the cafeteria doors open and in came my lovely twin brother and his oh so 'kind' best friend. 

"And here they come." I mumbled, they made their way to our table with their messy hair and Nolan had lip stick smeared on his lips, whores I tell you.

"I told you they were with girls." I said, they walked over to me and Ashton sat beside me while Nolan sat beside him.

"Why didn't you reply to my text? Were any of you flirting with my sister?" Ashton asked the guys as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Is this your every day routine?" Matt whispered in my ear.

"Yeah, it was pretty much like this last school year, but now more girls are throwing themselves at them because they're seniors." I whispered back and he just nodded his head.

"Dude, chill out. I doubt any of the girls would flirt with her. Look at the way she eats." Nolan said gesturing to my tray. I don't know why but I somehow felt insecure. I carefully placed the piece of chicken back on the plate and took a sip of my water. Hazel looked at me with pity, but I just ignored her. 

Why? Why is he such a fucking jerk?
