Ashton's POV:

"What the hell was that for?" Nolan exclaimed and held his nose that was beginning to bruise, I looked pass him and saw Sophie looking at us. I looked back at Nolan and grabbed his arm and dragged him outside closing the door in the process.

"You seriously brought Sophie to your house when Ashley is already mad at you because of her, are you trying to hurt me sister on purpose?!" I asked him in frustration, he sighed and sat down on a footstep.

"I don't know anymore, Ashton. Ashley doesn't wanna talk to me, she doesn't even wanna look at me, what do you expect me to do?" He asked, I raised an eyebrow at him and my fist was ready to punch the idiocy out of him.

"Are you fucking serious?! Obviously bringing the girl who caused your conflict to you house isn't going to do you any good! Were you even thinking?" I asked him, he looked up at me and then looked at our house.

"Does she know?" He asked, I crossed my arms over my chest and nodded my head.

"Is she mad?" He asked again, I sighed and sat down next to him.

"She's not even mad anymore, she's just upset. When she found out that Sophie was here, her face remained emotionless and just didn't say anything other than 'He's with her again'. I've never seen my sister like this and it hurts me that I didn't do anything to help her, you're my best friend Nolan but Ashley's my twin sister and you're really being an oblivious asshole." I said, he rubbed his face and looked away.

"Is she okay?" He asked

"She's sleeping right now, but she's just really upset." I said, he looked back and stared at the door.

"I should probably tell Sophie she needs to go home, I really need to talk to Ashley." He said, I nodded my head and we both stood up. He opened the door and I waited for him to come up,  few minutes later I saw him walk out with Sophie. My blood slightly started to boil and I saw her look at me, she smiled and gave me a wave.

"Hi Ashton!" She exclaimed and I just faked a smile and waved back.

"Hey" I said, I looked at Nolan and gave a look kind of like telling him to make her leave. I know I may sound like a jerk right now, but she and Nolan caused my sister so much pain and I am really not happy about it.

"Thanks for having me over, I really love your parents." Sophie said to Nolan and I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, I think they really like you." Nolan said and at this point, I just want to gag. I couldn't take anymore of this and I just walked away from them and walked over to my house. I opened the door and walked inside, I saw Mom in the living room and I saw the boys outside in the backyard. I decided to go up and check on Ashley, I walked up the stairs and went to her room to see her still sleeping which is good.

I walked over to her and gently sat beside her, I sighed and looked out her window and sat Sophie's car driving away. I looked back at Ashley and saw her tear stained cheeks and I was mad at Nolan all over again. I heard the door open downstairs and heard voices, Nolan's probably here. A few minutes later, I heard the voices stop and heard footsteps walk up the stairs and near Ashley's room. The door opened and I saw Nolan walk in, he looked at Ashley and I could see the regret in his eyes but it still wasn't enough for me.

"Is she okay?" He asked again and I just rolled my eyes and pointed at Ashley.

"How do you think she is? My sister is upset because of you." I said in a low voice trying not to wake her up. He bowed his head in shame and I just sighed, I looked at Ashley and then look back at Nolan.

"Okay look, I'll let you stay here for a while. I got some stuff I need to do and I know that you two need to talk, but please don't wake her up just yet. Let her sleep, she's pretty tired, you two can talk when she wakes up." I said, he looked up and looked at me.

"Really?" He asked and I reluctantly nodded my head.

"As much as I don't want you around her just yet, I can see the regret in your eyes." I said, he smiled a little and nodded his head.

"I'm really gonna try to distance myself from Sophie as much as I can." He said and I felt more at ease now that he says that, but knowing Nolan it's not going to be easy for him but I know he's going to try his best.

"Okay, I'm gonna go now, don't do anything stupid please." I said and he nodded his head once again. I looked at Ashley one more time before walking over to the door, Nolan walked over to her bed and sat beside her and brushed the hair out of her eyes; I looked away and walked out the door. When I walked out Ashley's room, I was greeted by Nathan and Dale.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked them, they both peeked in Ashley's room as I haven't closed the door yet. I quickly closed it and looked back at them.

"What happened to Ashley?" Nathan asked, he was obviously worried about Ashley as it was his first time seeing her in that state. Ashley was usually very happy and outgoing; she usually never cries around Nathan and Dale just because she wants to be this strong role model for them.

"She's fine, she and Nolan just had a small argument." I said, he and Dale looked at each other before looking back at me.

"Does that Sophie girl have anything to do with this argument?" Dale asked, I cringed at the mention of her name and I just sighed and nodded my head.

"Did- Did Nolan cheat on Ashley?" Dale stuttered out, I was taken aback with his question but then I thought about it. It's technically not counted as cheating, but if that jerk ever dares to cheat on my sister I'll tear him to pieces.

"No, he didn't cheat on Ashley. Nolan and Sophie are just friends, close friends actually even though it's been like two days but yeah, they're friends." I explained, Dale slowly nodded his head and I looked at Nathan who suddenly started staring off into space.

"Nathan?" I called out his name, he snapped out of his gaze and looked at me.

"Is Ashley okay?" He asked, I bent down to his level and looked him in the eye.

"Nate, you know our sister; she's very independent and strong. She and Nolan can oversee this argument, she's going to be fine." I said to him, he nodded his head and I stood back up.

"You'll see her later, she's just taking a nap right now she's pretty tired." I said, they nodded their heads and both ran off to Nathan's room and I went to mine.

I just hope I'm right and they'll both oversee this argument, because I'm really going to beat up Nolan if not.

Okay, I am aware I haven't updated in a while but here's chapter 47 and chapter 48 will be out in a few minutes. I do believe I owe you guys two updates for being later, so yeah I'm publishing two chapters! Again, My Twin's Best Friend is coming to an end in a few chapters so stay tuned for that!
