Ashley's POV:

Ashton and I walked over to the table and Nolan turned to look at me, he gently pushed Sophie away and I just rolled my eyes.

"Jerk" I heard Ashton say under his breath, we both sat down and I sat the farthest I can from Nolan. I was beside Hazel and Ashton was on my right while Paisley was beside him, I felt Nolan staring at me but I just ignored him. I looked at Sophie and saw her looking at Nolan practically begging for his attention and I internally laughed.

"I find it funny that she's basically begging for his attention while all his attention is on you." Ashton said in a whisper tone and I just snickered.

"I was thinking the exact same thing." I said in the same tone and he laughed lightly, I glanced at Nolan and he was still looking at me and I just sighed and looked away.

"He won't stop staring." I whispered to Hazel, she looked at Nolan and rolled her eyes.

"Let him stare but don't give him the time of day, that jerks deserves it." She said in a quiet tone and I just placed my chin on my palm and observed everyone in the cafeteria.

School ended about a few minutes ago and I'm not feeling the mood to walk. I can't ride with Ashton because then Nolan would be there so I'm either going to ride with Matt and Elijah or Julian, Easton, and Ezekiel. I walked around trying to look for either Matt or Elijah but I can't seem to find them anywhere. I huffed and sat down and leaned my back on the wall and took out my phone. I clicked on Matt's contact and tried calling him but he wasn't answering, I did the same with Julian and the other guys but they didn't answer either.

I sighed and leaned my head on the wall, I heard my phone ring and looked at the caller ID and saw Ashton calling. I slid answer and put my phone to my ear.

Ashton: Hey sis, where are you?

Ashley: I was trying to look for Matt or Julian but I can't find them.

Ashton: Why don't you ride with me instead?

Ashley: Well because you're with Nolan

Ashton: He's not with me, I think he rode with someone else. He texted me and said he was riding with a friend.

Ashley: Friend? What friend? Who?

Ashton: I saw him walk out of school with Sophie

When I heard him say her name, my heart dropped and I didn't know whether to be mad or just simply upset. Is he this dense? What the hell is wrong with him? He already knows that she's the reason I'm not talking to him yet he still chooses to go with her.

Ashton: Ashley? Are you there?

Ashley: I'll see you in a few minutes.

I ended the call and shoved my phone in my pocket before standing up. By now, the halls were empty and pretty much everyone was gone. I made my way out of school and saw Ashton and I's cars, I walked towards our car and knocked on the window. He looked at me and opened the door, I got in and slammed the door shut and leaned on my seat.

"Are you okay?" I heard Ashton ask and crossed my arms over my chest and looked out the window avoiding eye contact.

"I'm fine, let's just go home." I said, I heard him sigh and heard him start the car and drive away from the school parking lot.

My thoughts drifted back to Nolan and Sophie and I felt my eyes tear up but I held them back so Ashton wouldn't see. I just can't believe that even after I ignored him and he clearly knows I'm mad at him, he still had the audacity to go with Sophie. Sophie, this girl knows that Nolan has a girlfriend yet she still doesn't back off. I get that it's her second day here and all and that she needs friends, but could she tone down the neediness and flirting, the guy clearly has a girlfriend. She pissed me off to the point where I just want to bang my head against the wall.

"Ashley, we're here." I heard Ashton say and I looked around and sure enough we were home, I didn't even notice. I guess my mind was too occupied to pay attention to my surroundings. When I got out of the car, I saw a car in Nolan's driveway and I immediately had a bad feeling about it. I ignored the feeling and walked inside with Ashton, we opened the door and I heard Mom's voice in the kitchen. Ashton and I walked to the kitchen and saw Mom with Nathan and Dale, I saw Bailey by Mom's feet and a smile made it's way to my face.

"Hi baby" I said, his eyes perked up and he looked in my direction. His little tongue stuck out and stood up before running on his little legs to me, I laughed and dropped my bag before gathering him in my arms. He licked my face and I just grimaced as his tongue hit my face, I heard Ashton laugh and I just wiped the saliva using the hem of my shirt and looked at the dog in my arms.

"I sure hope you were good for Mom while I was gone." I said and looked at Mom, she smiled and walked over to Ashton and I.

"He was a good little pup." She said and placed a kiss on Ashton and I's forehead as a greeting.

"How was your school?" She asked, Ashton and I walked over to Nathan and Dale and sat beside them with me ruffling their hairs making them groan.

"Ashley!" They both whined and I just laughed and heard Bailey release a small bark.

"School was pretty good, Nolan happened though." Ashton said and I just threw him a glare.

"Nolan? What did he do this time?" Dale asked, I looked at him and just now noticed how much he looked like his brother and sighed. I miss Nolan, I really do, but with what he's doing I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do anymore. I'm starting to rethink my decision with the whole giving him a chance, but I don't want to regret anything because I love Nolan, I really do; but with this whole thing going on with Sophie, what the hell am I supposed to do?

"A little birdie called Sophie." Ashton said and looked down at Bailey to see him looking at me with his big eyes, I smiled a little and scratched him behind his ears making him lean into my hand.

"Did you just say Sophie?" Nathan asked, Ashton nodded his head and Nathan and Dale looked at each other.

"We just came back from my house and we saw Nolan with a girl, I heard him introduce her to Mom and Dad as her friend and I heard her name was Sophie." Dale said and I froze, did I just hear that right?

"What?" I whispered out, I saw Mom whisper something to the boys and Mom guided them both out of the kitchen. She walked back in and looked at Ashton and then at me and at this point, I. felt my heart drop to my toes.

Ashton's POV:

"He's with her...again." Ashley said with a blank face, my emotions were all over to place. A part of me felt bad for my sister and then the other part wants to punch the hell out of Nolan. I slowly got up from my seat and took Bailey from her and gently put him down, he sat on the ground and innocently looked up at Ashley who remained emotionless.

"Hon, maybe you should go up to your room." Mom suggested, I looked at her and she signaled me to take her to her room. I looked at Ashley and she was just staring off, I sighed and grabbed her hand and guided her to stand up. She did so and looked at me, when I looked into her eyes all I saw were tears and my heart broke for my sister.

I helped her up the stairs and into her room, I remembered she was still in her school outfit and I got her a pair of shorts and then grabbed my hoodie from her closet that she always keeps. I gave them to her and she looked at me.

"You have to change, those clothes aren't comfortable." I said, she nodded her head and grabbed the clothes I gave her and walked to her bathroom. I sat on her bed and waited for her to finish, I took out my phone and sent Paisley a text.

Ashton: Hey babe, you got home safely?

Paisley: Yeah, I just got home. How's Ashley?

Ashton: Not doing too well, we just found out that Sophie is at Nolan's house right now.

Paisley: What the hell? Are you serious? What's she doing there?

Ashton: I don't know, Nolan told me that a friend was dropping him off at home and then I saw him walk out of school with Sophie. I didn't know he was taking her next door.

Paisley: That boy is so gonna get it.

Paisley: Tell Ashley to call me if she needs me, I need to help my mom with something.

Ashton: Okay babe, I'll call you later.

Paisley: Okay, I love you

I smiled at the text message and typed in a reply.

Ashton: I love you too, talk to you later.

I shut my phone off and heard the bathroom door open, Ashley walked out and I saw that her eyes were red and puffy. I frowned and walked towards her and wrapped my arms around her, she buried her face in my chest and started sobbing. When her sobs died down a little, I guided her to her bed and she got under the covers and looked at me.

"Please talk to Nolan for me." She said in a small voice, I gave a small smile and nodded my head. She closed her eyes and soon enough, she was asleep. I kissed her forehead and turned around making my way out of her room and down the stairs. I walked out the house and made my way next door, I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer the door. A few seconds later, the door opened and I saw the guy I was looking for.

"Hey Ash, wha-" He started to say but I cut him off with a punch.

Serves him right for hurting my sister
