Ashley's POV:

"I can't believe him, he let her kiss his cheek. What the hell is wrong with him?" Hazel exclaimed as she continued to rub my back, my face remained emotionless because I just didn't know what to do at this point. Paisley just finished talking to Ashton, she closed the door and walked back to us.

"What did he say?" I asked her

"He wanted to talk to you." She said and I sighed and nodded my head looking back down at my shoes, then I heard voices from outside.

"That sounds like Ashton and Nolan." Paisley said, we listened to their conversation and I could tell that Ashton was pretty mad at Nolan with the tone of his voice.

"You could always say no, Nolan; but you didn't. You chose to go with girl you barely know and is the reason as to why Ashley was mad at you in the first place than comforting your girlfriend for the stupid shit you did and is by the way in this damn bathroom with tears streaming down her face yet she had no emotion whatsoever. Do you know how much it hurts to see my sister in pain? It hurts a lot Nolan and knowing that I had somehow caused the pain she's going through right now just makes it worse; so thanks a lot jackass." He said and I heard footsteps and assumed that he walked away.

"Is he forgive?" Hazel asked, I looked at her and let out a small smile.

"He's my brother; I'm going to forgive him either way, Haze." I said, they both nodded their heads and gave me a smile.

"What about Nolan?" She asked wearily, I sighed and rubbed my face wiping the tears that shed in the process.

"I'll probably talk to him later, maybe Ashton knocked some sense into him by now." I said, the bell rang and I cleaned up my face before I we decided that it was time to go to class. When I opened the door I was met by the person I didn't want to see and yes, it's Nolan.

"Ashley" He said, I held a hand up and shook my head.

"Not now" I said and walked away

"She said she'll talk to you later, Nolan. For now please give her time and leave her alone." I heard Paisley say before running to my side along with Hazel. I looked back at him for a second and saw him with his head against the bathroom door. For a second, I felt bad but then the image of Sophie kissing his cheek and her hugging him flashed before my eyes and I frowned making me look back in front of me.

"Are you okay?" Hazel asked, I looked at her and nodded my head.

"I'm fine, cmon let's go to class." I said and linked my arms with theirs and walked to class.

*Lunch*

Lunch came quicker than I expected and I took a deep breath before walking to the cafeteria. The girls and the guys were already there but there was no sign of Ashton or Nolan. I walked walked towards the table and saw that girls looking in my direction; they shot me a smile and waved at me.

"Hey Ash, the girls told us about what happened." Xander said when I got to the table, I looked at the girls and raised an eyebrow.

"Seriously?" I asked and they just gave me sheepish smiles.

"They're your friends too, they deserve to know about Nolan's idiocy." Hazel said with a shrug, I rolled my eyes and sat beside Matt. I placed my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me.

"You good?" He asked, I sighed and looked at our friends talking and laughing with each other. Elijah was beside Matt and he looked at me in concern.

"Guys I'm fine, don't worry about it too much." I told them, they didn't look convinced but nodded their heads anyways.

"Ash you need to eat." Hudson sad, I sat up straight and shook my head.

"I'm not really hungry." I said and placed my chin on the palm of my head and just began to stare off into space.

"We don't care if you're not hungry, you need to eat something Ashley." Elijah said, I looked at him and extended his arm to me and saw him holding a sandwich. I smiled and took it from him and decided to have a small bite.

"Thanks" I said and he just smiled in return

"Look who decided to show up, he brought someone too." Mason said pointing at the cafeteria doors with his thumb. I looked to where he was pointing and saw Nolan with Sophie by his side clinging onto his arm.

What the hell?

"Does she ever leave him alone?" Matt blurted out, I sighed and Nolan and I made eye contact. I quickly looked away and ate the sandwich that Elijah gave me.

"They're coming here" Julian said and by now I was finished with my sandwich, okay so maybe I was a little hungry.

"Hey guys!!" I heard her voice exclaim, is it bad that her voice annoys the hell out of me? The guys said a 'hey' back and the girls just faked a smile while I looked away.

"Ashley" I heard him say my name but I just ignored him, I felt my phone vibrate and pulled it out from my pocket. I unlocked it to see a text from Ashton.

Ashton: hey sis, can we talk?

Ashley: when and where?

Ashton: Right now, out in the field

Ashley: Give me a minute, I'll be there

Ashton: Okay, love you sis

I smiled at the message and texted him back an 'i love you too' before gathering my stuff and standing up.

"Where are you going?" I heard Nolan ask, I briefly looked at him but then looked at the girls.

"I'll be back; I'm going to talk to Ashton." I said, they both nodded their heads and I started walking away but then someone grabbed my wrist.

"Babe, I really need to talk to you." He said, I pulled my hand away from his grasp and looked him in the eye.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I don't really want to talk to you right now. I really don't want to interrupt anything here, now excuse me; I have to talk to my brother." I said looking at Sophie and then back at him. I then turned around and made my way out of the cafeteria and to the field. When I got outside, I saw a figure up by the bleachers and knew right away that it was Ashton. I took a deep breath before walking over to the bleachers and made my up to Ashton; he heard me and looked down at me. He smiled and offered me a hand, I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up and sat beside him.

"Ash-" He started but I cut him off with a hug.

"I heard what you said to Nolan earlier outside the bathroom." I said, he wrapped his arms around me and squeezed me tight.

"I meant every single word of it, Ash. Nolan may be my best friend but you're my sister, my twin sister. I can never risk our relationship because of some stupid thing that Nolan did." He said, I pulled away from the hug and smiled.

"I know, I can never stay mad at you for more than a day and you know that." I said and he laughed and nodded his head.

"I know that" He said and I just laughed

"So where's Nolan?" He asked and I just sighed and placed my head on his shoulder.

"He's at the table with everyone else and Sophie." I said, he wrapped his arms around me ans sighed as well.

"I guess he's just really oblivious, you know how us guys are." He said, I smiled lightly and nodded my head.

"Sophie was literally clinging onto his arm when they walked in the cafeteria and I wanted to scratch my eyes out." I said, he laughed and I looked up and saw him shale his head.

"If I saw that, I would've." He said, I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him and then a thought popped in my head.

"What do you think our parents are like? Why do you think they were at the house that one time?" I asked him, I sat up straight and looked at him. He seemed taken aback with my question but answered anyways.

"I don't really know, but Mom did say that when they raised her that they were good role models. They loved her like their own and not just their niece, it was like she was their daughter as well." He said, I smiled and thought about Mom.

There was only one memory I could remember with our real parents and Mom back when we were younger. It was a simple party for Ashton and I, Mom had a few of her friends over as well because our friends then had older siblings. It was a very small memory but I remember when it was time for Ashton and I to blow the cake, Calvin had me in his arms while Lorraine had Ashton in her arms since we couldn't quite reach the cake. Mom was by my side the entire time and then once we blew the cake and heard people clap our cakes were smashed on our faces. That was all I remember, but it was a really good memory. I always wondered who those people were, but now I know, their our real parents.

I shook the thoughts out of my head and looked back at Ashton.

"Do you think we should give them a chance?" I asked him, he let out a small smile and nodded his head.

"Yeah, they are our real parents after all. It wasn't their fault that they were in a car crash, we should give them a chance to be parents. We're almost in college, sis, we're going to be leaving home and live our lives by ourselves." He said, I smiled back and nodded my head

"Yeah, you're right, we should give them a chance." I said, he nodded his head again and looked straight ahead.

"We should probably get inside, classes start in a while." I said, we both gathered our stuff and walked down the bleachers together.

My thoughts drifted back to our real parents and I can't help but feel excited to get to know them more.

A smile made it's way to my face and Ashton looked at me.

"What are you smiling about?" He chuckled as we walked through the halls

"Nothing, just excited to get to know our real parents." I said, he smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close. We got to the cafeteria and when I looked over at our table, I saw Sophie stuck to Nolan's side and Nolan doing absolutely nothing about it. I sighed and looked up at Ashton to see him already looking down at me.

"Don't worry, everything will be okay." He said, I sighed and nodded my head.

I just hope he's right.
