Ashley's POV:

It's the middle of lunch time and still no sign of Elijah and Matthew. I'm getting worried and I'm a bit weirded out because I never knew those two hung out. Besides, Elijah is always too busy with his basketball, what the hell is going on?

I guess Nolan noticed me looking at the cafeteria doors because he grabbed my hand, I looked up at him and hd gave me a confused look.

"What's wrong? Why do you keep looking at the doors?" He asked, I sighed and squeezed his hand.

"I haven't seen Matthew the whole day, I mean yeah I saw him but I never got to talk to him and I'm worried. Elijah isn't here either and I find that so weird." I explained, he nodded his head and looked at the others.

"Hey guys, we're gonna go look for Matthew and Elijah." He announced, everyone looked at us and nodded their heads.

"I know that Matt's class before lunch was Chemistry, so he's probably just down the hall." Paisley said, I nodded my head and thanked her. Nolan got our bags and even though I insisted on carrying my own bag, he didn't listen to me.

"I wonder why they're not in lunch." I pondered, Nolan wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my head.

"Don't worry, babe. I'm sure they're doing just fine." He said, I sighed and nodded my head.

"Yeah, you're right. But what if something's up with Matthew that I didn't know? What if-?" Nolan stopped walking causing me to stop talking.

"Babe, trust me, they're doing just fine, look." He said looking at the classroom we stopped in front of.

"What do you mean? Do you see-" I started but cut myself off when I saw what he was looking at.

We found Matthew and Elijah.

They were together, in the classroom.

But they were making out.

"You're seeing this too, right?" I asked him rubbing my eyes checking to see if it was really them.

"Yeah, I see them too." He said, we looked away from the two boys and I was still in a shock state.

"What the hell did I just see?" Nolan exclaimed, I grabbed his hand and squeezed it.

"How could I have not known?" I muttered out, the thought if Matthew being gay never crossed my mind. Hs was always flirting with girls and he was even in a relationship. This didn't shock me too much, but him and Elijah shocked me a lot.

Elijah does not seem like that, I mean no offense or anything, but he's a player. I'm not trying to be mean, but I just don't want my best friend to get hurt. I didn't even know he swung that way...

I felt Nolan rub my arm, I shook myself out of my thoughts and looked at him.

"What are we gonna do now?" He asked me, I looked back at Matt and Elijah and they were still sucking each other's faces off. I looked back at Nolan and shrugged my shoulders.

"Honestlt, I don't even know." I said, he kissed my forehead and pulled me in a hug.

"Do we tell the others?" He asked

"It's not our secret to tell, Nolan." I said, he nodded his head and pulled away.

"Maybe we should talk to Matt and Elijah." He suggested

"Right now?" I asked him, he nodded his head and looked at his watch.

"Yeah, lunch doesn't end for another 15 minutes." He said, I looked back at Matt and Elijah and they stopped making out and were now talking to each other. I looked back at Nolan and nodded my head.

"I guess you're right, Matt is my best friend and I need to know why he didn't tell me about this." I said, he smiled and looked at the two guys, he knocked on the door and I saw their heads snap in our direction. Matt and I made eye contact and his eyes held guilt, Elijah walked towards the door and opened it.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked quietly, Nolan and I exchanged looks and looked back at him.

"Ashley and I were looking for the two of you because she was getting worried and we haven't seen you all day." Nolan explained

"Did you see anything?" Matt asked, I looked at him and sighed.

"Well we just saw you two making out, nothing much." I said sarcastically, he bowed his head and played with his fingers.

"Look, we can explain." Elijah said, I narrowed my eyed and took a step forward.

"Fine, then explain what the hell is going on here!" I exclaimed, Nolan stood beside me and wrapped an arm around my waist. I looked up at him and he had this look on his face telling me to calm down, and I did.

"Ashley, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I just didn't know how to tell you and how you'd react. I asked Elihag if we could keep it a secret for now because I just wasn't ready yet. I wanted to tell you...but I didn't want you to judge me." Matt explaineed, by the end of explanation I was shocked.

He thought I was gonna judge him, my best friend that I've known all my life was afraid to tell me one of the most important thing in his life because he thought I was gonna judge him.

"Matt, we've been best friends since we were little, along with Ashton. We could never judge you, we've stuck by each other for years." I said to him, Elijah had his arm wrapped around Matt's waist and Matt had his head down in shame.

"I understand that now, I'm really sorry, Ashley." He said, I looked at up Nolan and he had an assuring look on his face and kissed my temple.

I released from Nolan's arms and took a step towards Matt, Elijah removed his arm from Matt's waist and Matt looked up and met my eye.

"Why did you lie to me?" I asked him remembering our conversation back in my room when he first got here.

"You told me you liked a girl, but she was out of your league. Is that true? Did you already know about your sexuality then?" I asked him, he sighed and looked me in the eye.

"I loved you...at least I thought I did." He said, and my jaw dropped.

"Excuse me, what?" I asked him, he laughed lightly and ran his fingers through his hair.

"I had this ridiculous crush on you up until I met Elijah for the first time. My crush on you was so bad that I thought that I had loved you, and when I heard you talk about Nolan all the time, I got hurt...really hurt. I told Ashton about my little crush on you and he told me to wait it out, I got fed up when I saw you two being all lovey dovey with each other.

One day, I was out in the park and then I saw Elijah, I forgot if we met before or not, but I remember thinking that he was really cute despite still thinking I was straight. Elijah and I hit it off, about a week into talking to him, I realized I wanted it to be more and that's when I came to the conclusion that I liked him and that I was gay. I told him and thankfully he felt the same way, he asked me out and I asked him if we could keep it secret for a while until I was ready to come out and he agreed and here we are."

While he was explaining, I saw the way that Elijah was lookibg at him and he looked at him like a precious treasure and my heart felt happy for my best friend. Matt looked at me with guilt and hope in his eyes I sighed.

"I've always wanted a gay best friend." I said, he smiled and pulled me in a hug. I wrapped my arm around him and smiled in his chest.

"Thank you" He said, we pulled away and my smile widened.

"You're my best friend, Matt. I'll always have your back, Hon." I said, I looked at Elijah and gave him a smile. I opened my arms for a hug and and he chuckled.

"Give me a hug, you idiot." I said, he wrapped his arms around me and we swayed back and forth.

"Be good to him or I will castrate you." I whispered in his ear, we pulled away and he had a look or surprise on his face and I pulled on an innocent face. I went back to Nolan and he wrapped his arm around my waist as usual and looked down at me.

"Now that this is over with, can we go back to the cafeteria? I still need in my stomach and I'm pretty sure you two haven't eaten yet, unless you're full from each other." Nolan teased and Matt had a tint of blush on his cheeks while Elijah chuckled.

"Alright, let's go." I said and we began to walk and and made our way to the cafeteria with our time left for lunch.
