Ashley's POV: *The Next Day* 

I woke up the next day feeling someone breathing over my face. I opened my eyes to see Hazel literally 2 inches away from my face.

"ASHLEY! You're awake!" She said and pulled me in a hug, I laughed and wrapped my arms around her.

"Jeez Hazel, how long were you staring at me like that?" I asked, we pulled away and she gave me a sheepish grin.

"About 10 minutes." She said

"Typical Hazel." I said and shook my head. I looked around to see that Matt, Julian, Hudson, Easton, and Ezekiel were also here. Of course, Nolan and Ashton were also here. I still can't get the scene from yesterday out of my head. Nolan's words keep swarming my thoughts. 

'I'll fight for you, Ashley.' 

If I were in my Freshman year, I would be dead, but now I'm just really shocked.

"Hey Ashley, how are you feeling?" Ezekiel asked, I looked at him and gave him a smile.

"I'm feeling fine, just a little sore in the rib area." I said, he nodded his head and gave me a smile.

"When do you get released?" Easton asked

"I get released tomorrow, thank god." I said

"Well that's great." He said, I nodded my head and smiled. I looked over to Ashton and gave him a confused look.

"Where's Mom and Dad?" I asked him 

"Mom and Dad went to bring Nathan and Dale home. They also went to change and shower, they will be back probably lunch time." He said, I nodded my head and I glanced at Nolan who was smiling at me. I had to resist blushing and looked away from him.

"Well Nolan and I are gonna head out, we're gonna get something for you to eat for breakfast." Ashton said, I looked at him and nodded my head. 

"Okay Ashley, what's up with you and Nolan? I can feel the tension a mile away." Julian asked, I looked at him and he just gave me a knowing look.

"How did you know?" I asked covering my face with my hands.

"Well considering the way he looks at you and the way you were desperately trying to hide your blush, which by they way wasn't so good because we could see the light shade of pink on you cheeks, but anyways. I could tell that something happened, so spill. What the hell happened?" He said, I uncovered my face and just looked at him.

"Damn, you're good." I said, he smirked and let out a laugh.

"Wait, what does he mean? I don't get it, why does he know something and I don't. I thought I was your best friend." Hazel whined, I rolled my eyes and smacked her arm. She glared at me and rubbed her arm.

"Jeez, girl. You can hit." She said while rubbing her arm.

"So what did happened to you and Nolan?" Matt asked, I sighed and sat up a little bit, I winced and Matt rushed to help me out. 

"Thanks" I said as I finally got in the position I wanted, he smiled and nodded his head. I looked back at the guys and took  a deep breath.

"It turns out that Nolan likes me." I said

"I KNEW IT!" They all exclaimed simultaneously, they all looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

"That was so weird." I chuckled

"How did you guys know?" I asked them as they calmed down from their laughing fit.

"You just don't see the way he looks at you, don't you?" Easton asked and I just shook my head.

"Girl, you're so blind!" Hazel exclaimed

"It's clear as glass that Nolan likes you, it's pretty obvious." She said, was it really that obvious? And was I just that oblivious?

"Everyone can see it except you, Ash." Matt said, I looked at him and he just gave me a smile.

"So how did he tell you?" Julian asked

"Well...." I trailed off

I told them everyone, about Nathan and Dale's bet, about when Nolan and I were talking about the girl that he likes, which turned out to be me, and up to the part where he said 'I'll fight for you.' I still can't get it out of my head.

"OMG! That's so cute." Hazel squealed, we head the door open and Ashton and Nolan walked in with Nolan holding a tray of food.

"Ashley and-" Ezekiel started to say but Easton nudged him in the side, he groaned and glared at Easton.

"Ashley and who?" Ashton asked, he looked at me and gave me a confused look.

"Ashley and Matt, yeah that's what I was going to say. Their friendship is really cute." Ezekiel covered up, I gave him a grateful smile and I looked at Nolan who was holding in a laughter, he looked at me and gave me a knowing look. Great, he knows that I told them. 

'You're dead' He mouthed to me, I blushed and leaned into bed.

"I saw that." Hazel whispered in my ear, I looked at her and she gave me a smirk.

"You guys are too cute." She said, I blushed a deeper red and his my head under the blanket. 

"Ash, what are you doing?" I heard Ashton ask, I peeked out of the blanket and saw everyone looking at me. I gave them a sheepish grin and glared at Hazel who mouthed 'Love ya', I rolled my eyes at her and looked at Ashton, then I remembered something.

"Hey, Ashy. Who was that girl your were with when Trina and I were fighting, she was really pretty." I asked, he stayed quiet and I could see the tint of pink form on his cheeks. Oh my gosh, no.

"You like her!" I accused, he glared at me and everyone laughed at him.

"So you do? You're not saying otherwise." Hudson said, Ashton glared at him and huffed.

"I don't like her, besides I just met her. She's new, she just moved here." He explained, I smiled and fiddled with my blanket as I thought of Nolan. Maybe when Ashton dates this girl, he'll ease off on Nolan and I. I looked over at Nolan to see him looking at me, he gave me a genuine smile and mouthed.

'We'll talk later.' and gestured to everyone in the room meaning that we'll talk when we're alone. Great, more awkwardness for me.

"Well we're gonna go ahead, the other guys said they were going to stop by to visit you and we don't want to to be so crowded." Julian said, I looked at him and reached out my arms for a hug. He smiled and walked towards me wrapping his arms around me. The other guys did the same and when it came to Hazel, she whispered in my ear; 

"I texted the guys saying that we have to leave so that you and Nolan can have some alone time, I'm gonna bring Ashton with me. Just don't do anything dirty, okay?" My mouth dropped open and she pulled away from me giving me a wink and stepped back. She looked over at Ashton and gave him a smile.

"Ash, can you come with us downstairs? I need to ask you something." She asked, he looked confused but nodded his head anyway.

"Okay, sure." He said, he looked at me and I just nodded my head. They all walked out after saying goodbye to Nolan and I and then left us alone. Great. 

"So...." I trailed off, he looked over at me and gave me a smile.

"I meant what I said, Ashley, I'm gonna fight for you." He said making me swoon over the moon. 

Great, just great.

He walked towards me and cupped my cheek like earlier, he leaned in to the point where our lips were brushing against each other. I felt my heart race pick up and the heart monitor started going crazy. He looked over at the heart monitor and smirked at me.

"Do I make you nervous?" He said in a low voice, he looked me in the eye and soon enough, our lips met.
