Hazel POV

We had finally made it to the pack and I took my bags out of the trunk.

"Let me get that." Said a servant and I shook my head.

"It's already. It's not heavy I can handle it." I said smiling at the servant.

"Let him take care of it." Said Damion and I glared at him.

"Why don't you come here and help me instead of telling someone else to help me." I said huffing at him.

"I'm the Alpha they need to follow my order. That includes you." He said and I smirked.

"You know you were supposed to be my mate originally. Power is not given to just anyone and if it's used wrongly it can lead to failure." I said walking to the doors that were opened for me by another servant.

"This way." Said another servant as she took me to a room that I'm guessing belongs to the twins.

"Thank you." I said smiling at the woman as she looked at me strangely but gave me a small smile.

"Just doing my job." She said and left followed by the twins.

"I don't care if you were supposed to be my mate! You are my mate and you are going to follow every order we give you." Said Damion and I looked at him up and down.

"I'm pretty sure nether me nor Lucine will follow your orders if we don't want to." I said and I was going to be tackled to the floor by him but I moved out of the way and I felt Damien behind me trying to do the same but I did a flip and moved out of the way.

"I don't know if you know but there's a reason I'm the best fighter/soldier in my pack." I said glaring at both of them.

"You can't make me follow your orders if I don't want to. You might intimidate everyone else but after everything I've been through in my life I can assure you you're nothing." I said my eyes getting darker because of them glaring back at me.

"I need to go cool off or this won't end right." I said itching to transform into Lucine as I walked to the window and jumped out still in human form as I hear both twins yell after me. I took off running in human form looking around as people looked at me and I smiled at them. They don't seem to get what kindness is.

I ran until I got to the woods and took my cloth off not wanting to rip them. I put them in a neat pile before I shifted into Lucine and ran at full speed jumping on trees with my claws as I took the time to train. That's until I hear growls behind me and I turned around seeing two black wolves. They seemed to shine in the sun light, and they seemed somewhat intimidating but after what happened that day I don't think I can ever find anything to top it off.

"I told you I needed time." I said to them and they shook their heads.

"We didn't give you permission to leave." Said Damion and I rolled my eyes.

"This would've been so much better if you'd just.." I stopped taking a wiff of the air.

"Do you smell that?" I asked and they looked at me strangely. I ran in the direction the smell came from the two wolves behind me and soon we found ourselves face to face with rogue wolves.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Damien not wanting to attack 6 wolves without a reason.

"We're here to take you down." Said one of them and that was enough for the twins to attack as I went to attack to but after I hurt one of them enough for him not to be able to move I went for another one.. it was grey wolf and it's scent was familiar.

"Hazel that's Brandon!" I hear Luna say and I stopped attacking him looking him in the eyes.

"Brandon?" I asked and the wolf looked at me weird before his eyes widen.

"Hazel?" He asked standing down as I did the same by the time I let him go the twins were already done and ready to attack him but I got in their way.

"You're not going to hurt him." I said as they both glared at me.

"And why wouldn't we?!" Growled Damion.

"Because I'm standing here in front of you alive because of him." I said and that seemed to be enough for them to back off a little as I looked at Brandon.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"They killed my little sister.." He said and my eyes widen as I looked at the twins with a death glare.

"Why?" I asked as the twins didn't answer.

"They claimed her as theirs when she wasn't their mate and she died." He said and I could feel my breathing being out of control.

"Why would you kill Susan?!" I growled at them both.

"You knew her?" Asked Damien and I glared at him.

"We'll talk about this later." I said still glaring and Brandon looked at me.

"Why are you here? You're supposed to be back with your pack." He asked.

"Apparently both Luna and Lucine found their mates." I said looking at the two black wolves before looking back at Brandon.

"They are their mates?! You've got to be kidding me! Isn't the moon goddess their mother?! Why would they have these two as their mates?!" He growled and the twins looked at him surprised as I glared a little at Brandon and he looked at me.

"You didn't tell them did you? You didn't tell them anything of what happened that day or what you are. Did you tell your family about it?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I lost both my sister and my mother that day Brandon. I appreciate you saving me but that doesn't give you the right to tell anyone of what happened that night. I would very much appreciate it if you kept your mouth shut. Now leave!" I said as he looked at me with fear before running away.

"Why did you let him go?!" Asked Damien and I shook my head needing time alone to think.

"Because he's not going to be a problem anymore." I said looking away from them.

"What did he mean by moon goddess being their mother?" Asked Damion to me.

"That's non of your god damn business." I growled as I ran away from them itching to be alone.
