Zoe's POV:

"Are you fucking stupid?" I asked walking up to him angrily before throwing his phone letting it hit the wall and the screen shattered into pieces.

"What is wrong with you?" He asked angrily

"With me?, you're the one lying to my twin sister"

"Your 'twin' sister?, since when do you care about her?" He asked putting air quotes in twin and I laughed

"It's really not a matter of who I care for, it's the fact that I will not ever let you use her the way you did before" I answer back aggressively

"I didn't use her, OK maybe I did but you were the one who forced yourself in a wedding dress just to make me marry you even when you knew I was supposed to get married to your sister" he pointed out

"And that was literally the dumbest thing I ever did, I can't believe that I'm married to a disgusting, broke, lying idiot, you can't even afford to get yourself a house and move out of your father's house and you want to take a girl shopping, do you know how ladies shop?, do you think she'll just buy a dress and some fake Gucci product and walk away?, no, she won't, you won't be able to afford any thing she'll want to have not even just her flip-flops" I said to him then mentally patted myself on my back. One thing I love doing is insulting Eric about his joblessness cause maybe it will help him feel ashamed or something and he'll find himself a nice job but being the idiot he is, he always takes my words as mere insults and curses and I'm not sure he's even searching for a job at all.

"Chloe is not like you, she likes simple things, she is not the type of girl that feels the need to wear stupid diamond or gold, if she were the one I got married to she won't insult me over my problems, she won't feel the need to always pressurize me like you do, she'll be a very good wife and she'll help and support me whenever I need it, in fact, she would totally help me get a job, that's something you'll never do, you only think about........"

"Wait a minute, I, like me, Zoe, the Zoe Morganne, should be a good wife and help you get a job" I interrupted and laughed maniacally. "I've done lot's of things in this life but I would never dress up and go searching for a job for you, I mean what's the use of your legs then?" I asked interrupting him. He's really stupid for calling diamonds stupid, I know he only said that because he can't afford them

"I should have never married you, I should have just sticked with Chloe, she was my parent's and grandmother's choice after all and just so you know if you continue like this, I may just divorce you and leave you in the streets." he said before walking out of the room angrily leaving me laughing on the floor.

Is that a threat?, he wants to divorce me, Chloe won't marry him anymore, no sane girl would want him because he's a broke idiot, and I have Aaron, I won't be on the streets because I'm gonna be married to Aaron, the joke is actually on him, he's the idiot in this whole game.

Chloe's POV:

I'm sure it was Zoe who interrupted the call, she's so crazy, stopping me from talking to Eric like I want to steal him away from her, then again Eric said she's gone shopping. I don't understand his point of calling me just to lie. Did he honestly want to take me shopping or he just called me so I can hear Zoe's voice and his together and get reminded of my supposed to be wedding day?, he just wanted to throw his wedding to my twin sister at my face?, I knew I shouldn't pick his stupid phone call.

The thought of that made me feel bad and i started crying before I decided to call Alec

"Hey Chloe, how's it going?" He asked after the third ring

"Alec, I'm in a very very bad state of mind, something just happened to me" I cried into the phone

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked again

"Yes please, my mum isn't home can you come over?" I asked him still crying

"Sure I can, just give me a few minutes and please stop crying, OK?" He says

"I'll try" I reply before ending the call.

30 minutes later, I heard a knock on the door, knowing fully well that it would be Alec, I rushed and opened it.

"Hey, what's wrong?, why were you crying over the phone?" He asked as soon as he got in

"I just felt somewhat bad, Eric called me today and....."

"Eric called you and you answered?" He asked interrupting me

"Of course I did, I thought that...."

"Don't you remember what happened the last time he called you?" He interrupted me again

"Alec listen to me, I called you here to listen to me and make me feel better about my situation not to bombard me with silly questions" I said angrily, I don't understand what his is, he's my friend, he's supposed to be my friend and support me, now it seems like he's against me.

"Situation?, Chloe you don't have a situation, you keep putting yourself through this, stop contacting with Eric because he keeps reminding you of the past"

"That's right, throw it at my face, remind me how my sister got married to my fiancé and how I'll remain single forever" I said finally letting my tears spill

"Look, I'm sorry OK?, can I at least seat down first before we can about this?"

"I'm not stopping you" I replied before he went to take a seat while I sat on the chair opposite him

"Do you want to hear everything or you're still planing on screaming at me?" I asked after a few minutes of silence between us

"I'll like to hear it" he murmured but I ignored his rude behavior

"Well, Eric called me today and he said he wanted to take me out for my birthday, he said that Zoe would never find out I was with him today and that Zoe wasn't even around, I didn't really believe him but he was still trying to convince me when I heard Zoe scream at him and next thing the call ended"

"I don't understand where I fall into any of this" he says .....angrily?

"I thought you were my friend, you were supposed to console me" I said tiredly, I can't believe the Alec I know, the one whom I always find help in, is the one talking to me right now

"You shouldn't have answered his call in the first place, you are the one giving yourself unnecessary stress, you're just over thinking all of this, you should learn to move on Chloe" he says frustrated

"You are getting me wrong here, can't you see that......" I was interrupted by the sound of the door opening

"Who's that?" Alec asked

"It's probably just mum, so as I was saying.....wait, it's mum!" I don't know what to do, she can't see me here with Alec, I'm an adult and I have the right to be with anyone I want to but she won't get that, she'll scold me again

"Chloe, I'm back and...." She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Alec sitting on the couch opposite me, I don't think I want to know what she's gonna do  next.
