Freddy's Pov:

I finished up breakfast with everyone else and they had headed off to their rooms. I stayed in the kitchen sitting down infront of Fredbear's little alter. I was looking down at one of our old photos when we used to actually be good brothers.

"You miss him a lot, don't you?" I heard someone as I turned around. It was Henry.
"Y-yeah..." I said wiping the tears that I didn't realize were pouring out.

"Yea...I miss him too." he said coming over and patting my back. "You mind telling me what happened? That's only if you want to tell me-" he said before I interrupted him.

"I do mind, but I have to tell someone, and I think it's best to get it off my chest." I said sitting Henry and I next to Fredbear.

"Ever since I was shut down by Mr.Natwick-" I said before Henry stopped me.
"Hold up. Natwick? That's a weird fucking name" Henry chuckled before noticing he interrupted me.

"Oh! Sorry, continue." he said as I chuckled with him.
"No, your right. Natwick was his name, it was a weird one."

"He shut me down after Fredbear's incident and who knows what he must have done with Fredbear. The thing is, ever since, a virus entered into my system and goes undetected by any of my anti-virus systems"

"Wait?! You have a virus?!" Henry asked shocked. I nodded.

"Why haven't you told me? What does this virus even do?!" He asked and I pointed towards my eyes behind my glasses
"I don't fully know what this virus does, but it seems to emit some type of light that causes people to have some type of stroke...It also seems to affect...y'know..." I said gesturing towards Fredbear.

"Oh...But, what about Y/N? Hasn't he seen into your eyes?" Henry asked curiously. I nodded and began to explain. "I don't know why he wasn't affected by it, but i'm glad. I would never forgive myself if I killed him..." I said quietly trying not to think of losing Y/N forever.

"Well, have you ever tried repairing it? I called Will yesterday to come over, maybe he can help fix you?" He said as he lifted the mood with his response. "Heh...yeah. Maybe be could" I said smiling.

"Oh! We went off topic there, my bad!" I said realizing that we sidetracked. "To answer your question of what happened to Fredbear, this virus has an entity named Nightmare who feeds off the fears of those he captures...using my eyes to trap them in a mental state..." I explained as Henry was fully hooked on the story now.

"He explained to me that there IS a way too exit that mental state...you have to face those fears...and get over it...Fredbear couldn't bare those fears..." I said slowing down as the memory flooded into my mind...

"His fear was being alone...his fear was about everyone leaving him...and that's exactly what happened. His fear came true and his mind did the rest...he had a knife...and you can guess what he did afterwards..." I said covering my face trying not to cry again...

"Freddy...it wasn't your faul-" Henry started to say but I knew it was a lie.
"Yes it was! I forgot to put on my glasses and I looked him in the eyes! Tell me how it isn't my fault!" I suddenly screamed making Henry flinch.

"I-..." Henry said before saying nothing.
I sighed. "Sorry, it's just...I'm the reason he's gone now...I hope Y/N stays safe" I whispered making Henry flinch.

"About that...." Henry said making me suspect something happened to Y/N.
"What happened! Did something happen to Y/N?!" I panicked getting up.

"Freddy! Hold on! We're not sure yet-" Henry  yelled getting up and stopping me from heading out.
"We're? Who else knows?!" I yelled trying to get some answers.

"If you sit down I can explain!" he yelled as I hesitated but sat back down on the floor. He soon sat back down with me and explained.

"I found Y/N's phone and car outside. His phone rang on the floor and so I picked it up and answered. Turns out, his friend knew he was coming back home, but Y/N never did arrive to his apartment." He explained as I now grew worried.

Henry must have noticed because he quickly explained it more. "But don't worry! He's coming by and we are going to see if we can locate Y/N. Just trust me, ok?" He said and after a while I agreed.

"Ok. I'm curious to know who this guy is." I said and Henry nodded. "Mhm, hopefully we can learn something about Y/N with his help. He should be here in around 3 to 4 minutes." He explained and I nodded.

Timeskip:

"Ok, he said he's out front. Let's go meet him." Henry said hanging up the phone. I followed him out to the front to find... Jason? I saw him around a few days ago talking to Y/N when I was just a plushie. He looked way too worried.

Ok maybe i'm a little worried too....
Just a little...

"Hey- Woah! Hey, that's the robot that Y/N had a plushie of!" Jason said looking towards me. I forgot that I was robot since Y/N and Henry made me feel human, but either way I was still a little offended.
"Who are you calling a robot-Oh right...." I said realizing that i'm not as human as I thought...

"Don't mind him! I'm guessing Y/N hasn't told you about the animatronics, but they are advanced enough to have emotions so they get used to it after a while." Henry explained as Jason looked up to me.
"Woah. Sorry there Freddy. Nice to meet ya!" he said raising his arm towards me.

"Hi..." I said still feeling a little weird around this guy.
"Now, Henry. Let's talk about Y/N. You must know hi-" Jason began.

"ACTUALLY. I think if anything about Y/N, is that I would be best" I said getting infront of Henry. Why am I acting like this...

"Uhh, I think I should talk with Henry..." Jason said before Henry cleared his throat.
"Jason, it would be best to talk with Freddy. He knows Y/N better than anyone here" he said as I grew a smile at the praise.

"Umm, ok? Don't know why he had to act so aggressive..." I heard Jason mumble before we all made it back inside.
I'm not aggressive!

I don't think so...

We made it back inside and Henry told us to chat while he called his friend William.
This obviously left us in an awkward situation...

"Sooooo..." I said looking at Jason who was twiddling his thumbs similar to Y/N when he is nervous...
Maybe he acts similar to Y/N...

What could make this less awkward...
"So you know Y/N?" I said and instantly shut up knowing it was a dumb question.
"Heh, would I be here if I didn't know Y/N?" he asked being a little more confident.

"I don't know, would you?" I said playfully gaining some confidence myself. We both chuckled.

"Alright, Freddy. If you DO know Y/N, then why don't we have a little quiz on who knows him better." Jason said surprising me.

"That is...unless you don't actually care about Y/N-"
"Of course I do! You're on!" I interrupted as I got a little angry from his dare. Of course I care!

Jason's Pov (finally):

The bear's response was pretty aggressive for such a small thing....
I do question....
What does this bear have to do with Y/N?
Maybe i'll get to know if I ask the right questions...

"First question. What's Y/N favorite dri-"
"F/D" Freddy responded with ease....
That question is too basic. Maybe a harder one.

"Favorite cand-"
"F/C!" he said in which shocked me.
I myself was a little unsure what Y/N liked but for Freddy to know an instant shocks me...

Freddy has something with Y/N and they seem to be suprisingly close.
"How do you know these?" I asked Freddy. He just smirked. If he knows what Y/N likes...
Maybe I can ask something him for anything to wow him...

"How would one get with Y/N..." I asked quietly a bit embarrassed. I could tell his eyes widened just by looking at his facial expression and his non-existent eyebrows.

"W-what do you mean by that?" he stuttered.
"I mean...like...dating him..." I asked.
"*cough* , Wow, uhhh. That's a hard one to answer" he said coughing again obviously nervous.
Wait, I shouldn't be taking this as an opportunity to date Y/N...

"Sorry about that. Y'know what, you win. We should focus on where we should search for Y/N" I chuckled as he sighed.

"Y-yeah. I can't really go outside looking like this." he said pointing to his tux and obviously him being an animatronic.

"Yeah, but how can you go outsid-" and in a blink of an eye, he went from an animatronic to a real bear.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!!!" I screamed stepping back atleast 3 feet.

"Hm? Oh! Sorry, I forgot some people aren't used to this. Took Y/N a while to get used to this heh..." he said scratching the back of his neck.

"How can anybody get used to that?!!" I screamed still shocked. He just shrugged and I looked at his clothing.

The first thing I noticed is that he had a similar clothes style to Y/N. His loose clothing was perfect to hide him being a bear...

"Anyways, l-let's just go!" I said as he followed me outside...

"Should we check Y/N's car?" I asked and he nodded.
"He keeps a lot of his personal things in there so I wouldn't be suprised if there is something there." Freddy said which suprised me to know why he would know that.

"Ok, let's check" I said approaching the car and pulling the door just to know that it was locked.

"Fuck! It's locked." I said trying to pull it more until I saw Freddy. I got an idea from seeing Freddy.

"Hey Freddy, what if we break the car door?" I said as to Freddy looked me as if I was insane. "Are you crazy?! I'm not breaking his car!!" He screamed.

I gave him a deadpanned looked as I pointed towards the hood of the car. "His car looks run down either way. To be honest, his car probably didn't start in the condition it's in." I explained as Freddy huffed and grumbled.

"Fine..." he said as he readied his fist to punch. "Tell me where to hit and i'll hit it" he said.

"Right there, the lock inside should loosen on impact" I said and as quickly as I pointed he smashed directly in the spot I told him making me flinch on the impact of his fist and the car.

"Looks like someone else knows a bit about mechanical stuff" he said opening the car door easily after the punch.
What does he mean by saying someone else...
Does he mean Y/N?

As he opened the door, we saw that there was indeed a few things inside. Most notably, a note. "What's it say Freddy?" I asked.
Freddy looked at the note in confusion and then in disgust.
"Freddy...? What is it?" I asked.

"It's..."

I looked over the note that Freddy read and was shocked. It was a note from Katrina...to Y/N...

"Who the hell is Katrina?" Freddy asked. Katrina is that girl at school that people have been telling me to date. If she wrecked Y/N's car then that must mean she could have some part in this. I always got a bad vibe from her...

"Katrina is one of our classmates at school and she always stays as close to me as possible whenever i'm not hanging out with Y/N." I explained.

He kept examining the note as if something was bothering him...
"Is...there something bothering you Freddy?" I asked and he looked at the note once more before looking at me.

"What does it mean by 'stay away from my Jason'?" he said and I shrugged. "I honestly don't know. Y/N almost never talks to anyone and usually only talks to someone when they approach him." I explained as he still had a confused look.

"Y/N was never gay...well, not till recently" I heard him mumble. How would he know that? I guess Freddy is close friends with Y/N...

If Y/N trusts him...then maybe I should as well.
"Hey Freddy. Do you think we should look at Y/N's room?" I asked. He looked at me and thought about it for a second.

"Maybe, but shouldn't I ask Henry to go out before leaving?" He asked. I nodded and Freddy went inside while I waited.

Freddy seems to be a really cool guy. Though, I should probably tell Gerold to help. I pulled out my phone and dialed Gerold's number. "Hey Gerold?" I asked once he picked up.

"Yeah, what's up?" Gerold asked.
"Come over to Y/N's apartment. So what happened was..."

Freddy's Pov:

I entered the pizzeria and went over to Henry's office. I opened the door and saw that he was doing some paperwork.
"Oh! Hey Freddy, you and Jason seem to have been gone for quite a bit." Henry said noticing I was in the room.

"Oh! Yeah. Me and Jason want to go over to Y/N's apartment to see if we could find anything, is that ok?" I asked and Henry nodded.

"Mhm, go for it. And before you go..." he said searching through his desk.
"Take this phone. I got every animatronic a phone and they just came in yesterday." he said handing me a phone with a phone case with bear ears and a brown color pallette similar to my fur.

"Cool. Thanks!" I said putting the phone into tbe pockets of my hoodie and waving Henry goodbye. I walked out of his office and moved over to the kitchen.

I walked up to Fredbear.
"Hey, i'm gonna go outside and try and help Jason who's one of Y/N's friends find Y/N. I've lost you because of me and I don't want to be the reason Y/N disappears too." I said booping Fredbear's nose as it squeaked.

"Root for me, will ya?" I said smiling before going back outside.
"Thanks Gerold, see ya there" I heard Jason say to someone on the phone. "Who's Gerold?", I asked to which Jason noticed I was now outside.

"Oh! He's one of my friends who me and Y/N know. I told him to get something for me. He's always there for me and he's a really chill guy" he explained as me and Jason were going to the train station.

As we were walking, I had to make sure my hood was covered so no one would see that a literal bear was walking the streets. It didn't help that I was waay taller than Jason was.

But other than that, me and Jason got along pretty well. We exchanged phone numbers while we were at it as well as him giving me Y/N's cell phone number.

As we approached the train station, we were stopped by a police officer. "Stop! Entrance is not permitted!" he said sternly as me and Jason got confused.

"What?! Isn't this the public transportation! Y'know...P U B L I C." Jason said which the officer didn't like for his attitude.

"Listen here. I can't disclose any information of what happened here but at the moment they are trying to identify the victim" he said which made me catch on his wording.

"Identify the victim? So you're saying that there was a murder" I asked in which the officer noticed his choice of wording.
"Forget I said anything!" he said which confirmed to me and Jason that someone was murdered.

"Ok we will" I said grabbing onto Jason's hand and walking away. We stood silent until we were at a safe distance.
"We're breaking in aren-"
"We're breaking in." I confirmed interrupting Jason as we made our way out of sight.

"So how are we going to break in Freddy?" Jason asked as I pulled out my phone.
"Henry has a friend who so happens to be a detective." I said.

"And that's where I come in!" A voice said behind us causing me and Jason to jump.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled as Jason clung onto me.

"Henry told me that you would most likely be needing my help finding your friend and I  also happen to be working on this case that happened yesterday." The guy who I am presuming is William.

"Your name is William right?" I asked and William corrected me. "Detective Afton or DA for short, and yes. To be honest right now, we are having some trouble" He said scratching his neck.

"What type of problem?" I asked to which he replied basically asking us to help.
"A case was reported last night around 11:40pm about someone dying on the train tracks. Not only are we trying to identify the victim but also find the murderer who killed them." he said basically giving us a run down of the case.

"If you help me solve this case the i'd let both of you have access to files, criminal records, and even a few devices we use to help solve cases."

"Woah! Why would you give us access to that?" Jason asked as he was no longer afraid of William. William just sighed.

"We need to identify the victim by the end of the evening or i'm as good as fired" he admitted which caused us both to panic. Me and Jason would only have one chance to figure out this case and if not then we would be out of luck.

"Ok, we'll do it!" Jason said as we really didn't have a choice. "So much for trying to break in..." I mumbled to which Jason chuckled.

"Follow me, i'll get you guys inside." William said. We followed him back over to the entrance where the officer was and me and Jason couldn't stop snickering about how he was going to have to let us through.
"You two are acting like kids, stop it." William said as I cleared my throat and stopped. Jason kept laughing to himself and eventually did stop.

"Officer Reyman, these two boys are going to help me with the investigation so please don't stop them from going in and out. Got it?" William told the officer as he looked at me and Jason again with shock.

"S-sure boss..." he said still shocked at how what seemed like 2 normal guys got access to such a case like this.

Making it past the payment booth, we looked over at what the crime scene was about and- WHAT THE FUCK THAT IS BRUTAL!!!

"What happened here?!" Jason yelled out as the other officers and what I presumed was the coroner was looking at us. "Don't worry, they are with me." he announced to everyone before turning to us.

"It's probably best I get you guys some badges so they won't kick you out of restricted areas. Meanwhile, try and look at the crime scene and figure something out." William said before running off somewhere.

"Well...Should we go investigate?" I asked Jason and he nodded.

We approached the coroner who seemed to want to take the crushed body. "I'm no coroner but i'm guessing this body got crushed by that train that seems to have blood all over the front." Jason said as the coroner chuckled.

"Pretty much. Any other injuries couldn't even be identifiable. It's so bad that we only know who called. The victim can't be identified and the caller said the killer stabbed her and ran away." The coroner explained getting up and moving to another side of the train station.

"Yeesh, imagine going out that way..." I said as the officer next to us responded.
"Yeah, though I reckon the person didn't stay alive long enough to even feel pain" he said but I knew that was wrong.

"You're wrong. Those are electrified rail tracks meaning the person was shocked to death or paralyzed before getting hit by the train. So they did end up feeling pain before contact." I explained as the officer inspected the scene a bit more.

"Hmm, I guess your right. Jeez, that makes it more messed up...Also what's with you wearing that hood?" he said as he was about to pull down my hood, but Jason grabbed his hand away from me before he could pull it down.

"He's...shy." Jason said as the officer apologized. "It's alright, but hey, what do we know about the case so far?" I asked the officer as he proudly gave me the case file.

"This is the case file and the only thing we have so far." he said handing me and Jason the file containing everything they had so far.

"There you two are! It looks like you two have already started investigating. Here, have your badges." He said giving me and Jason our own personalized badges. Jason thanked William and I opened the case file.

"Cause of death....train....date...10pm...caller...
Katrina?!" I said out loud causing William to jump at my sudden outburst. "No way Katrina is on there!" Jason said before looking at the case file and seeing Katrina's name as the caller.

"Do you two know her?" William asked me and Jason. "Know her?! She's literally a SUSPECT in our own mystery" I said showing him some of the evidence we found of Katrina's note to Y/N.

"Wow DA, they got a better lead in their case than we do" one of the other officers said nudging William's shoulder as he only responded by rolling his eyes.

Jason's Pov:

"I must admit that you guys have a good lead on your case, but you could also use this as a time to ask about the victim and what she saw at the crime scene" William said as Freddy wandered a bit to wherever he went.

"I feel like yesterday's killing and Y/N's dissapearance last night are connected and I hope it isn't the way I think it is..." I said as William gave me an unsure look.

"Hey, may I ask what's your friend's name so I could maybe find some information on them while you solve my case here?" William asked and I nodded.
"His name is Y/N L/N, he's 22 years old." I said as William took note of it before noticing something behind me.

"Wait! Don't do that!" He yelled as I looked behind me and noticed Freddy about to go on the train tracks. Aren't those things electrified?!

We all watched as he casually stepped on the tracks as we watched in shock. "Wait! How are you doing that?!" I screamed at Freddy as he pointed to a breaker box.

"I shut off the power so that we can actually investigate what happened here-" he said before stopping and grabbing a bag from the tracks containing broken cups of ramen noodles.

"Hmm, there seems to be a receipt inside..." Freddy said taking out a receipt from the bag and reading it. "Freddy! Can you get off the railing cause it is making me really uncomftable you standing there" I said as he nodded and got back up.

"Wait...Freddy?" William said as he now looked at Freddy. "Oh shit..." Freddy whispered as we now both looked at William.

William grabbed a hold of me and Jason and walked us over to where no one was at. "Ok, is this really you Freddy?" William asked sounding a little annoyed before Freddy sighed.

He lifted down his hood as William went from annoyed to ecstatic. "Hi dad..." Freddy groaned.

A/N: Let me clarify something. Freddy and Fredbear both are made by William who you will know about him later.

Each engineer has their own family of animatronics with each family having their own special thing depending on the engineer's personality.

The Fazbear's specialty is turning to a real animal, animatronic, and plush mode because of William's multiple personalities and being the founder of these animatronics also symbolizes him as the source of their life. That's why the Fazbear's have the ability to shape into any of the 3 different life forms.

"Dad?" I asked confused by Freddy referring to William as his dad. "Does that mean that you..." I said before William nodded.

"Yup! I created him", he said hugging Freddy as Freddy only groaned. "It's been so long since i've seen you! How ya been!" He said messing up Freddy's fur.

"I'm fine dad..." he grumbled fixing his ruffled fur. William only chuckled as Freddy tried adjusting his glasses which I never questioned for some reason.

"Oh I see what Henry meant by you wearing glasses now..." William said pointing at Freddy's glasses. "Yeah, I need to get the virus out of my system before taking these glasses off" Freddy explained to William.

"Well, I suggest you and Jason get on your way over, and...please stay safe" William said hugging Freddy as it took him by suprise.

"I-I will dad...you s-stay safe out there too." he said embracing his father's hug. As weird as it was standing there awkwardly, it felt like a nice moment between them. I couldn't see either of their faces because of Freddy's hood but I don't need to see to know that this was a good moment for them.

They stayed in that hug for quite a while but I didn't dare try to interrupt it. I wonder what is going through Freddy's mind right now...

Freddy's Pov:

"...Please stay safe." My dad said hugging me and embracing me in a hug. I...
When was the last time i've seen my dad?...

Spending all those years at the pizzeria, and yet he doesn't come to visit...
But now I get to see him and at first I wasn't so happy to see him...
But, does he really care about me...

I hugged him back as I gave him a tight squeeze. "I-I will dad...you s-stay safe out there too." I said as I started to tear up a bit.

"I missed you..." I whispered to him so that only he could hear me. I haven't had any contact with him for a long time, but feeling his embrace was something that felt nostalgic to me. "I missed you too. I hope I get to see you and Fredbear again..." he whispered making my heart stop for a second.

I felt the guilt hit me once again...
Unfortunately, He won't get to be able to see Fredbear...alive. "Y-yeah...One day..." I whispered back as we finally let go of our hug.

"Don't cry big guy. I'm here right?" he said as I forced a smile on my face. I'm glad I got to see dad again, but I was crying for two reasons. I'm crying for dad being here...but also because i'm the reason Fredbear isn't...

"Y-yeah. Thanks. It was really nice seeing you again." I said wiping away the tears as he pat my shoulder.

"No problem! But uhhh, maybe you and your friend there should get going now, ok?" he said eyeing towards Jason who was standing a few feet behind us.

"Oh! Right. C'mon let's get going Jason. Bye dad!" I yelled as I pulled my hood up and left with Jason on one of the cop cars that were leant to us.

He waved goodbye and gave us a big smile before leaving the parking lot. As Jason drove us to Katrina's place he decided to ask me about before.
"So, what was that about?" Jason asked.
"Sorry, I just haven't seen my dad in a long time...and to be honest I needed that hug from him. It gave me comfort." I explained as Jason smiled.

"It was a cute moment so I let you two alone." he chuckled.
"I-...Thank you." I said as he continued driving.

I can see why Y/N would be friends with Jason. Maybe I should introduce Jason to Foxy in the meantime...

So that was the end of the first chapter!

I want to know how it was and if there was anything bad about it to see if I can improve in the future.

Also, since this was the first chapter, it was long because of the whole wait of releasing this.

Chapters will go back to their original word count and i'm glad I was able to release this.

Jason and Freddy are getting along pretty well, but what would Jason react when he finds out about Freddy's relationship?

Freddy seems to be struggling with the death of his brother and the absence of his dad. It has been over 20 years since he last saw him when he was created.
