I snuck through the city with the others close behind. We can stay safe as long as we stay in the secret base.

We reached the base. I moved away the rubbish bags and opened the hatch.

"whoe cool" kaito gasped.

I nodded "we can stay safe as long as we stay in my hidden base. Now come on let's go!"

*time skip*

"guys we're home" I called out to the other remnants as we jumped in. Where on earth did they-

My eyes locked onto a letter left on the counter next to a picture of my sister. Curiously I picked it up and read it..

Dear kichi
Sorry to leave so soon buddy but it seems future Fondation has caught on to us. We couldn't risk saying in the city any longer. Stay safe and hopefully we'll see each other again.

I felt tears brim in my eyes. They left before I could even say goodbye. I wonder if I'll ever see them again.

"are you alright?" I looked up to see the worried faces of my friends.

I wiped my tears away and flashed them a smile "yeah I'm fine. In fact I feel in the mood for a warm bath. Please make yourself at home" with that I ran off.

*time skip*

I lay back in the bathtub as the soapy bubbles tickled my nose. Well it's more like a washbasin then a bathtub since you can't get a bathtub underground but it's plenty big for a kid my size-

My thoughts were cut off by kaito bursting through the door.

"kaito what are you doing!" I yelled as I tried to cover my naked body.

"sorry dude but I really need to pee" with that he shamelessly pulled his pants down.

I covered my eyes as he peed. I can't believe he's not even a little bit embarrassed!

He looked over at me and raised an eyebrow "Why's your face all red?"

"cause I'm embarrassed by your actions" I muttered.

"oh come now" he walked up to me "we're both men. There's no shame in getting naked around each other. Here watch this" with that he proceeded to strip in front of me.

I let out a yelp and covered my eyes. I can't believe he just did that. Not even nagitos that crazy!

"kaito you're not giving that manly speech again are you" shuichi popped his head in "come on we've got a girl in the house!"

"sorry sidekick but a lesson had to be taught" kaito said firmly "after all there's no shame in stripping in front of your bro"

"you're an embarrassment!" I yelled.

Shuichi sighed "come on stop messing around kaito. We've got to get a good night's rest just in case those monsters find us"

"oh good point sidekick. Imma find my pj's" with that he ran out of the room.

I leaned back as my cheeks burned up. Why did I have to get stuck with such an idiot!
