Mokotos pov

I walked into the office, expecting to be greeted by the warm smiles of my coworkers but instead I was met with their worried glances.

"is everything alright?" I asked.

Kyoko shook her head sadly "mokoto I think you should take a look at this" she handed me a newspaper article.

CLASS OF BRAND NEW HOPES PEAK STUDENTS SUDDENLY GO MISSING!

I couldn't believe what I was reading. A whole classroom of students suddenly go missing? It's unheard of! Hold on did it say hopes peak? Then kokichi-

"is kokichi alright!?" I asked urgently.

Kyoko sighed "I'm sorry mokoto but kokichi is among the sixteen students that disappeared"

"no" I whispered. I promised myself I'd protect that boy. Give him a better life. How can I protect him like this!?

Kyoko placed a hand on my shoulder "don't worry mokoto. Future Fondation is doing everything it can to find the missing ultimates. We will find kokichi and bring him back safely" she gently squeezed my shoulder.

"thanks kyoko" I smiled at her. She always has my back.

"you better bring that kid back safely" we looked up to see fuyuhiko with the other former remnants behind him "there will be hell to pay if you don't" the others nodded in agreement.
