Chapter 2. Already Here

Wayzz's POV

I honestly have no idea why I'm standing in front of a bunch of human kids, watching Trixx trying to cope with all the advance new world she's been oblivious for a whole age.

"My name's Trixie," she said.

I almost laughed aloud. What kind of name was Trixie?

I scanned Plagg and Tikki's face to spot some kind of realization dawning in their faces. Nope, not at all. They were completely blind. A 100%. That explained how they didn't marry yet.

Trixx stepped back and nudged me forward.

I sighed and slipped forward, hoping Plagg would stay a little more blind. "My name's Way. . ." I paused momentarily, I almost said my real name. ". . . ne. My name's Wayne."

As the words left my mouth, I could feel Trixx softly laughing behind my back. I shot her a look. She rolled her eyes right back at me.

Then just as I turned back, Plagg jumped up from his seat like a cat on fire.

I didn't know what to feel: sad that he wasn't blind or happy that he wasn't blind.

Plagg blinked at me with shock etched all over his face, surprised but at the same time laughing at me in a sneaky way. His finger was aimed at me, quavering with shock.

"Patrick, is there something you would like to share with the class?" Ms. Bustier sharply said, it made Plagg subtly sit back down.

I shot him a smirk.

He glared at me.

Ms. Bustier turned to us, looking perplexed at our appearance. I mean, she probably doesn't think my hair is 100% natural; it was electronic green. And Trixx always told me I had a player look.

Well, the bigger problem is Trixx; with uneven lengths of her pigtails and an expression that tells me she's pissed off right now. And her eyes were a startling violet. She definitely was a bad girl style.

A player and a bad girl.

Who wouldn't be perplexed?

"Uh, you guys can sit at the table beside Patrick and Tyler, right in the back," Ms. Bustier said, her hands flying nervously in the air.

As I walked the aisles, I swooped a look at the twinkling as at me. They looked surprised and somewhat admiring. The only person that wasn't staring at me was Chloe, but I don't count her as a person.

I watched as Trixx's hand smoothly went over the desk, looking excited.

Ah, girls can be so emotional.

As soon as it was lunch and as soon as I stepped out of the classroom, I was yanked into the corner of investigation.

Plagg glared me, a hand on my shoulder.

I smiled a fake smile. "What, no heartfelt welcomes?"

Plagg rolled his eyes. "I told you Wayzz, don't come looking for me."

I raised both hands. "Hey, I'm not here to come looking for you. I'm here because I have to. It's part of the bait. And I don't go against Master Fu's words, no matter what."

Plagg screwed his eye brows together, confused. "What bait—"

Tikki popped out of nowhere, peeking over Plagg's shoulders. Her eyes gleamed. "Wayzz! Long time no see!" she squealed.

"Hey, Tikki," I smiled.

"Hey, no flirting with my girlfriend," Plagg warned me.

I rolled my eyes. "Well, back to business. I'm not here because I want to. It's part of my job as being a human, I think. And I'm here to make sure nothing bad happens."

Plagg cocked his head. "What do you mean nothing bad—"

Trixx popped out of thin air and she head locked me casually. "Let's go eat, Wayzz. Who knew human food was so delicious?" She said my name by droning on and emphasizing the two z's.

Plagg and Tikki just froze.

I liked to see their dumbfounded faces.

"Trixx?" they both yelled at her at the same time.

Trixx turned to them. Every time she moved, her lopsided pig tail would slap me across the face and it was so annoying. I tried to un head lock my head but she was too strong.

"Yo, what's up," she said casually.

But I knew that she was bubbling with excitement. She wanted to see them so badly.

"Trixx?" they both gawked once more.

"Come on, Wayzz, lunch," Trixx urged me as she dragged me behind. I pulled away from her grasp and rubbed my sore neck.

"I thought you wanted to see them," I pointed out.

Trixx's pupils stared out into the distance. Then she looked up at me, the emotions emptied out from her eyes. "Let's go, Wayzz, I'm hungry," she chirped.

I thought she looked somewhat wistful. But I let it pass.

"I thought Master Fu would never let you free," I voiced my thoughts. "He never liked bending rules or even breaking the smallest ones."

Trixx shrugged. "He must've felt bad for me." Then she paused. "Hey, actually, you should feel bad for me too. No sympathy for me?"

I rolled my eyes.

"You deserved it," I cried.

I saw a glimpse of Tikki and Plagg morphed with their partners, rustling past us. I could see Marinette and Adrien's surprised faces when Trixx head locked me a second time. Then I saw Plagg's I'm-not-done-with-you look.

I shot him an I-don't-care look.

Seriously, some people need to grow up.

I actually had the first chapter written out so it was easier to write out the second one. Good day/night my friends! Don't forget to followwwwww! <3
