Pink blinked at the large laboratory. From what she heard, this was the scientist club and they needed help. She sighed as she stepped inside to see chaos.

"Oh!" A female scientist ran over. "Are you here to help?" Pink nodded.

"What's going on?" The scientist smirked.

"My name's Professor Pine. And the problem..." She pointed. "A Kabuto escaped its ball and freed some of the others. Can you please catch them?" Pink smiled and nodded. "Thank you!" With a smile, Pink threw her two pokemon out.

"Skully! Scissors!" The two deltas smiled as they appeared. "Skully, you take the Kabuto and Scissor, you take the others." The deltas smiled as they went to defeat the pokemon. Pink waited a moment before smiling and pulling out 4 pokeballs. She closed her eyes and grinned as she tossed the balls. There was silence. Skully and Scissor came back with the 4 pokeballs. The scientists stared in amazement.

"Incredible!" Pink chuckled as she took the pokeballs and handed them to Pine.

"Thank you so much!" Pink nodded and left.

"No! Skully please!"

Skully jumped up and down with excitement. Pink groaned. They were in the Rezzi Cave. They had gotten to the back of the cave when they heard voices.

"Leave my family alone."

"Hand over the paper."

"This? Here. Leave my family in peace."

"Very well."

The man went back down the hole. The cultist chuckled.

"Well then... Knock Knock."

"Who's there?"

"Boom."

The hole that the man went down crumbled. The cultist smiled.

"Let's go. Helios City. Where the augur sits..." As the cultists were leaving, the lead cultist turned and bowed to her. She blinked as they vanished from her view. She shook her head and continued until she ran into Forest.

She quickly defeated him and told him what just happened.

"Oh no, no, no! No! We have to go warn the augur that there are cultists coming to kill him!" She nodded as they ran to Helios City.

The two arrived at Helios and split up. They met up at the department store.

"We have to go through the sewers. The tower's locked up." Pink placed a hand on his shoulder. He glanced up at her and smiled. She smiled back. They raced through the sewers until they reached the Black Market. The duo walked through until they got to the under-tower entrance. As they entered, they heard a conversation.

"You know that he's going to find out, right?"

"Yeah..."

"And you know what he's going to do when he finds out, right?"

"Yeah..."

"So what are you going to do about it?"

"Die in a hole."

"No, no, no, no. Have you been listening to your therapist at all?"

"No... not since the last one went into a coma..."

"Have you been sleeping?"

"For the most part... except when I was almost attacked..."

"What did Audrey say about this?"

"She scowled me and told me to pass out after I was done in Vupik City."

"She, ugh..." There was a moment of silence. "You need help, ok?"

"Am I doing this alone? If I was doing this alone, I'd be dead already. The cause of it, who knows."

"You, ugh... you need more people. More allies. More... friends."

"Says the person who's friends became enemies with one decision."

"Paul... shut up."

"I'm Percy right now. Remember, I have to be in that... deathtrap soon enough."

"Ok, ok. My bad."

"Um..."

"What Taen?"

"We have visitors."

"Shit."

The people turned to them. One was the man from the lab. Taen was pretty much in the middle of the two. The last one was hidden in a purple cloak. His eyes were the only thing peaking out.

"Ah... you're the two that were at the lab, right?" The duo glanced at each other.

"Yeah..." Forest paused.

"Well... why don't you come over here for a moment?" Pink frowned.

"No... we have to get to the Jade Tower-"

"It'll be quick. Besides... you're in the Perfection Base. I don't like people just walking through here." Pink and Forest gulped and exchanged looks.

"Ok..." Pink gulped again. "What do you want us to do?" Reukra smiled softly at them.

"Double battle." He turned to the cloaked figure. "If you don't mind." The person sighed.

"If it keeps me away from the tower... I'm fine with it." Reukra smiled. He then turned back to the duo.

"I want to test something in battle. One on one double battle. The winner keeps going." Pink smirked.

"Skully! Let's take this fight down!"

"Wartortle! Help me out!"

The two mid-evolved deltas appeared. Reukra smiled at that.

"Ah... I'm glad to see those two with lovely trainers and they've evolved." Pink smirked as the cultists sent out their pokeballs.

"Stunfisk! Let's go!"

"Hydreigon! Let's do this!"

The two pokemon appeared. Reukra let the battle start. Immediately, the cultists mega-evolved.

"What the..." Forest paused. Pink immediately took the battle.

"TWISTER!"

The Hydreigon screeched as the twister slammed into it.

"Ow..."

Pink had managed to win after Forest fell. Taen snarled while the other person chuckled. Reukra clapped. The person turned to him.

"Does this mean I don't have to go up in the deathtrap?" Reukra sighed.

"No." The person groaned. Reukra then turned to the duo. And smiled.

The duo ran up the stairs. They had grabbed their respective mega stones and had gotten mega rings. They were almost to the top.

"You ready, Pink?" She nodded as they raced into the room where the augur was in.

"Mr. Jearn! We..." The duo froze at the lack of cultists. The augur smirked as cultists suddenly surrounded them. A young man stood near him. "What?"

"Pink! Forest! What a lovely surprise!" Pink glanced up at the augur. An evil smile formed. Forest gulped.

"I... I don't get it... why are there Sky Cultists here?" Pink shuddered.

"I think I have an idea..." Jearn's smile widened.

"You may be right, Pink dear... are you possibly thinking that... I'm the leader of the Sky Cult!" The duo winced. Jearn grimaced at Pink. "You should know that in order to summon a legendary pokemon, there needs to be a sacrifice..." Pink paused.

"I will not let either of us die here and now!" Forest glanced at her, confused. She pointed at the man that was beside the augur. "I know that you're the gym leader here..." She pulled out a pokeball. "A fight to the death!" She threw the ball into the air. The man glanced at the augur, who nodded. Scissors appeared.

"In that case... I, East, gym leader of Helios City, accept your challenge!"

East was shocked when his team collapsed. Pink and Scissors were huffing and puffing. Skully never left it's pokeball.

"How... Jear-" He was cut off by a bright light. When the light disappeared, all that was left was a small, green orb. It floated up to Jearn. He smirked.

"Pathetic..." He walked away. Pink snarled, her eyes shifted. Forest placed a hand on her shoulder. She glanced at him. He nodded and turned to the cultists. She smiled and ran after the augur. Forest gulped as he faced off against the cultists. There was a chuckle from the back of the crowd.

"Sorry to intrude but..." Something jumped over the group of cultists and landed next to Forest, stumbling a little. Forest's eyes widened. A snarl came out of some of the cultists. "You're in the way..."

"Purple?" Purple blinked at him. He was shaking and he was pale. Forest blinked. "You good?" Purple nodded.

"I'm not saying anything now... Let's kick these guys out." Forest nodded.

"Jearn!"

The augur turned to see Pink running towards him, Skully and Scissors at her heels. He smirked.

"Rayquaza! Come forth!"

"Destroy her! I should've killed you in Telnor Town!"

Pink gulped as her pokemon slammed into the large dragon.

"We... *huff huff* got them... *huff huff*"

The two boys had managed to take out all of the cultists. Purple leaned against a wall. Forest went over to him.

"Are you ok? You were shaking the entire fight." Purple mumbled something under his breath.

"It's just... I have a fear of heights..." Forest paused.

"But... you're in the sky cult..."  Purple shook his head.

"I'm... not a member... but don't... don't tell Pink... I'm on your side..." Forest paused.

"What do you mean, don't tell Pink? Why not?" Purple took a deep breath.

"How do you know my name?" Forest hesitated. Purple smiled faintly. "That's why I don't want Pink to know who I am yet." Forest frowned.

"And why is that?" Purple grimaced.

"I'll... tell you later... right now, Pink needs help." Forest nodded and started heading towards the roof. "And Forest?" He stopped and looked at Purple. "Utira Library. We'll talk there..." Forest nodded as he turned and went. Purple stood up weakly.

"...See you there..."

"*huff huff* ... I win, Jearn... give it up..."

"No... Rayquaza-"

"SEED FLARE!"

"What!?"

Pink glanced behind her to see Forest with Shaymin.

"Are you ok, Pink?" She nodded weakly. Forest smiled before glaring at Jearn. "You know what? I trusted you... but then you pull this... Shaymin!" Shaymin smiled as it struck the crystal. Jearn cursed as he disappeared. Forest handed Pink the badge and TM that East left.

"Pink... Utira Town is next. Let's go!" Pink chuckled.

"Race you to the center!"

The duo went into the center as the news was about to come on. They talked to the nurse at the counter as the reporter started to speak.

"This is just in that the second augur, Jearn, just saved a miner and his family from a cave collapsation that was caused by the new Sky Cult. Here's what the miner had to say."

'I'm glad that we have such a fabulous augur, cause otherwise me and my family would have been trapped in there forever.'

"Thank you. Now onto the..."

"Wow...." The nurse mumbled as she handed their pokemon back. "Thankfully we have Jearn here."

Pink looked at Forest and their minds clicked. Forest turned around and looked at something. Pink followed his gaze to a boy leaving the center. She blinked before Forest murmured something to her.

"Let's go show Jearn how to really save a region."
