(Rian's pov)
Michael came to us with a proposition involving all the members of our pack. He told us that he could turn Bri and Devin into True Alphas, making my heart leap up to my throat. Devin as a werewolf?!!! He would look so cute with wolf ears.....
"Excuse me, I'm trying to help you get a pack here. Sorry that's such an inconvenience for you."
I snapped out of my thoughts, realising I had zoned out and that Michael was the one speaking to me.
"I'm sorry, please do continue."
Afterwards, everything was carried out rather smoothly, with everyone being aware of their roles in this plan. That was until it came to the issue of combining mine and Austin's souls together. He seemed slightly against it, but only for a moment, before eagerly agreeing.

On the other hand, I wasn't so keen on the idea, for I preferred to keep my mind to myself. If we did this, Austin would be able to invade my privacy whenever he pleases, which caused a wave of uneasiness to wash over me.
"You're all for this, right buddy?" He practically screamed right next to my ear, wrapping an arm around me, as he pulled me into a suffocating side hug.
"I dont know.....is there definitely no other way?" I glanced over to Michael, praying this wasn't the only option, unfortunately the fates clearly weren't on my side today.
"Yep, this is the only way. Now are you in or not?"
Everyone stared at me, expectant looks upon their faces.

My mind wandered back to the image of Devin with wolf ears, my face heating up at this thought.
"Fine,whatever."
Austin's face beamed with a huge grin. This made me smile briefly, though I was still really nervous about doing this.
"Alright now let's begin." Michael called over to us.

Once we performed all the steps and the ritual was completed, my head started to spin. I stumbled fowards, feeling two arms catch me, holding me firmly as they helped me to my feet. I was met with hauntingly beautiful chocolate brown eyes, looking deep into my own with concern. A few moments later, I stepped away from Devin, who I realised was the one that caught me.
"Are you okay?" he asked, whilst standing in a stance that was ready to catch me if I fell again.
"Yeah I'm good, I just felt dizzy for a second."

Behind me, Austin was staring at me with his eyes squinted. Suddenly, I heard his voice, despite the fact his mouth didn't move at all.
Well this is weird isn't it.
"Woah that's really creepy." I backed away from him slightly whilst talking.
"I see it has worked and you can hear each other's thoughts." Michael's voice made me realise he was still there and saw his son catch me. Thinking back to how close Devin had been to me, I once again felt my face heat up. This was responded to with a raised eyebrow from Austin.
Are you blushing? Instead of responding, I just growled at him, causing everyone to give me confused looks.

"Oh god what did Austin do already?" Bri asked with a smirk on her face, as she walked up to him, punching him playfully on the arm.
"Just stay out of my thoughts okay." my voice came out much more threatening than I originally intended, but I decided to lean into it.
Throwing his hands up in the air, he admitted defeat and agreed to give me privacy. I wasn't sure whether or not to believe him. We spent the next twenty minutes changing Bri and Devin into True Alphas.

I watched in awe as Bri shifted into her wolf form. Her fur was pink like candy floss and seemed to have a similar texture. I looked upwards, seeing that her eyes were a light caramel colour. She wasn't exactly threatening, but she was one of us now and I smirked at that fact. Suddenly, I felt the need to stare at her with a sense of utter longing. What the hell???  Then I realised where that feeling had emerged from. I glared at Austin, yet he didn't notice me, for he was drooling over Bri. Sadly, that was quite literally, which made me facepalm. She then shifted back, with wolf ears on her head. Now it was Devin's turn.

He took a step back away from the rest of us, shifting into his wolf form as he did so. My heart started pounding in my chest, to the point it felt as though it would explode. He had fluffy looking brown fur, similar to his regular hair colour. His eyes were just as beautiful as usual, dark and easy to get lost in. Devin wasn't intimidating either, but he seemed to be giving us a gentle look, the way he always looked at his friends. He was such an angel, which was ironic considering his father was the Devil. This was the perfect wolf. After a few moments that seemed to last for an eternity, he shifted back to his regular incubus self, however there were wolf ears on his head instead of his horns. I started internally squealing at this sight, completely forgetting about my new connection to Austin.

He was just so gorgeous and his ears were perfect on him. Was it possible that I'd found my mate? I had previously brushed off this possibility, for we had been different species, so I doubted he ever would've been interested in me. Now we were both True Alpha werewolves. Of course, he was a hybrid, by being two different creatures combined. Snap out of it. UGH!!  Shaking my head, I realised how weak my legs felt, as well as how long I'd been staring at Devin for. I felt extremely embarrassed and avoided eye contact with eveyone until the Devil said goodbye to us. I nodded instead of actually speaking, then he spread his wings, taking off into the clear blue sky.

Bri and Devin wandered off to chat excitedly about their new abilities. All of a sudden, I felt a firm grip on my shoulder. Spinning around ready to attack somebody, I was merely met with the sight of Austin smirking at me. He started laughing at me.
"Hey! Why are you laughing?"
"You like Devin~"
My eyes widened and I slammed my hand over his mouth to get him to shut up.
"No I don't!" I snarled at him, anger and stress boiling up inside of me before I continued "Besides, you like Bri so you can't make fun of me."
"We've already established that I like her. The new information is that you like Devin. Heck, I didn't even think you had enough emotions to have a crush on someone." he started giggling at the end of that last sentence.
"Whatever, just don't tell him, or I'm screaming about your crush on Bri to the entire world."

Speaking of Bri, she came charging up to us with a fearful look in her eyes. I wasn't the only one to notice that, because Austin ran over to her, immediately asking her what was wrong.
"We got jumped by these random werewolves and they took Devin!"
Austin started comforting her, as tears started to spill from her eyes. I felt my vision go red. Clenching my fists and growling, I gained the attention of the other two next to me. I lowered my head to face the ground, hearing faint voices around me. All I could focus on was Devin. Somone has taken him. What if they hurt him? That single thought made me snap, shifting into my wolf form.
