-A few weeks later-

Your POV

I walked over to where stein was. He has been busting his ass all because of me and my damn insomnia. He looked up at me and I signed. He rose a brow setting the book down. "What?" He asked.

I felt the tears fill my eyes and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to his lap. I sat down and buried my face into his chest. He held me firmly by the waist. "What is wrong?" He asked. I looked up and into his worried green eyes. He brought a hand to my cheek wiping the tears.

I let out a shaky sigh and looked down. "What is wrong is that I have insomnia and I can't do anything to help it...I see you sleeping soundly while I'm stuck wide awake watching the damn moon rise and set every night along with the sun every day...I hate not being able to lay next to you and sleep...I hate not being able to have you hold me as we lay in a comfy bed....I hate not being able you see you in my dreams along with bring awake...I hate having insomnia..." I said as more tears spilled from my eyes.

I moved my hands to my face and bawled into them. I heard a shaky sigh and felt cold hands grab mine and pull them from my face. I remained looking down. I watched as the cold pale hands moved from mine to my chin. They brought my (e/c) eyes up to the pair of green ones in front if me.

They looked watered over and ready to let the water burst from them as mine were. He brought a hand to my cheek and gulped as a tear ran down his cheek and over his single line of stitches.

He brought me closer to him and kissed my forehead. "We will find a way to get you to sleep...I promise do you hear me..now stop hating yourself because of something you can't control." He said. I looked down and cried more as he pulled me closer. I clenched onto his lab coat and cried into his chest as he rocked me back and forth and cried silently.

I sat there for about an hour before I crawled out of his grip. I stood and looked at him before I ran out of the door to the only person I could see that may be able to help me with this damn problem of mine...Medusa.

Stein's POV

I watched as she ran out of the lab doors. I fell out of the chair and grabbed my shirt where my heart was. Why does seeing her like this kill me?

I stood slowly and walked to my lab room still holding my chest. I sighed as I sat down and grabbed my paper work. She never did come in here because I told her I had specimens everywhere. The truth is I have every entry in insomnia littered around the lab.

I've been trying to find a way to get her to sleep without drugs since the day she moved in. I was never forced to have her move in with me I was actually the one who volunteered. I had Lord Death tell her that because I didn't want word to travel that I had feelings for a student...but I did since the day I saw her. With her tangled hair and dark ringed eyes. I sighed as I combed through the same paper for the probably the thousandth time. I turned my screw as my eyes skimmed the paper.

I sighed as I rolled to the other side of my lab. I looked at some of the other papers. I smirked. I had an idea. Eureka I've got it (jack skelington any one)

Your POV

I approached Medusa's hide out from the DWMA. I sighed nervously as I walked in. I was met with a tiny Medusa in the body of a girl from whom she stole it.

She looked at me a smirk playing at her lips. "Why are you here... Stein become too much?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "Sorry to disappoint but no." I said. She frowned and leaned back on her snake heads.

She chuckled. "Then why are you here... Here to join me perhaps?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "Drop dead Medusa." I said. She put on a fake hurt face.

She frowned and sat up studying me. I stood there with half open eyes studying her back. She smiled. "Oh is that why?" She asked. I rose a brow.

"Do tell, what is it are you getting at?" I asked. She stepped off of her snakes. "Well that insomnia of yours has been getting in the way of a healthy relationship with Steiny isn't it?" She asked.

I looked at her smirking. "You sound jealous... Why could that be you can't feel love for anyone." I said starting her down. She cackled a little.

"Yes well Stein can't either." She said starting back. "Oh?" I asked. She let out a nod. "Yes much like me, that scientist cannot feel love either." She said.

"But why would he for you even if he could?" She wondered aloud. I stood silent watching her as she paced circles around me. She smirked stopping in front of me.

"But alas... I guess I could help you.." She said. I looked at her skeptically. "What's the catch?" I asked. She looked at me. "Hmm... You'll have to tell me every move the DWMA makes." She said smiling. I looked at her before sighing. "I think I'll pass." I said turning to leave. Something grazed my shoulder. I looked behind me to see Medusa holding several arrows in her hand.

"No one leaves this hideout that easily." She said. I rose a brow at her. "Alright." I said turning around and slamming my hands to the ground making rock surround the little witch. She smirked and smiled. "Cobra cobra snake snake." She said. I watched as arrows shot from her and at me. I moved and ran out of the building. (1043 words)
