Your POV 

I walked over to the island counter. I put my chin on the counter and sighed. Stein came over and I felt his hand on my head. I looked at him and he smiled slightly. He put a plate of food in front of me. "Any new ideas on my insomnia yet?" I asked. He looked at me and tilted his head. "What do you mean?" he asked. I sighed and put my fork down. "I mean...You've been racking your brain about it for the past two days and don't even tell me you haven't been because I can see it in your eyes and you've been turning that damn screw of yours every time you get within three feet of me," I said. 

He sighed and looked down. "I worry about you-you know," I said. I looked at him sitting up slightly. I looked at him an eyebrow raised. He came over and stood in front of me. "Why would you do that?" I asked. He looked at me and then around the room before making eye contact again. "I fear your insomnia is going to get the better of you," he said. I looked down and sighed. "There isn't anything I can do about it Stein I've told you that countless times," I said. He stood and I looked at him. "You need to get some sleep sometime," he said. 

I rolled my eyes slightly. "I'll sleep when I'm dead," I said. He grabbed my wrists and made me look at him. "Don't you ever say that again," he said. I looked at him and he seemed to be a mix of hurt and mad. I got out of his grip. "What else am I supposed to do...there is a chance I'll die tomorrow after school anyway...," I said. he looked at me. "What because of the fight with BlackStar?" he asked. I nodded and looked down. "Then why'd you take the fight?" he asked. I shrugged. "Come on (y/n) you know damn well what he's capable of," he said. 

I turned around. "And you think I don't know that there is a chance I could die...Besides it's not like you aren't going to be there...," I said. He looked at me and sighed. "You knew I'd be there?" he asked lowering his voice. I nodded and looked down. "It's a really stupid assumption...but since you were ready to kill him earlier then I thought you'd want to be there for the fight..," I said in a lower mumble than normal. He walked over and pulled me to him. 

I was met with his chest. I'm not very tall so he must be kneeling. I looked at him and he pulled me closer. "I wouldn't miss it if the world was ending," he whispered. I smiled lightly and wrapped my arms around his neck. He tensed for a brief second before relaxing. He pulled back and stood. "I'm going to go to bed...at least try and get some sleep," he said. He went to walk to the hallway but I stopped him. "Stein..," I said. He turned and looked at me. "I believe that is the first hug you've ever given me," I said. He looked down and nodded. "It's one of the first hugs I've ever given anyone," he said and disappeared into his room. I stood there watching the doorway. What does that mean? 

I looked at my food that I didn't eat. "Might as well finish it," I said. I finished eating it and put the plate in the sink. I walked towards my room and stopped when I was passing Stein's. I heard whisper yelling. "Why the hell can't I help her and her damn insomnia," he said. I walked closer to the door staying away from the bottom of it. I leaned towards it to listen. "Why the hell do I even want to help her so damn much what the hell is wrong with me?" I heard. I sighed and left it be. 

Does he fell  that fascinating word that I asked him about earlier? Was Love it? Yea I think so. Love. So then the professor has feelings for me. But the question is. Do I feel the same for him? Based on what I felt yesterday walking back to the lab I would say so but I'm not an expert on it. I sighed and sat on my bed. If it'll make him happy then I'll get some sleep or at least try. 

-A Few Hours Later- 

I'm awake. Damn. I rubbed my face and stood. I looked at my alarm. 4:30 a.m huh. Hey new record. Stein should be getting up soon. I sighed and walked into the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and sighed. The bags under my eyes have lightened a bit. But that won't matter. That might be all the sleep I'll get for at least another week or so. 

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked out to the living room and passed by Stein's room. Upon passing I heard banging. I turned around and opened the door. I saw him at his desk a smashed kleyboard  on the floor. "Stein?" I asked walking up to him slowly. He turned and sighed. I looked at his hand. Blood. "Why did you smash your keyboard?" I asked. He looked at his hand and sighed. "It doesn't matter," he said and stood. I followed him off to the bathroom. He was shaking and couldn't wrap his hand. 

I grabbed it and started to clean the wounds that were deep. "I know you get annoyed easily but this has to stop," I said. I went to wrap his hand but felt a sharp pain in my cheek. I turned to him dropping his hand. He realized what he had done but before he could grab me I sutured him to the floor and ran out of the lab. I ducked school that day. I would feel his soul getting close to me everynow and then. I forget that I can only stay with in a fifteen feet radius or that move will stop. 

I sighed as everything from last night came back. he was calm and fine. He didn't seem like he was going to do anything. I guess today I drew the line. I even got some sleep for him. I felt water trickle down my cheek. I reached up and wiped it off. It tasted salty. Great I'm crying over my damn professor. What else is next. 

I heard the voices come back. "Why not leave the professor?" one said. I sighed and shook my head. "What good would that do?" I asked. "He wouldn't do this to you again," said another. i sighed and looked around. "I have to fight BlackStar today," I said. "Pfft whatever duck the fight it won't matter you won't win anyway," the first said. i shook my head and covered my ears. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I screamed. 

I felt arms grab me. I looked up and found Stein. I tried to kick him off but it wasn't working. "(y/n)," he said. I stopped and glared at him. "What the hell do you want...here to hit me again?" I asked. He sighed and relaxed a bit. "No I'm taking you home." He said. I scrambled to stand. "No!...I'm not going  anywhere with you not after what you did," I said. He sighed and snapped his fingers. I looked down and he soul sutured me. I rolled my eyes. "Dammit Stein..I told you no," I said and snapped mine as well. He stopped from walking to me. "Why did I have to teach you that?" he asked. 

I chuckled. "You did because you cared remember?...Everything you've done is because you worry about little old me and my god damn insomnia!" I screamed at him. He looked down and sighed. "No I do what I do because I...," he said. I looked at him and sighed. "You what dammit?" I asked. "I-." he was cut off by BlackStar. "YAHOOO TIME TO FIGHT," he said. I released Stein and he did the same. 

I glared at him before getting into my place. BlackStar chuckled. "where's your weapon?" he asked. I looked at him pass my bangs. "I don't need one," I said. He chuckled and I growled slightly. "You will if you wanna defeat me the all mighty Black-," he said but was cut off when I shot my soul force at him through the ground. He landed on his feet and looked at me. "tsk tsk tsk..that isn't a fair move," he said. "I had to you wouldn't shut your damn mouth," I said. 

He growled and ran at me. I dodged behind him and moved my hand to his back and turned it. "Soul Force," I said. He looked at me with wide eyes before being shot into a tree. He stood and wiped his mouth. "You're good," he said. I rolled my eyes. "Have you forgotten who I lived with?" I asked walking to him. I soul sutured him to the ground. 

I brought my hands up and the same (f/c)  lightning came from them. "Now...This fight is over," I said. I electrocuted him with tmy wavelength and he passed out. His weapon changed and fanned him. "Why would you do that?" she asked. I stopped and turned to her. "He was the one who wanted to fight...and a fight he got and a fight he lost," I said. She sent me an evil glare and I smirked. I looked over to Stein. He looked surprised. "Never doubt me again.." I said. I ran off and jumped into the trees. I heard him call after me but failed when he lost me. 

I can change my wavelength to any one i want. I right now I changed it to some random one. He must have thought I left because he walked over to BlackStar and Tsubaki. He picked up BlackStar and they walked off to the lab. Silly Professor Can't you see? It's love that has You and me.... (1698 Words)
