The First Day {Chapter 1}
(Pls no judge if bad (intentional bad grammar, I'm not an idiot) I haven't written an Aphmau fanfic before, so sorry if the characters are out of character)
Y/N's POV
I yawned as I approached my new school. This is my first year of highschool, freshman year people call it. But these few years are gonna be hard for me. I get enough sleep at night, and go to bed early, but I'm always tired. This is going to probably effect my grades.
I suddenly snap out of my thoughts when I heard my big brother, Travis.
"Hey, Y/N!" He called out.
I lookin his direction and see him walking over with Dante. Dante has been over a lot so I know him.
"Hey, bro." I yawn.
He smiles and grabs my hand, and starts dragging me inside the building.
"C'mon, you have to do a lot of things before homeroom!" Dante exclaims, walking with us.
I yawn and just let my brother frag me to places. First we got my schedule, and got me to my homeroom class. The bell then suddenly rings.
"Well, we gotta get to our class! Cya lil' bro!" Travis waved bye, finally letting go of my hand.
I yawn once more and go inside. Seems like everyone was already there. There were a few seats open, but I decided to sit next to a blue haired boy. I at least want to he waken up if I fall asleep. I put my stuff down and sit myself down. I then debated in my head if I wanted to talk to the guy I sat next to. Well, I might aswell, he might not wake me up if we're not on good terms.
"Hello, I'm Y/N." I said, yawning again.
He turns to me, he seemed startled and nervous.
"H-hi! I-I'm K-Kacey..." He introduced himself.
I smile. He might not seem that bad.
"Wanna.... be friends?" I ask.
"S-sure, why not?"
He smiles at me. 'Damn it, he's cute!' I thought, and felt my face burn up. I yawn again.
"D-didn't get much sleep last night?" He asked in a worried tone.
"No, I'm always tired no matter what I do..." I explain.
Then the announcements went on. I didn't pay attention much, but they said something about going to the auditorium.
"Wanna head there together?" He asks.
I nod and we head over there. It's not as crowded as it should be, there's not that many students in this school apparently. We chose two empty seats and sat down. It wasn't long until a teacher started talking, but getting interupted by who I assume is the principal. Like before, I didn't pay much attention.
She said something about clubs on the field, which I'm guessing is where we're going next. My guess was correct and everyone started to head outside. There were a lot of clubs to look at, but me and Kacey decided to stick together for now.
"So... are you also a freshman?" He asks hesitantly.
I nod and yawn again. Then a blue haired girl came up to us.
"Hey, Kacey! Is this your new friend?" She asks
"Y-yup! This is Y/N!" Kacey introduces me.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N! I'm Kaitlyn, Kacey's big sister." She stuck out her hand for a hand shake.
"Nice to finally meet you, I actually heard a lot about you from my brother." I say, shaking her hand.
"Who's your brother?"
"Travis..."
I scratch the back of my neck nervously as she gives me a surprised look.
"Interesting, but please tell me you're nothing like him!" Kaitlyn exclaims.
"Nothing like him." I yawn.
Her expression turns from concerned to relief as I say that. She sighs and grabs Kacey by the arm.
"Nice meetin' ya bud, but I have to go get my brother into the soccer club now, cya!" She says, dragging him as he waves 'bye' to me.
I wave back and start looking around. I soon run into my casanova of a brother.
"Hey, lil' bro!" Travis greets me.
"Hey." I yawn once more.
"C'mon, I want you to try to get yourself a girl!"
I stared at him for what seemed like forever. The thing is, I'm gay, and he doesn't know. Which I'm planning on telling him today.
"W-we need to talk..." I stutter, grabbing his hand and taking him to a secluded area.
"What's up lil' bro?" He asks
I sigh.
"There has been this thing that I have been meaning to tell you..." I start off.
"What is it?"
There was a moment of silence before I answered.
"I-I'm gay..."
Another moment of silence. He then suddenly hugs me.
"N/N, I accept you for who you are, and as your brother," He starts. "I shall help get you a boyfriend!".
I smile and hug him back, not before yawning of course.
"Thanks, Trav..."
We traveled back to the clubs and I saw a LGBT+ club. I guess Travis saw me looking over there because he started pushing me towards them.
"T-Travis!" I yell.
"Good luck, my tired gay brother!" He yells back, walking off.
I sigh and start talking to them. Long story short, I got into the club. Man, what a day.
I hope you liked it, and sorry if I got any grammar or spelling wrong. But I hope you have a good day/night/evening/afternoon/ect... Bye!
