Sarawat's POV
I left the cafe and went back to the hotel. I felt like it was a waste because I didn't think Tine would leave like this. There is something blocking him. Something that is making him not letting me in. I test Tine yesterday when he came to get his wallet and the plan was to test if he still has feelings for me.
I purposely came out naked in front of him, teased him, and played with him. When I stared into his eyes, I wanted to kiss him but I did everything in my power not to. But today, he acted as if he didn't care and after being three years apart. He's still hurt.
"Ai Wat, you're back early." Khai said as I flopped on the couch of our hotel. "How did it go with Tine?" He asked.
"He still doesn't want to get back together. He refuses to let me in and I don't know what else to do. Maybe.......I should give up" I said and Khai slapped me in the arm hard.
It pained me but I didn't flinch.
"This is not you Wat. You never give up. You've worked so hard to find yourself after you lost yourself two years ago. You been through hell and came back and you're telling me after one conversation, you want to give up?" Khai questioned me.
"Maybe Tine....hasn't forgiven the past." Third said.
"Hoi! Ai Wat, didn't you say you saw Tine at the Thai Villa and you saw a guy with him?" Khai asked me and I nodded. "I bet that guy is his boyfriend. No wonder why he rejected you." Khai come up with.
"Ai Khai, don't make assumptions like that. He could just be Tine's co-worker or friend." Third told him.
I've had that assumption for awhile about that guy being Tine's boyfriend but at the same time, I wasn't sure. If he does have a boyfriend, I've lost him.
"Co-worker or friend or even boyfriend, Wat you need to claim your territory. Remind Tine that you are his and no one else." Khai said.
"Then how do I do that?" I questioned him.
"Tonight there is a party to celebrate one of the actors birthday on set at a club. I can invite Tine and this will give you a opportunity to talk and maybe the alcohol can get rid of some of that bad tension between you two." Khai explained his plan while he pokes my arm.
"So your plan is to get Tine drunk and make him so uncomprehensive that he can barley even understand anything?" Third said and I knew this plan sounded crazy. Tine will not get careless enough to get drunk.
"Not that drunk but just a little. We want him to tell Wat how he truly feels about him. Everybody knows you start spilling the truth when your drunk." Khai said.
I guess that's true. Drunk talks are sober thoughts.
"I'm in." I agreed without a second thought. At this point, I'll try anything to get Tine to talk to me again.
"Great I'll call Tine and invite him." Khai said as he began to call Tine. "Hello Tine? My favorite chic boy. It's been awhile since we talked and saw each other. Let's get out tonight and have some fun." Khai said over the phone.
I'm hoping Tine will say yes and come out tonight.
"I'm here on a business trip and me and Third are going to a birthday party at a club. I would really like for you to come and hangout for a bit." Khai said as he smiles at me pretty big. "You will come? Great, I'll see you tonight. I'll send you the address right now." He said as Khai quickly hung up the phone.
"He's really coming? That easy?" I asked surprised.
"Was there really any doubt? Tine and I are good friends." Khai said and I roll my eyes. At least he has a good relationship with him.
"I'm gonna go pick out what I'm gonna wear tonight." I said as I grab my suitcase that's beside my nightstand.
**********
This is the plan that Khai made up. When Tine comes, he's gonna offer him a couple of shots and then I swoop in and try to talk to him. It shouldn't be that hard to woo him. Flirting is my best quality. The club was full of the entire cast and film team. It really was a birthday party in here. The music was loud and people are literally dancing and drinking their hearts out.
I've been to the club many times so I'm use to the atmosphere. I wasn't dancing or talking to anyone, I just sat by the bar and watched the door a couple of times to see if Tine showed up or not. I really hope tonight goes well.
"Hey, you've been starring at the door the entire time you got here. Missing a date or something?" A bartender asked me.
"Is it really that obvious?" I questioned him awkwardly.
"So obvious. Who are you waiting for?" He asked me. I'm debating if I should tell him. Well it's not like I'm gonna see this guy again so why not.
"My ex boyfriend. I'm trying to get him to talk to me tonight. That's why I'm here." I admit to him.
"Great place to talk to someone when the music is so loud." He said and I can just hear the sarcasm. "Have this. It's free so don't worry about paying me." The bartender said and I gladly expected his drink.
"Thanks." I said and I suddenly felt a gush of wind. I shivered as I looked at the door for probably the 50th time.
My eyes widened when I see Tine but it darkened when I saw.....him. Tine didn't come alone tonight and in fact, he brought the same guy I saw outside the restaurant. Why did Tine bring him here? This was not part of the plan. Gosh I just want to know what's his relationship with him.
I watch Tine with a big smile on his face as I watch him approach Khai and Third. They exchanged hugs as I drank the entire shot in one go before I made my way over their.
I approached behind Khai's back.
"Oh, Ai Wat, look who came tonight." Khai pushed me in front of him as I stand in front of Tine. The smile that was one his face turned into a frown.
"Wait a minute. I remember you. You were that....guy at the Thai Villa." The guy said that Tine brought.
I'm kind of glad that he remembers who I am. So he knows that I am not a stranger that grabbed Tine's arm.
"You two met?" Khai asked him.
"I thought he was a stanger but I didn't know he knew Tine. Sorry for mistaking you as a outsider." He told me.
Shit! He's playing the nice guy. He apologizes to me in front of my friends but I bet he's a jerk. No guy this handsome is all respectful.
"I'm Sarawat." I decided to formally introduce myself. I offered out my hand.
"I'm Tommy." He gladly shook it as I show him my fakest smile. I shook his hand firmly and tight as me and him stare at each other.
Making sure he knows that I am not all kind. He doesn't seem frightened and that's when I felt his strong grip as well. This guy better watch it because I will make him a enemy. I eventually let go of his hand but we still kept eye contact.
"Uhh....let's get some drink." I heard Tine suggesting as I saw him walking away and going towards the bar. I have one last stare at this Tommy guy before I followed Tine to the bar.
Everyone else seemed to joined us as well as I sat right next to Tine. The bartender gave all four of us shots.
"So Tommy how did you and Tine meet?" Khai suddenly asked.
"At school. On Tine's first day, we met. I helped him durning his classes and showed him around campus." Tommy admitted.
"Tine grew up so much. I barely recognized him after he left home three years ago." Khai said.
"Really? I think he is the same cute boy that I met three years ago." Tommy said as he stares at Tine.
This guy definitely likes Tine. Otherwise, he wouldn't be starring at Tine like that.
"Oohh, you guys must be together?" Khai asked. I turn my head to look at him. A glared at him actually.
"We are not dating. We are just friends." Tine answered for him.
I felt Khai's hand hitting my leg as he smiles at me. So Tine is still single and he's not dating Tommy. At least that gives me a peace of mind.
After we chatted and drink a couple of shots. It still felt like Tine hasn't got drunk or intoxicated yet. He barley drank anything. In fact, he just talk to Tommy the whole time. He hasn't bother to talk to me once tonight. So far this plan isn't going too well.
I decided to leave the bar since Khai is distracted with Third and Tine is spending more time with Tommy. This already feels like a bad night. As I made it to the quiet area of the club, I saw Tommy sitting right next to me.
Actually I'm not sure what his reasoning is for siting her but I rather be alone right now.
"Are you and Tine close?" Was the first thing he asked me.
"Why you asked?" I questioned him.
"He's never mentioned of talked about you before. I was familiar with his friend Khai but not you." Tommy admitted.
Still not understanding his reasoning for sitting next to me.
"Tine and I are closer then you think." I told him.
"Really? How close?" He questioned me surprised. Is he trying to push me? Because I feel very interrogated right now.
I look at Tommy as I see a smirk on his face as he awaits for me to answer his question. I smirk back at him as I lay myself back while I cross my leg.
"Well we slept together so I think that makes us pretty close." I told him and I can tell he wasn't expecting that answer. "In fact, we were in love. So in love that we could die for each other." I admit to him and it's true. I would die for Tine.
I saw Tommy slowly placing his cup of alcohol down on the mini table in front of us.
"Now I know why he's here. Tine came to New York to get away from you, isn't it?" Tommy questioned me and I pause. "Tine is such a innocent and sweet person. I wouldn't dare try to break his heart so why did you?" He questioned me and I sit up straight.
"It's none of your business." I told him.
"I already analyzed you enough. You're bad for Tine and it's shame that he to leave home because of you. A guy like him shouldn't have to suffer." Tommy told me.
"You think you're any better!" I sort of shouted at him.
"Yes, I'm perfect for Tine. In fact, I care about him. He's my best friend and a guy that I want to take care of for the rest of my life." Tommy admitted to me.
"So what? You came all the way over to tell me you're in love with Tine?" I question him.
"I came over here to tell you to give up. I want you out of Tine's life so I can make him happy. As long as you're here, he can never move on." He told me and I scoff.
"I'm not giving up that easily. You haven't known him longer than I have." I stated to him.
"You're right. I haven't known him longer but I known him long enough to make him happy. Every time Tine is with me, he's always happy." Tommy tells me and I began to stand up from the couch forcefully.
"Listen here, Tine is mine. I don't know what kind of relationship that you build with him in the last three years but it's clear to me that this is just a one sided love. If Tine really wanted to be with you, you would have already gotten him." I told him.
I saw Tommy standing up from the couch as he looks at me angrily.
"Hey listen, Tine would have already been mine if he wasn't worried about you. You're making him even more sadder just being here." He stated.
"Ooohh is that so? Well that means I'm constantly in his mind and that bugs you right?" I questioned him as I smirk.
"Fine you can be a dick all you want but the fact remains that you are not good enough for Tine." Tommy insulted me and I had enough of him saying that to me.
I grab ahold of his collar on his shirt and pulled him closer forcefully as we just give each other death stares.
"Ai Wat!" I heard Khai shouting at me. "Let go of him. Come on." He tries to tell me but I ignore.
"Ai Wat! Stop!" I heard another voice and this time I listen to the command. I turn my head a little to see Tine looking at me.
I looked back at Tommy as I see his change of eyes. No longer mad but scared.
"Listen, you have no idea what me and Tine been through so it's best if you stay out of it." I told him lastly as I let go and push him on the couch hard.
I felt Khai's arm pulling me as he moves me away from the scene. As I made it towards the exit of the club, I saw Tine sitting next to Tommy and checking up on him.
I didn't even hit him so why you check up on him Tine?
