As we continue walking I can't help but feel as if someone or...something is watching me.
Eh, it's probably just an animal or something in the trees, (right?) I've always loved animals!

I wonder what kind it is?

And now back to our (not) regularly scheduled program! X3

??? POV~

I watched from the shadows as the three venture further into the Unknown.

"Heh" I breathlessly chuckle under my breath as the tall cheery one leads them, all of a sudden they-she turns around to face the trees where I'm hiding.

I try not to move to alert suspicion. As she looks I notice her attire,

She's wearing an outfit made out of the forest? And there are branches and flowers lining her arms and legs.

And her face big bright (e/c) eyes with curiosity dancing in them. Black (Plump/skinny/whatever) lips and a branch traveling up her neck to her cheek right under her left eye. She's bea-

I shake the thought out of my mind shaking my head slightly in the process.

I look to her again and-only for a moment, we make eye contact... her eyes are hypnotic. We hold the gaze if only for second but it feels like hours. She looks away. I'm stunned but continue my thoughts.

She must be a forest spirit, but that's strange...I've never seen her before, and plus if she's a spirit why is she helping humans?

Hmm...

interesting...

I'll have to look into her.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts from the weirdly tall gnome talking to the spirit. It seems she's noticed my presence. I grin.

Good...

They start walking away so I glide through the shadows after them.

(Y/n)'s POV

The feeling of being watched grows so much that I can't stand it anymore, I quickly turn around to face the brush 'only bushes and trees? I could have sworn-'  "(y/n)?" I hear Wirt say behind me "Is something wrong?" at first I don't respond. I just stand and stare at the tree line some more, 'I swear I could see something moving- wait'

"Y..Yeah, yeah I'm fine....I just. I thought I saw something" I turn towards him with a smile. "It's probably an animal or my imagination playing tricks on me" I wave off his worry with a chipper attitude.

Even if there was something following us, I wouldn't want to scare them. I already had enough trouble not scaring them when we first met but it's even harder now entering the unknown,

Oh well~.

But that light-No, The eyes. They were hypnotic, even though I only made contact with them for a second. They shall be forever burnt in my mind.
