Within the middle of nowhere in Ireland, you could see Zai and Moona travelling at high speeds across the open fields as they were talking the same time.

Moona: "So Zai. Care to explain your side of the story?"

Sonzai: "Of what story?"

Moona: "About your family. I know it might be prying, but it's late at night and we aren't in contact with anyone else right now."

Zai then stopped as Moona slowed down to turn to him, walking up to him to receive an answer from him. Yet Zai had a visible scowl on his face as this wasn't something he wanted to talk about.

Sonzai: "You're just being like everyone else right now..."

Moona: "Being like what?"

Sonzai: "All of you are the same. Why question about my family? Why is my family so important when they're gone!?"

Zai was definitely pissed off as he couldn't hold it in at this time. Moona sighed as she walked up to him, putting her hand on his shoulder.

Moona: "I apologize for bringing back some bad memories Zai. However, how can I understand you if you never reveal more about yourself? How can you expect everyone to understand you if you don't open up?"

Sonzai: "I get that, but it just isn't your business Moona."

Moona: "It ain't, but I'm willing to help. I've heard from Yagoo about you, yet I understand. I won't pry into it further, however, just know that I'm willing to listen if you want to share. You can't hold it in forever Zai. People will have to learn the truth, including me."

Zai then began walking ahead.

Sonzai: "So what? It isn't their business and I don't intend to get others involved with what I do."

Moona rolled her eyes as she followed by his side at the same pace.

Moona: "Well we're both involved with an immediate threat that we don't understand at the moment. So eventually the Omni Magician will get involved as well."

Sonzai: "Leave Lukas out of this Moona. He doesn't need to get involved."

Moona: "Oh? You know him?"

Sonzai: "He's in the Academy, however he is inexperienced. He isn't ready for what the real world has to offer, and he doesn't need to know the truth about me. We can handle this without his help."

Moona: "Sheesh Zai. You need to understand that he may be inexperienced, but he has to learn and experience things sooner or later. We can't keep the birds in the nest forever as they have to leave the nest eventually. I get what you and Yagoo are doing, but without the Omni Magician, I doubt we will be able to take on this threat entirely. Besides, I've studied a bit on your Magic Zai. Your Chaos Magic is powerful, but it only thrives off of Chaos. If there's non-existent Chaos, then your power is rendered useless. My power being that of Lunar Magic is more powerful during the night, but during the day, I'm rendered useless as well. We can't do everything Zai."

Sonzai: "And I get that Moona. You don't need to say much more."

But as Zai finished what he was saying, he noticed something in the distance as they had no choice but to hide. Once they hid, they noticed a strange hovering machination that hovered near their location. It had mechanical tendrils as its glassy red lensed eyes scanned the field. Zai and Moona both managed to get a better look at what it was. 

It was one of the Scouters.

Moona: "That must belong to the group, meaning that the base ain't far from here."

Sonzai: "Agreed. We maintain distance and follow it to its base."

The two settled on an agreement to follow the Scouter as it finishes its routine and began to turn back and move on. So the two followed the machination as they went to where it came from, yet they kept their distance as they noticed that it was a remote location in the middle of nowhere, far away from the populations of Ireland. The base itself was rather small looking as Zai could immediately tell that the base was not a main one, but he could imagine it to be a somewhat checkpoint to a degree. 

Both him and Moona could see the Scouters roaming about, but Zai then recognized some of the other robots, which were the ones he encountered back in the Bermuda Triangle with the class, the Gunners.

Zai narrowed his eyes as he had a bit of memories when it came to these ones.

Moona: "Looks like this is their base. In the middle of nowhere, far from most populations. This is definitely it."

Sonzai: "Yeah... However, this doesn't seem to be their main headquarters as it's too small to be one. Yet, I could feel a presence inside, meaning that someone is inside."

Moona: "Yeah, whoever it is, it's definitely not a friendly."

Sonzai: "Right. We could try to go in the stealthy way, or we could go in full kamikaze. Your choice."

Moona: "Since we don't know what we're dealing with, we need to approach this with caution. So I advise that we use the stealthy option."

Sonzai: "Well that's no fun, but you're right. Once we get inside, we take down the baddie, shut down their operations around here and also collect as much information as we can."

Moona: "Simply put, but we should hurry before we're spotted."

Zai then nodded his head as the two blitzed at incredible speeds to make sure they weren't detected by the robots and security guarding the base. Yet they managed to sneak past all of the robots, getting inside to only discover an elevator, which they took down. Zai sighed as he wasn't finding this fun at all, but he then noticed a camera.

Sonzai: "It would appear that we'll be expected when we head down."

Moona then noticed it too, making her feel a bit sad as she sighed.

Moona: "Man, here I thought we were going to succeed this stealthy like..."

Sonzai: "You a clumsy person?"

Moona: "At times."

Sonzai: "I see."

The two waited until the elevator opened, only to see some of the Gunners waiting for them, which made Moona instantly release a wave of bright energy, which was her Lunar Magic to destroy the Gunners instantly. Zai blinked at how quick she did it as she walked on out of the elevator.

Moona: "We should get going, we need to head to the source of the presence."

Sonzai: "Y-Yeah right..."

He snapped out of his amazement as they ended up having to fight through the robots as they head onwards. The base was what Zai predicted, the interior mostly having tight corridors and different rooms, assumingly for staff at one point. Yet this could mean that this base was founded a long time ago, but the place is high tech, seemingly confusing to Zai to say the least. 

Yet they did manage to break into the main room of the base, which was fairly large in comparison to the small rooms that was scattered across the whole base. This room seemed to be a room that would hold meetings and a lot of archived data. On the other side were a set of large screens as a figure stood there with his arms behind his back crossed.

???: "I should've known that someone would be breaking into this place. I didn't expect it to be the great Sonzai and Moona Hoshinova."

The figure turned around, revealing himself to them.

Moona: "Who are you?"

???: "I'm Merryweather. But you can call me Merry if you'd like~"

He had a confident smirk on his face as he seemed a bit smug. Zai could tell that he must've been some form of high ranking officer during a particular point judging by his attire. However Zai could tell two things from him. The first one being that he is of the Supernatural due to him not using his Glamour. The second feeling a strange mixture of familiarity and something he has never felt before. 

The presence to Zai was a mixture of something somewhat divine, but yet at the same time, there was a hidden spark to it as it felt similar to Lukas Misaki's when he lost control at one point. He didn't understand why he could feel that, but he remained calm as he looked up to meet his gaze.

Sonzai: "Well then Merry. What is this place and what's your role?"

Merry seemed rather surprised that his enemy would be asking him such a question, but he obliged.

Merryweather: "Well unfortunately I cannot give the details of milord now can I?"

Moona: "Your lord?"

Merryweather: "Me spilling everything would be no fun, besides he would also have my head if I did so. However, you did invade this place so, you both are my enemies."

He then leaped down from where he was as he landed on the ground, standing up as he took his cap off, tossing it to the side.

Merryweather: "I'm aware of what you both can do~ Hoshinova's Lunar Magic is quite powerful, yet since it isn't a full moon, I won't be having much trouble. And as for you Sonzai, your Chaos Magic is rather unique. Not many could have the power you possess. You must be quite special~"

Moona: "Zai, we need to be on alert. We don't know what he can do yet."

Zai simply nodded in silence as Merry had his left hand rested on the handle of his sheathed sword.

Merryweather: "It's quite smart of you to take on such a cautious approach, but how long do you think that'll last~?"

Zai then decided to take the initiative immediately as he charged forward, attempting to land a powerful flying kick, however Merry raised his right hand. When Merry's right hand made contact with Zai's foot, Zai was immediately hit back by a shockwave, forcing him to backflip onto his feet as he landed, confused on what that was.

Merryweather: "A strong kick~ You definitely have some strength behind that."

Moona was next as she charged forward at amazing speeds, attempting to hit him with a powerful attack with her Lunar Magic, however Merry didn't bother as he raised his right hand again. This time before Moona could even made contact, she ended up clashing against a light blue barrier that could be seen as a barrier made out of Mana, however what was off about it was its star-like pattern designs that flowed through it. 

Moona: "What?"

Moona was surprised while she was still clashing, yet the barrier was swirling into the centre, like as if it was pulling all of the power Moona was using into it, until it essentially exploded into a shockwave that knocked Moona across the room into the wall. Zai was surprised by this as Moona managed to recover onto her feet.

Sonzai: "What the hell was that...?"

Merryweather: "A lot of power behind that one~ Come on you two, instead of facing me one on one, how about you two face me together?"

Sonzai: "Shut up!"

Zai then charged in, attempting to land some punches and kicks, but it didn't seem to work as he was just dodging with ease. Moona joined in as well, using her Lunar Magic to try and manoeuvre around him to get advantages, yet he was able to keep up with the two. Merry was just constantly dodging, chuckling while talking at the same time.

Merryweather: "You two are holding back against me which is quite a shame~"

Zai then managed to actually land a solid hit to Merry's right cheek, however he didn't even flinch as Moona went in for an elbow to Merry's spine, yet flinching only a little. Yet what caught both Zai and Moona off guard is that he ended up releasing a shockwave that knocked the two away again. Yet as the two landed on their feet, they could feel that their powers were drained slightly.

Merryweather: "A valiant effort you two~ You both managed to finally land a hit each, but it only tickled~"

Merry chuckled maliciously in a mocking tone as he is somehow aware that both Moona and Zai are holding back. 

Moona: "What are you?"

Merryweather: "Well since you asked lady, I might as well explain~ For you see, I have a unique form of Magic~ It isn't well known, but I technically developed it myself~ I call it, Galaxy Magic~"

Sonzai: "Galaxy... Magic...?"

Merryweather: "Indeed~ I'm afraid that's all I can share for you both~ As since you won't take me seriously, I'll just have to force it out of you both!"

Merry then drew his sword as it was beginning to glow a strange combination of blue and black. The presence itself felt very familiar to Zai again as he started to figure it out slowly.

Sonzai: "That's a form of darkness isn't it..?"

Merryweather: "Ding ding, you got that right~"

Merry was tapping his own head in a mocking gesture as he had an evil smirk as he swung his blade diagonally as he released a wave of energy that forced Zai to dodge, yet Merry swung around doing the same thing to Moona as she had to dodge as well.

Merry ended up beginning an onslaught of energy slashes towards the both of them as he was increasing the speed and intensity in each slash, making it harder for Zai to dodge, but Moona was able to dodge most of them with relative ease due to her Magic.

Yet the battle continued as Moona and Zai focused on trying to find a weakness to Merry's attacks and patterns as they didn't understand what this so called Galaxy Magic is supposed to do. Every attack they attempt would be redirected into a shockwave that would send them back, giving Merry opportunities to attack. Every attack the two landed would release a shockwave that would knock them back again, but also drain portions of their power which is confusing as well for the two of them. So they were at a loss for words and lacking answers. 

Moona was continuing to increase the potency of her Magic as she was from time to time releasing blasts of Lunar Magic in an attempt to hit him from afar, but Merry countered most of them by slashing them with ease. Zai was doing his best to figure out a strategy without losing his cool while there's not that much Chaos either as he can't immediately increase his power instinctively. So it was constantly being stuck in a stalemate as both sides can't hit each other no matter what. 

Yet the only reasons why both Moona and Zai are holding back are for two separate reasons. Moona's case is because of the Hoshinova side. If she lets her out, she could possibly cause more problems than good. For Zai, he is doing his best to not release too much power to control himself as he could feel his mental stability deteriorating as the fight continued. He wasn't used to long extended fights nowadays as he usually ended fights really quick rather than have long extended ones. 

Merry was having the time of his life, but slowly he was getting bored as he realized the issue on why they won't take him seriously. Soon, he sent his hand downwards, forcing both Zai and Moona to their knees as the two were struggling to stand back up.

Merryweather: "I think I get it now~ You lot don't want to provoke the Human populations of Ireland do ya~?"

Merry knew he was right as he knows how much they're using their Glamour to hide themselves when they're out there. Zai was able to get back up, even with the pressure as he charged towards Merry, however before anything could happen, a loud booming voice emitted from nowhere.

???: "STOP!"

All the Magic in the room then dispersed as Zai stood in place, feeling an uneasy presence suddenly. Moona could feel the same thing as she was sweating a little as a swirling portal appeared as the first thing that came through was what both Zai and Moona could feel to be what is known as a Construct. A Construct is a creature or being that is technically created by using Magic, being somewhat similar to Necromancy or Summoning, but using an empty body and filling it with Magic and Mana to give it life, obedience and control. However this Construct felt really powerful.

It stood still as the next figure to walk out was the one that gave the command to stop the fight in the first place. She seemed to look young as she had silver-white hair and eyes that have a strange mixture of orange and purple.

Merryweather: "Ah! Miss Hina!"

Merry was surprised to suddenly see her here, yet he was acting like a subordinate that is below her. Yet when Zai had a good look at her, the two made eye contact for a moment.

Hina: "I see this place was attacked by the Vessel of the Moon Goddess, and a monkey with Chaos Magic."

Zai felt offended by that as he made a remark.

Sonzai: "Hey! Don't you dare call me a monkey you bitch!"

Hina: "Such foul language. Is such language necessary Sonzai? And Merryweather, you are to report to my father at once. He has further plans for you as you are valuable to his cause."

Merryweather: "Of course Miss Hina. I'll be off. Oh and Sonzai, I'm sure we'll meet again somewhere down the line~"

Merry then made his way through the portal, but Zai had enough of this as he attempted to attack Hina, but the Construct got on the way and blocked his attack with one finger, surprising him. For the first time in a long time, Zai felt something that he thought he would never feel, fear.

Hina: "Moona Hoshinova, I advise you to control your companion here."

The Construct then headbutted Zai back as he landed on his back a few feet away, his nose bleeding as he could feel it being slightly broken. Moona immediately checked up on him, but she looked back at Hina, attempting to fire a blast of Lunar Magic, however suddenly the Construct began to release a brilliant golden glow that rendered Moona's Magic useless, making her surprised.

Moona: "What the...?"

Hina: "Solar Magic, the counter to Lunar Magic as much as Lunar Magic is the counter to Solar Magic. Two different forms of Magic that is parallel and opposite. A strange law of Nature, but has a balance. My Construct is producing a form of the Sun itself, preventing you from using your Magic. Next time it would be more lethal. So this is a warning for you and the Co-Founders. Don't try to look for us, or you'll pay the consequences."

Hina then was about to leave through the portal, but stopped for a moment, turning for a moment to look at the two.

Hina: "Also, I advise you to leave this place as soon as you can, because this base will be no more."

Hina then left with her Construct through the portal as the portal disappears. Moona and Zai understood what that meant immediately as they both escaped the base as soon as they could. As they managed to get some distance from the base, there was a sudden explosion from within the base as the base was blown to kingdom come, leaving nothing behind. 

So now, all that is left behind is no evidence, strange encounters and the fact that Zai and Moona will have to report back to TEMPUS to discuss what they've discovered....
