As the days went by, Lukas has been wondering to himself if something was really up. Considering that it was about a week ago when he learnt more about Zai's family history from the Second Year student Aia Amare. Yet as the time went on, he was trying to understand why Tanigo wasn't talking to him and why when he tried to get information it would lead to dead ends. It was somewhat infuriating for him since he knew something was up, but the only thing he could do is continue his school days without trying to worry for now. 

Right now he is in the middle of class as he was keeping track of the classes he must attend, Ina went up to his seat.

Ina: "Hey Lukas."

Lukas: "Oh hey Ina... What's up?"

Ina: "I was wondering if you're alright..."

Ina had a somewhat concerned expression on her face as she could tell that something was wrong based on how Lukas has been acting ever since the first day of the Second Semester. 

Lukas: "I'm fine... Just having a lot on my mind..."

Ina: "I see... Well I was wondering on if you wanted to talk about it?"

Lukas: "I'm sorry... but I don't want to talk about it... It just feels like something I need to deal with myself... There's no need to worry Ina.."

Lukas did his best to put on a soft smile, showing that he appreciated Ina's concern. Though he wasn't sure if he should tell the truth or not about what has been really going on. Yet from time to time, he had noticed Ina hanging around Amelia Watson, making it even more suspicious at times. He just didn't understand on why he is being kept in the dark while others are possibly knowing what is going on. So the best option he could think of is just act dumb and figure things out his own so he could find the answers.

Zaion was looking on from the side lines at her desk. She found it suspicious that Lukas ain't really sharing with Ina, who she knows as one of Lukas' close friends ever since the beginning of the year. So understandably she would find this awfully suspicious, which she turns her head to Dropscythe who was just got to class.

Zaion: "Hey Dropscythe. You aware of what's going on with Misaki?"

Dropscythe then looked at Lukas, noticing that he is being rather off recently as he could understand that he can be a bit nervous at times, but this is a whole new level of something else. 

Dropscythe: "Honestly, I don't. He seems to be a bit paranoid about something."

Dropscythe then took his seat as Zaion continued talking to him.

Zaion: "It is rather strange as I don't like it. We will have to confront him about it sometime."

Dropscythe: "I mean we could, but what's the point if we can't get through to the bastard in the first place?"

Zaion: "There's only one way to find out."

Dropscythe sighs as he finds this rather annoying.

Dropscythe: "When did you become so persistent?"

Zaion then turns her head away, her face turning slightly red as she didn't say anything else, but Dropscythe continued.

Dropscythe: "Very well. We'll need to confront him sometime, however we can't do it during the school hours."

Zaion: "Agreed."

Suddenly Akuma-Sensei entered the classroom as he asked all the students to take their seats. Soon as everyone did so, he seemed like as if he wanted to tell the whole class about something.

Vox: "Well everyone, as far as when it comes to teaching you all, it can be overwhelming at times especially with the strange things that have been happening recently. However in order to improve our regimens, I would like to introduce my assistant teacher. Could you please come in?"

Soon enough someone walked through the door, though she had an interesting aura to her as she stood in front of the class. She was wearing some form of Japanese design kind of attire as she had a calming but yet warming smile to her. 

???: "Hi honeys~ I'm Nina Kosaka~ I'll be the assistant teacher for History lessons~ But you all can call me Nina instead of Kosaka-Sensei, or you could just call me Kosaka-Sensei alright~?"

(Remember she is using Glamour, but in this case, she is using Divine Glamour)

Lukas couldn't really describe he was feeling when sensing her presence as she gave off something really powerful, but yet not at the same time. Yet even after she was introduced to the class, the History lesson wasn't that different, except for the fact that Kosaka-Sensei managed to help out some of the students when it came down to taking notes.

Both Akuma-Sensei and Kosaka-Sensei were very friendly, which technically made the atmosphere really relaxing and enjoyable to be in. Soon enough, it was time for the next lesson which was Magics Class. So Lukas and the whole class went on to the next lesson, though what was strange was that there was another person who ended up being an assistant teacher in place of Magni Dezmond while he was away.

This individual had a strange aura that sometimes made Lukas feel like he wanted to throw up at times since it didn't feel alive, yet it was similar to Calli's to a degree, but very different at the same time, with something else in the mix. This individual technically did look young to be compared as an assistant teacher, but he wouldn't really judge anyways. This new assistant teacher of the Magics Class is Reimu Endou, who didn't want to be called any honorifics and preferred to be called Reimu. 

Yet with Reimu Endou being the new assistant teacher, not much was really different besides the teaching style she would introduce in the process. She would be a little forceful, but in a kind way. It wouldn't make sense to most, but she does tend to come off as a bit harsh at times, but with good intentions. 

Soon enough, the Magics Class was over as the next lesson of the day was going to be the last one as it was Combat Class. When they all arrived there, they noticed that the new assistant teacher seemed to be a Manager, yet Lukas wouldn't really know much about what a Manager would be in the first place. Yet he would go along with it as he had a bad feeling about it.

Zentreya: "Alright Class 1A. This is my new assistant teacher, Enma."

Enma: "It's a pleasure to meet you all Class 1A. As you all know, I'm a Manager who works directly under Yagoo, yet I was given the opportunity to assist in teaching you students."

Enma was having a neutral expression as she was expressing her gratitude. However she was eyeing the students at the same time, until her gaze met with Lukas' as she narrowed her eyes. Lukas seemed to be the only one who noticed this as he was sweating a little. The lesson technically went on as per usual as Zentreya would let the students train against the robots, however before the lesson can end, Enma came up with something. 

Enma: "Attention everyone, I wanted to test something from one of you today to see how far you all have grown into improvements through this year. Lukas Misaki, step forward."

Lukas had no choice but to step forward as he was relatively nervous, but he did his best to remain calm as he walked to the centre. Other students were confused as this was an unexpected kind of event. 

Lukas: "Y-Yes Enma-Sensei..?"

Enma: "I have been told that you are the Omni Magician by Yagoo. Apparently you have come a bit far when it came to your power, however I want to see it for myself before this ends. We will be fighting in the centre of this room while the students can stand a fair distance away and they can spectate."

Lukas: "Okay... I understand Enma-Sensei..."

The students had mixed reactions since they never really properly seen Lukas fight much. The last time they properly watched him fight was when he lost control at the cancelled event. Yet some had mixed reactions of worry, fear and some were anticipating to see what will happen. Lukas stood at the centre as he breathed in slowly, then released a light exhale as he got into position. Enma had her sheathed blade at the ready as she kept the blade in the sheath. 

Enma: "I want you to come at me with what you got."

Lukas didn't know what to say really as he focused on her presence. He could feel a sense of tranquillity and calmness to it. Her tone may have said a little differently, but she is definitely someone with experience. Lukas started off with using his Wind Magic to propel himself forward, going in for a kick, but Enma blocked it effortlessly with her sheathed sword. Which she then used the momentum to drag him to the ground as he landed on his back. 

Enma: "Too slow."

Enma then went for a downward strike as Lukas managed to roll out of the way, but as he recovered, he noticed that her weapon left a small crater on the ground, making him question on how strong she is really.

Enma: "Charging into a head on fight isn't the wisest of moves Misaki. Try again."

Enma was being patient, yet he could see her narrow her eyes as she was waiting for Lukas to make a move. Lukas tried to focus on how she was able to do that, but he then charged in again, igniting flames around his legs as he went in for an onslaught of kicks. Though Enma was able to block most of the attacks with ease, without even needing to step back even once, showing her precision and skill. Yet when Lukas was open, Enma took the chance to hit him in the stomach, sending him back a bit as he recovered, but felt his stomach was in pain, making him fall to one knee.

Lukas looked up at Enma, somehow getting irritated as he gritted his teeth, activating his Mana Barrier as he managed to stand back up. The students were watching on, trying to understand the situation, but the one who spoke up was Amelia Watson.

Amelia: "It would appear that something is clouding his mind right now..."

Ina: "Wait.... Doesn't that mean...?"

Amelia: "He constantly told you that he had a lot on his mind as of late, which might be clouding his judgement around himself. He is making more irrational actions instead of his calculated ones. This isn't like him at all..."

Zaion then sighs.

Zaion: "Should've suspected as such... He kept being distant after coming back for the Second Semester, yet he may be my rival, he still is acting irrational about this."

Dropscythe: "That bastard... Why won't he just open up..?"

Veibae: "I don't think it's that simple."

Everyone turned to Veibae as she began explaining.

Veibae: "You see, he has been improving and socializing better through the months. Yet it doesn't mean you can get rid of the past trauma that exists within you. Whatever it is that's clouding his judgements, I believe it would be somewhat tied to his past."

Everyone there was trying to keep those words in mind as most of them didn't really know Lukas that much, except for a select few. They all continued to watch the fight as Lukas was becoming more aggressive as he fought, it was a form of built up anger and confusion as he couldn't control himself right now. Whether it be from Kage's influence, he would never know as he kept at it with his aggression.

Each kick was covered in his Fire Magic as he then coats himself in Lightning Magic to await for the perfect moment. Enma was keeping up her defence until she attempted a parry, which Lukas took advantage of by attempting a gut punch. However she predicted this and side stepped out of the way and landing a chop to his neck which sent him to the ground as he struggled to get back up.

Enma: "You are letting your guard down too much. Your attacks are sloppy, yet well co-ordinated. You are not thinking straight as it is clouding your judgement. I advise you to push that aside and focus."

Lukas managed to get back up, gritting his teeth as he tried to turn around, only for him to see Enma right in front of him, attempting a slash as he shifted into flames to dodge out of the way. Yet he realized something, she was right. All this irritation and aggressiveness he is displaying is due to his own selfish reasons, but he couldn't help it. So he back off a bit, as he sighed to let out a bit of air.

Lukas: "You're right Enma-Sensei. A lot has been on my mind... However, it doesn't mean that I won't be focusing on the fight."

Enma: "Then prove it."

Lukas relaxed himself, getting into position as he took his signature pose for his new Phoenix Style. His shoulders relaxed as he was standing up straight, his left arm folded behind his back while his right arm is forward, aiming slightly upward as he was ready. This posture he took wasn't perfected yet as this is to leave himself open, but allowing him to counter balance whatever his enemy might do. Everyone else was confused as they saw Lukas take on a different pose, yet he didn't make the first move as he stood still, awaiting for Enma to strike first.

It was silent between the two as Lukas kept his eyes on Enma, yet she was doing the same, analysing him as she then charged forward. However as she went for a slash, he shifted to dodge the strike as she attempts an elbow to her head. Yet she ducked underneath, spinning around to attempt another attack but he shifted above her and landed behind her as he went down to sweep her legs. Yet Enma saw this coming as she hopped over as she attempts to kick him in the face. Yet Lukas shifted back up straight, dodging the attack as he went in for another attack, this time switching it up as he attacked with his left arm.

As he went in for a punch, she side stepped, but she didn't expect him to throw a right punch to her gut, making this the first hit he has landed on Enma so far as she took a few steps back, though it didn't feel painful at all as he wasn't using any Magic for that attack. This made her come to the conclusion that he is attempting something new and he isn't used to it yet. 

Calli while watching this is rather impressed. She could tell that he was using a somewhat similar method to what he used against her back in the Mid-Year Exam as she could tell what was going on.

Calliope: "It would appear that he has improved."

Kiara blinked a few times, confused on what she means.

Kiara: "What do you mean Calli?"

Calliope: "You see Kusotori, he had managed to take on a new style of fighting. He would call it the Phoenix Style, which he took as inspiration from you. He however hasn't managed to master this new technique he developed as he seems to be too focused on the fight. Yet he hasn't trained in a while into perfecting it and making it his own new technique."

Kiara: "Oh~! That's so cool! He took inspiration from me?"

Calliope: "Yes. He managed to discover a way to use Fire Magic in a similar method to you using your Fire Magic, but on a more lesser scale."

Kiara was honestly surprised as she wasn't expecting someone else to be able to pull something off in the similar method to how she technically does it, after all, she is one of the only Phoenixes around from what she knows anyways. Zaion overheard this as she smiles lightly, knowing that her rival is improving and yet she needs to focus on improving her own situations as well.

Everyone else didn't really pay attention to what Calli said as everyone was watching the fight unfold. It seemed to be somewhat even as Lukas was being able to keep up with Enma for a little while, utilizing his three main Magics in tandem with one another. Using his Fire Magic to shift around, allowing him to dodge her attacks as he was getting better and better with it. Using his Lightning Magic to paralyze her as soon as he could so he could get openings, however she somehow was always able to break free from it early to dodge whatever he attempts. And using his Wind Magic to move himself around from time to time, allowing him to be light on his feet and use it to propel his kicks to make him hit harder. 

Over all, his Phoenix Style seemed to be working for a time, however he came at a limit as he could feel himself getting hurt in the process as when he managed to get back a bit, he started coughing a little as he noticed a bit of blood on his sleeve.

Lukas: "Damn..."

Enma: "I'm impressed Misaki. Perhaps Yagoo wasn't wrong, however you still have a lot to learn."

As Lukas saw Enma take a step forward, she was somehow immediately in front of him with her sheathed blade right against his neck, just an inch short from hitting. Yet Lukas' Mana Barrier broke at the same time, confusing him as Enma glared at him.

Enma: "You have done enough for today. You've shown how far you have gotten. However, I expect you to take your training seriously you hear? I don't want another dead weight to carry the whole time."

Enma then backed off, leaving Lukas to get some breathing room as he relaxed himself. He was terrified by how fast Enma was, yet he could tell that even though her blade was still in the sheath, it still possibly could've cut his head clean off his body, making him sweat a little. His right hand instinctively rubbed against his throat, imagining it.

Lukas: "I understand... Enma-Sensei..."

Enma: "Good. Alright class, now what you have seen is the potential that someone who was below you all could achieve."

Enma spoke up, having a neutral tone as she was expressing her perspective about how strong Lukas has gotten from the beginning to now.

Enma: "He may be an Omni Magician, but he started off as a nobody and made his way to this level. If he could do it, I know you all can too. You all specialize in your own ways and handle things in your own manner. I expect you all to have improved by the end of this year along with the upcoming two years as well through your life. You're all dismissed."

Everyone hearing this, knew that they had to leave the class as the day was over. Lukas however walked up to Enma while watching the other students leave.

Lukas: "Enma-Sensei... I needed to know something..."

Enma: "What is it Misaki?"

Lukas: "What's been going on behind the scenes..? I know something's up."

Lukas was very determined to know, but Enma looked the other way.

Enma: "It is something that really doesn't concern you at the moment."

Lukas: "At the moment?"

Enma: "There's a possibility that you may be needed down the line, but for now, I expect you to pay attention to your work until you are needed. Now get going."

Lukas: "R-Right... Understood Enma-Sensei..."

Lukas then left, though that left more questions than answers in his head. For the fight, he was able to clear his head, but now afterwards and learning a bit more about what's going on behind the scenes, he couldn't stand it. Why was he being kept in the dark? He didn't understand, but apparently he might be needed down the line, for what? He couldn't find the answers to his questions as he has no choice but to just stay in the Academy and deal with the things by himself for now. Even though this was going to make him more stressed out, he couldn't help but understand why he might be being kept in the dark, yet he can't confirm it just yet....
