Although the next day went rather smoothly in the morning, Lukas was currently in his homeroom class during History lesson. Lukas was doing his best to keep track of all the notes he has written down, though as the lesson progressed, it eventually went to a particular subject that Lukas never thought he would ever hear about.

Vox: "Alright class, even though Kukyona Sonzai isn't here with us at the moment, it doesn't change this topic. How many of you are aware of the Kukyona family bloodline?"

About more than half of the students in the class ended up raising their hands while some of them didn't. Lukas was part of the didn't group as he never knew much about Zai's family to begin with as he never really shared with him at all about his past. Yet it did leave him curious on what it was about.

Vox: "For those of you that don't know, the Kukyona family dates all the way back to the times before the Supernatural had first contact with Humanity. For you see, there was an Era where Humanity and the Supernatural never knew the other existed, yet if they did, it was far and few in between. We would like to call that Era, the Pre-Discovery Era. As much as the name isn't creative, it implies that the Supernatural was always distant from Humanity, trying to live far off of Human civilizations. Yet as Humanity continued to expand and improve, they were the first that came into contact between the two. How does this all fall into place you may ask? The Kukyona family is well known during that time as a legendary family that dabbles in a style that made them prominent warriors of the Supernatural. It is said that they always valued their offspring as after each generation, their potential forever expands. The ones from way back then compared to now is completely weaker than the Kukyona you know today. So it is theorized as not much information has been leaked about it, others believed that each offspring becomes stronger than their parents. This was to ensure that the family bloodline remains strong and dominant. Not much is well known of what they used to do after the Pre-Discovery Era, but it is said that they forever trained to become the strongest around."

This was a lot to take in for Lukas as he did remember Zai once told him that he was the strongest around. He didn't know if he would've fully believed it at the time, but hearing what Akuma-Sensei said about it, he couldn't help but find it more believable, but then again, Lukas feels like there is some sort of missing link when it came to how the bloodline worked. Yet the lesson still went on, mainly discussing about many theories about the Kukyona bloodline. Yet the most plausible ones was spreading rumours on how the first Kukyona was connected to the First Omni Magician, which was rather strange but Lukas never thought about it much. 

Soon enough, the rest of the day didn't really seem eventful as the day was mediocre at best. Lukas spent his time most of the day taking notes and he wasn't really in the mood to talk to his friends today as he wanted to focus a bit and he had a lot on his mind that he wanted to deal with first. His friends respected that and gave him some space, which led him to where he was doing now.

He was currently within the Academy Library looking through a lot of books. Why? Mainly because he has to write an essay about the Pre-Discovery Era and the Humanity Supernatural War that took place shortly after. He was writing bits and pieces so that he could at least link them all together and then formulate how he wanted to write this essay. Though the more he thought about it, the more it made sense over time.

The Pre-Discovery Era was mainly an Era that is considered the time before the Supernatural made contact with Humanity, yet in truth, it was Humanity that made contact with the Supernatural first. How it mainly started was because Humans were very curious individuals who wanted to explore uncharted territories, leading them to discover certain boundaries between the Supernatural world and the world that Humanity knew. Things didn't start off smoothly due to the greed that Humanity had. They wanted the resources that the Supernatural had so they could enhance their civilizations. After all, it has been like that for most of Humanity's history from what Lukas could remember through his time studying History back in High School. 

As time went by, it eventually reached a boiling point where both sides have had enough as the Supernatural weren't just starting the war to protect their resources and people, but to have control over Humanity's resources as well. Humanity retaliated with their own firepower, even though it just wasn't enough as the Supernatural was simply too much for them. However as time went on, Humanity managed to develop their own form of Magic, creating different forms of Magic that the Supernatural never thought was possible. Humanity managed to reach a breakthrough that the Supernatural couldn't, creating things like Exorcists to combat against the Supernatural that are of the Underworld descents, or like the Jujutsu Sorceries which focuses on not only the Power of the Mana, but also the balance of the Soul to create an equilibrium to face against heavy threats. 

All because of Humanity's breakthrough in enhancing Magic in a different direction, the two sides managed to reach a stalemate as it went on for about two centuries of endless conflict. However, the War mainly came to an end when the First Omni Magician came to be as she was the one who managed to end the conflict and unify both sides into a peaceful union. Though as far as the history texts say, when the First Omni Magician vanished out of thin air, the unity between the two slowly crumbled over time as more Omni Magicians came to be. Yet the Omni Magicians either mostly fought for Humanity or the Supernatural, never both in the similar fashion to how the First did it. This caused the world to form over time into a state where the Supernatural began to figure out new ways to live instead of properly amongst Humanity, which led Humanity to figure out ways to regulate the Supernatural without causing any harm. Over time, as the Supernatural began to isolate themselves from Humanity's gaze, Humanity began to forget about them. 

So with the current century, the ones who make sure that this remains as so to keep everything in balance is the three Co-Founders who regulate the Supernatural as well as keep Humanity safe as Humanity may have the chance to reintegrate again, but due to lack of prior knowledge as the years went by, Humanity would be more furious and more war hungry due to their being a threat. Yet it does beg to differ on Lukas' end, what role does he have to play in all of this? Does he have to pick a side to fight for? Or can he fight for both in a way that the First did it? It is rather conflicting for Lukas as he doesn't understand how he is supposed to think about something like this when he has a lot of weight on his shoulders.

Yet while his brain was brainstorming, someone appeared into the library, yet she noticed him mumbling to himself with all the information. Somehow she was able to tell that this was the case of overthinking and information overload. So she walked up to him, standing behind him as she had a soft smile on her face.

???: "Excuse me?"

Lukas snapped out of his stupor in an instant as he felt like he almost had a heart attack. Though he manged to calm down, turning around to see who was trying to talk to him. From what he could see, she seemed to be a scholar type as she had a beret on her head. Her eyes were a strange greenish-blue while her hair was a greyish-silver.

???: "I do apologize for my interruption. I didn't mean to scare you like that."

Lukas: "N-No worries... I was just lost in thought..."

She still had a smile on her face as she noticed the drawings and writings he had done on multiple pieces of paper. 

???: "Well then, it's strange meeting someone studying this late at this hour."

Lukas: "Oh uh... It's getting close to sunset isn't it..?"

???: "Yep. Though I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Aia Amare, Second Year at this Academy."

Lukas: "A pleasure to meet you Aia... I'm Lukas, Lukas Misaki..."

Aia: "Oh? You the Omni Magician of Class 1A?"

Lukas: "Y-Yes..."

Aia: "It's a pleasure to finally meet you then. I wasn't expecting to really meet one in the flesh, but hey, it's genuinely exciting."

Aia then took a seat next to Lukas as she seemed really interested in what Lukas was doing.

Aia: "So, what you studying right now?"

Lukas: "I'm currently studying for my essay that I have to hand in to Akuma-Sensei..."

Aia: "I see, so what's it about?"

Lukas: "Mainly about the Pre-Discovery Era and the Humanity Supernatural War..."

Aia nodded her head, understanding what he is currently researching on.

Aia: "I get it now~ Though with this amount of notes, I think you're about done now aren't you?"

Lukas: "Well no... There's one thing I'm trying to connect the dots on..."

Aia: "Oh? What might that be?"

Lukas: "Well, it's about the Kukyona family and how it could be connected to the First Omni Magician and what role they may have played throughout the years. During the Pre-Discovery Era and the Humanity Supernatural War..."

Aia: "Hmm~"

Aia was thinking really carefully on what Lukas was trying to look up, yet she knew exactly what it was mainly about.

Aia: "You know, I'm glad I am not the only one curious about that."

Lukas: "What..?"

Aia: "You see, I'm an Angel who was sent down to learn from the Mortal world. As I've researched on the topic of the Humanity Supernatural War, I've discovered some things that were rather fascinating to say the least. It was of course something to do with the Kukyona family."

Lukas wanted to say something, but he kept quiet, making him note to himself that he would need to learn as much as he could since he studied a bit more on what being an Omni Magician could imply.

Aia: "You see, the Kukyona family are prominent to train their offspring because they always had high expectations for them to surpass them. Because every Kukyona youngling has amazing potential that could surpass many and it is rare to find weak members of the Kukyona family. However due to this altruistic perspective, it can cause damage to others around them and including the inside fabrications of the family tree itself. Although the First Kukyona was great friends with the First Omni Magician, what split them apart wasn't because of their differences. It was because of the First Kukyona's jealousy. He was afraid of the First Omni Magician's power and when he had learnt how powerful she truly was, all he ever wanted was to create a family that could rival the Omni Magicians. Hence to why the Kukyona family is so powerful, yet I know what you might think. You think that is a poor excuse, but there is another reason behind it. The family has always valued power above all else."

Lukas: "I see... Doesn't that mean... that Zai is...?"

Aia: "Zai is part of the family bloodline. However his story is rather... complicated. It is mostly kept under wraps as to not stir any trouble amongst the Supernatural as only the higher officials mainly know of it. However in truth, Sonzai is the only member of his family left. He is the last Kukyona around right now..."

Lukas: "What..?"

Aia: "I don't know the details necessarily, but whatever happened might've been traumatic for him, so I advise against ever asking him about his family alright?"

Lukas: "I understand..."

Aia: "Good, though does the rest of what I told you help?"

Lukas: "It does... Thank you Aia..."

Aia: "No problem, now I think you should get going, there's some things I want to do before I leave."

Lukas: "R-Right... of course."

Lukas then quickly got ready to leave with all the notes and information he had acquired. One thing's for certain though, there is more to this than what the texts or what the told history states. Yet the more he learns about the history and the more he learns about how the world truly is, the more he realizes how much weight will be put on his shoulders when the time arises. He is understandably nervous about the whole ordeal, though if he has to be ready for things like that, he knows that he must....
