Atlas City, a city located within the United States as it was one of the most advanced cities to exist in America. This city is similar to terms of like XSOLEIL, but this city is mainly ran by the Atlas Corporation. However, within the airport, you could see the students of 1A alongside Vox Akuma get off the plane as they made their way through the airport.

Everyone was wearing casual wear that they would usually prefer as they were walking through the city streets, blending in with some of them needing to use Glamour to keep themselves safe. Akuma-Sensei was leading the way as they were heading to a particular hotel, however there was one individual out of the 21 students that isn't too thrilled about this. That being Lukas Misaki. He was preferring to wear his hood on the whole time, preventing his visuals from being shown to the rest of the world.

The one person who picked up on this was Ina.

Ina: "Hey Lukas. You okay?"

Lukas: "Y-Yeah... I'm fine..."

Ina: "I can tell you aren't."

Lukas remained quiet as he didn't want to talk about something, but Ina sighed as she figured there isn't any point in getting him to talk. So she went ahead as Lukas was at the back of the group, yet it still made Doppio Dropscythe turn his head a bit to notice this. So when Ina walked besides him, Doppio had to ask.

Dropscythe: "What's with him?"

Ina: "I don't know. I can't really get him to talk as he had been like this ever since we started our trip."

Dropscythe: "There is definitely something wrong with him and we'll figure it out sooner or later. This is supposed to be a vacation, not a depression spa."

Ina: "I get it Dropscythe, but we can't force it out of him unless we figure it out."

Zaion: "Mind if I join in?"

Zaion, who simply was listening to them both the whole time. She had her arms crossed while also wearing her hood over her head.

Ina: "You too?"

Zaion: "What? Do you honestly think I would let my rival just be in a bad mood so I end up in a bad mood too? Not very motivational and it wouldn't make the challenge as exciting."

Ina: "I guess you make a point..."

Dropscythe: "So when we see Lukas roam about on his own, we tail him?"

Zaion: "That could work. Though we are only here for a few days, who knows what he would be doing in that time."

Ina: "I think we should just let him be for now. Chasing him around would be similar to stalking."

Zaion: "Trust me, tailing someone is different to stalking."

The three were discussing on how they could figure out what Lukas is hiding from them for mainly different reasons. Ina's reason is because she was technically worried for Lukas as he is one of her friends. Doppio's reason is because he still felt bad for what he did months ago as he was still trying to make up for his bad behaviour towards Lukas. Zaion's reason is because technically, she does care but she isn't one to admit, while she also doesn't want a weak rival at the same time. The three may've had different reasons, it doesn't mean that the three wouldn't work together to plan a scheme.

Eventually Akuma-Sensei led all the students to a particular beachside establishment that they would be staying in. It looked kind of similar to that of a mansion, but for the beach. The other students looked around in amazement as Akuma-Sensei began to explain to them.

Vox: "Before any of you begin to ask me questions, I'll explain the living situation. This place was a particular spot that I rented for the time being as we will be staying until next week. The left side will be where the female students stay, while the right side will be where the male students stay. You all may enjoy yourselves as much as you can, while being yourselves, but don't forget that you are in a society where the Supernatural isn't common or known as of yet. This city also has its own protection against the Supernatural as the Atlas Corporation is very much aware of it. This partnership is with the SSF, so I advise you not to get on their bad side for the time being. I'll see you all at dinner, good luck!"

Akuma-Sensei then allowed the students to move into the place, which all of them were glad about as they could at least have their own living space while also being able to communicate with each other. On the left side was about sixteen students as majority of the class were females anyways, making the right side only have five students. It is seen as a strange thing for such a big gap in a class, but these students didn't really care as they were settling in very easily. The possibilities were endless for the students as they planned out their individual days, yet Lukas didn't partake in any of these activities and planning because he wasn't feeling it, or that is what he told the others anyways.

So he was sitting in his room, feeling like he didn't want to be here at all, yet the ring on his finger began to swirl and form Veladora as she figured she could possibly talk to him to get through to him.

Veladora: "Heya~!"

Lukas: "Vela...? What do you want?"

Veladora: "Is it wrong to check up on you?"

Lukas: "No..."

Veladora: "Then come on~ Tell me what's the issue."

Lukas: "I just.... I didn't want to come back here..."

Veladora tilted her head in curiosity as this was brand new information for her. She now wanted to pry into his background a bit.

Veladora: "Why don't you want to? This city is rather advanced and relaxing to a degree. Plus the bonus is that you could be with your friends!"

Lukas: "That isn't it..."

Veladora: "Then what is it?"

Lukas: "IT'S BECAUSE MY FAMILY LIVES HERE!"

Lukas suddenly snapped at Veladora, which caught her off guard as she wasn't expecting Lukas to do something like this. Lukas realized what he did, forcing himself to calm down after doing what he did.

Lukas: "I'm sorry Vela... I just don't want to be seen anywhere near my own family!"

Veladora: "What did they do that makes you hate them?"

Lukas: "I... I don't hate them necessarily... I just... can't be anywhere near them or around them. Just stop prying in and just leave me be alright!? I need time to myself!"

Veladora: "Okay okay! I get it. Why don't you take a walk then? It could help clear your mind a bit, even if you don't want to be here..."

Lukas was a bit on edge as he just rubbed his eyes, sighing as he nod in confirmation.

Lukas: "That might help... Sorry for yelling..."

Lukas and Veladora didn't share anymore words as Veladora understood the situation, immediately turning back into the ring on his finger. Lukas then began to exit his room, only for Zai to appear in front of him.

Sonzai: "Hey Lukas. Is something the matter?"

Zai sounded a little concerned as Lukas was forcing himself to smile lightly.

Lukas: "No not really... Why?"

Sonzai: "Well, some of us heard you yelling, even though we couldn't make out the exact words, I just wanted to check up on ya. So you good?"

Lukas: "Yeah... I think so."

Lukas then began to walk past Zai as Zai could definitely tell something was off about him.

Sonzai: "Oh yeah Lukas. We were planning on heading to the mall to explore what this city has to offer. You want to join?"

Lukas stopped for a moment, turning to Zai as he answered with a weak fake smile.

Lukas: "I think I'm fine... I just need some fresh air. I'll chat again later..."

Lukas then began to walk away, leaving Zai still confused on what was going on within Lukas' head. Lukas left early with the permission of Akuma-Sensei as he began his walk of solitude, trying to empty his head while having a lonely walk. The city understandably was huge as he was walking around the areas he recognized solemnly. He eventually reached a park that seemed to be quite occupied as he sat on one of the benches, watching the children enjoy themselves with their families.

He had a weak smiled plastered to his face, a sad one to be precise as he started to remember a certain memory fly by his head.

[Flashback]

You could see the young Lukas Misaki, very young as he was playing around with his sister. His sister looked somewhat different to him due to the skin tone comparison. Her skin being tanned white in comparison to his milky white. Her eyes being a silver colour while his was a vibrant purple. Her hair was a light blue while his was black. The two were playing around with each other, playing tag more or less. Even though they were three years apart, he did his best to be the big brother.

The sister was enjoying herself as she hopped up and down in victory.

???: "Yay! I won! I won!"

Lukas chuckled at his younger sister, enjoying her energetic style instead of his usual bland and boring personality.

Lukas: "You know Angelica, why don't you go out and make friends?"

The sister, now known as Angelica looked up at her older brother, forming a pout on her face.

Angelica: "Do I really have to~?"

Lukas then rubbed Angelica's hair as he kept up a light smile.

Lukas: "You know, you aren't like me anyways sis. You are brighter than me in most aspects. The moment I got into high school, our parents see you as more valuable than me. That says a lot don't you think?"

Angelica: "But big bro, why can't I be just like you? You're intelligent and diligent!"

Lukas: "Learning such big words so early in your life sis? That shows a lot. Trust me, we all have our own paths to take and even though I try to earn my parents affection, it might never be. Sister, you need to forge your own path in life."

Angelica: "You really mean it~?"

Lukas: "I do Angelica. I really do."

The two then went into a hug as they both heard a voice coming from behind them.

???: "Hey Lukas! Angelica! We're heading home~!"

Lukas: "Coming Mom! We should get going alright?"

Angelica: "Okay~"

She said this with a large grin on her face, one that was filled with glee. Lukas couldn't help but rub her hair as they made their way to their mother who was waiting for them.

[Flashback End]

Lukas then sighed, rubbing his eyes as these memories may have been good ones, but the ending of his past always hurt him the most over the happy ones. He then heard a sigh right next to him as he saw someone he recognized sit right next to him. It was Enna Alouette.

Lukas: "Enna...?"

Enna: "Oh, hey Lukas."

Lukas: "What are you doing here...?"

Enna: "I got lost."

Enna sighed in aggravation as she didn't know where to go.

Lukas: "Were you with the others..?"

Enna: "Well I was. But Babu and Kyo decided to go somewhere ahead of me when I was searching a nearby store!"

Lukas: "Babu?"

Enna: "Millie."

Lukas: "Oh... I see... Well, where were you headed..?"

Enna: "The mall."

Lukas: "Well, I think I can help you... Though I haven't been a-around here in a while..."

Lukas wasn't necessarily lying as he hasn't been in this park in a long time, but the last time he was in Atlas City was at the beginning of the year.

Enna: "That would be appreciated thank you Lukas."

Lukas: "S-Sure thing... Follow me."

Enna did notice before, but within Lukas' eyes, she could see a form of pain and suffering, but since she is a bit blunt, she would've asked about it right away. Yet she decided against it as she didn't know Lukas personally besides him being the Omni Magician and things like that. So Lukas walked around with Enna close behind, guiding her and showing her around until they reached the mall in a few minutes. 

The two were standing in front of the mall entrance as Enna bowed politely.

Enna: "Thank you for guiding me all the way here. I would've probably taken hours to find this place."

Lukas: "N-No worries Enna..."

Enna: "Do you want to join with the others as well? We're planning to enjoy the beach tomorrow since the sun will be out."

Lukas: "I'm... not sure...."

Lukas was not completely comfortable with the idea of relaxing by the beach with the rest of the class, but Enna insisted.

Enna: "You did help me out, so it is the least I can do. It'll be fun I promise! Besides, most of the class doesn't know you personally!"

Lukas: "O-Okay then.... I'll go shop with y-you all now.... Though I'm still unsure about the b-beach part...."

Enna: "Okay!"

Enna then started dragging Lukas along, which Lukas couldn't resist as she felt way too strong for him to do anything. So he was forced into shopping with the rest of the class for the rest of the day.....
