Once Lukas woke up, he was on the couch, feeling a little groggy. He could tell that it was morning, which makes him wonder how long he was out for. As he sat up, he noticed Sonzai walking up to him, bringing him something warm to drink.

Sonzai: "Glad to see you're finally awake. How are you feeling?"

Sonzai put the drink on the table in front of him, making him feel rather strange in the moment, but he composed himself, giving a bit of a weak smile.

Lukas: "I think I'm feeling a bit better... Thank you Zai.."

He then grabbed the cup, seeing that it was more of a dark coffee. He then took a sip while Sonzai was waiting for a response. Soon afterwards, Lukas put the cup down, sticking his tongue out finding it too bitter for his tastes.

Sonzai: "Too bitter?"

Lukas simply nods as he just shrugs it off and sat next to him.

Sonzai: "So, care to explain what happened yesterday? You were passed out while being carried by a pretty young lady."

Lukas was trying to remember what exactly happened, but his eyes widened as he felt the heat rush up his face. He started to remember that at first he was being attacked by some of those hooded masked figures, then the next he was saved by a hot girl who is apparently in an arranged marriage between them, even confessing it out loud in the moment. Sonzai was catching onto something, but he wasn't fully sure what.

Sonzai: "Did something happen between you and her?"

He was teasing Lukas as he immediately reacted by raising his hands to his face, trying to prevent Sonzai from getting closer.

Lukas: "N-No! I wasn't do a-anything at all as I was attacked yesterday and she saved me!"

Sonzai: "You were attacked and saved? Care to explain the details?"

Sonzai was getting a little worried as something was really off about it. Lukas managed to calm down eventually as he was repeating a simple process to calm himself down. He breathed in and out slowly, until he could feel his muscles not being as tense, relaxing himself.

Lukas: "In truth... You weren't here when I arrived to the house, though you didn't answer at the time.. So I had no choice but to keep myself occupied until you returned. I went to the arcade for a bit of time, helping me empty my mind for the moment at least, but when I was on my way here.. I got ambushed by some people wearing black cloaks, their hoods covering and obscuring their faces as they were also wearing masks.... Though what was terrifying about them was that the masks had smiles on them..."

Sonzai started to become worried as things aren't going so well. It seemed like as if Sonzai knew something, but kept it to himself so he could hear Lukas's full story.

Lukas: "I tried to defend myself, but due to my injuries as you can see..."

He then gestured to his bandaged body as he honestly still felt relatively weak at the moment, making sure to not make any sudden movements to hurt himself.

Lukas: "I wasn't able to hold them off. I did use a bit of Magic to hold them off, but it just wasn't good enough as my body felt too weak to do much... But in the end, Kson saved me as she dealt with them with relative ease... She helped me, and it turns out that she knew me due to connections between our families... But then... She suddenly confessed something to me that I couldn't think clearly on at the moment.... I feel really stupid now.."

Sonzai: "What is it that she said?"

Lukas: "She... She is apparently my fiancé..."

Sonzai was honestly not expecting that, yet he couldn't help himself but laugh at this as Lukas was completely confused on why he was laughing.

Lukas: "W-Why are you l-laughing...?"

Sonzai: "I'm sorry! I can't help it! You, getting a fiancé!?"

He was still laughing, but the moment he noticed Lukas's sudden fear, though he couldn't pinpoint its origin, he stopped. He wiped a tear out of his eye as he realized how serious this was.

Sonzai: "Sorry about that... You're serious about this aren't you?"

Lukas nodded slowly as he didn't know what to feel in this moment. Fear? Awkward? Embarrassed? It is completely confusing for him as he was trying to wrap his head around it. Usually, it is a huge responsibility to have someone who is going to be by your side for the rest of your life supposedly, but the more he thought about it, was he even ready for a responsibility like that?

Sonzai: "Look, I don't know your family, but consider this an opportunity. Besides, I don't see you getting any girls any time soon~"

Lukas snapped out of his stupor as he was completely red faced as he retaliated.

Lukas: "Zai!"

Sonzai: "What? You know I'm right."

Lukas then calmed down again, sighing as he rubbed his eyes a bit.

Sonzai: "Look, I believe she is visiting today, so things might turn out better as soon as she comes on by again. What's her name again?"

Lukas: "Kson."

Sonzai: "Right... So-"

Before he could speak any further, he heard a knock on the front door, getting up and showing a gesture that Lukas should stay on the couch since Lukas hasn't fully recovered his injuries yet. So as Sonzai went to the front door, Lukas had the short timespan to think about his predicament.

He is badly injured, unsure on what his darkness is still as he had failed recently to keep it in check. He was even apparently being married to someone he doesn't know who is slightly older than him, without there being any proper explanations. But soon enough, Sonzai entered the living room space with someone Lukas recognized in an instant.

Lukas: "K-Kson..?"

Kson: "Hey there Lukas. How you feeling after being out cold?"

Lukas: "A b-bit better now... What happened y-yesterday when I p-passed out?"

Kson: "I simply carried you here."

Lukas: "I... I'm sorry."

Kson: "Don't be. After all, we're going to be husband and wife sometime in the future right?"

Lukas blushed profusely when he heard that, though Sonzai was actually surprised that it was completely true. He wasn't really expecting him to be actually betrothed to a beauty like her.

Sonzai: "Okay, I just want to make this clear... Today may be my day off, but I don't have much time before I return back to Hell that is classes. So, Lukas... I want to train you into using your current Magic proficiently, I know you have been improving it in your Combat Classes and the Magic Classes, but I think you need a training partner, a proper one to improve your scrawny physique along with your Magic. So you up for it, Lukas Misaki?"

Sonzai was getting straight to the point, but Lukas sighed, not sure on what to do in that moment. But he made up his mind, standing up from the couch, though his body felt relatively weak still.

Lukas: "Zai... Before I decide on that... I need to know from Kson on how she knows me and my family."

Sonzai was surprised by Lukas's sudden and serious tone. Lukas had never been so serious so far, but today it was completely different. Kson simply still kept up her smile.

Kson: "Sure thing. For you see, my father and your father were business venture types. They met when they used to live in Japan at the time and when your father left Japan, he made a promise that his eldest would be married off to my father's eldest. Yet I may be the eldest and the only child from my father's side, you are the eldest and only person I know. So I got information from what remained from my father's side and decided to track you down. And when I went to visit your family a month ago, you weren't there. So I figured that I would try to find you since they didn't mention where you went and when I found you, I knew it was you. Consider it my instincts I suppose, that's it. That's how I got here and how I found you."

Lukas: "I... I see... This is a lot to take in and process... But, since we are by law fiancés, mind if we get to know each other first through these three years of the Academy semesters before I give my final thoughts...?"

Sonzai: "I don't really think it needs to be that long to-"

Kson: "I accept those conditions."

Sonzai was now completely just bewildered that the two just agreed to this. He blinked a few times in confusion.

Lukas: "And Zai, I accept your offer on the training."

Sonzai then finally smiled, knowing that things are going to go his way in this equation.

Sonzai: "Good."

And so, for the rest of this whole month of February, Sonzai would begin to train Lukas on how to utilize his Wind Magic....
