Veibae, Ina and Zaion were walking through the halls of the Academy with it being the end of the school day. They were listening to most of the class discussing about what had transpired today and some were disappointed that they couldn't fight because of what happened. The three took it upon themselves to head to the Nurse's office, but along the way the three were talking about what transpired today.

Zaion: "Well you two better start explaining what you both saw. I know for a fact that you both know something more than I do."

Ina: "In truth, the Lukas that defeated Doppio and fought Zai wasn't the Lukas we completely know."

Zaion: "And that is supposed to mean?"

Veibae: "He had his own demons to fight within himself, though I can tell he had it for a long time, like he was suppressing it himself."

Zaion: "So he had his own struggles not only in real time but in his own damned head?"

Ina: "That is what we could theorize for now.."

Veibae: "Besides, we don't know much about Misaki per say, so it would be better for us to get more of a grasp on who he is or what he was as an individual."

Zaion: "Getting to know more about my rival? I see no harm in that."

Ina: "You made Lukas your rival..?"

Zaion: "Yeah. Is there a problem with me wanting a powerful rival? He is an Omni Magician, being one of the best so I want to compete against that to prove that he ain't so special. And I wanted to be the one to beat him, but Zai I can make an exception on.."

Veibae: "I appreciate your motivation but-"

Ina: "We're here."

They stopped their train of thoughts when they arrived in front of the Nurse's office. So Ina was the first one to step up and open the door, seeing their Nurse, Choco-Sensei.

Choco: "Ah Ina'nis. I didn't expect to see you here this late."

Ina: "There is no worries about it Choco-Sensei. But however we came in to check up on Lukas and Doppio. How they holding up?"

The three were in the room, with them all looking at the two who were resting. Lukas had life support systems being ran on him so they could keep track of his vitals, unsure on how serious his physical damage was. But Dropscythe was resting with bandages covering his top half of his body, showing that he was shirtless. 

Choco: "They are recovering at an amazing rate. Doppio will be in peak condition soon, but as for Lukas, I had him in here once, but his physical injuries isn't of main concern."

Ina: "That meaning?"

Choco: "There is a possibility that his mental state might have been what went wrong the most. I cannot heal a patient's mental state, so it is best for him to rest until he wakes up on his own. Has he been out cold since this morning?"

Zaion: "Yep. The fight did something to him so we are unsure on what it really is."

Doppio: "What are you guys talking about..?"

They all look to see Dropscythe sitting up straight, surprised to see him awake right now.

Veibae: "Hey Doppio, how long were you awake for?"

Doppio: "A few seconds ago when you all started talking about Misaki's mental state... The fuck is that all about..?"

Veibae: "Well I do have a theory on what might have happened. But I do not know if this is completely plausible."

Choco: "Well I am all ears Vei, after all you are to become a very powerful being in the future so your wisdom will benefit us dearly."

In truth, Veibae was commonly known as the Empress of the Sky, being a very powerful dragon deity. But she usually prefers to be herself instead of this powerful figure people awe about.

Veibae: "I understand. The fight between Doppio and Lukas might have caused some form of distortion in Lukas's brain, driving out something that was hidden inside him. I would call it his darkness for the time being, but however, he started to become like that after looking down at his own blood. So it might have been something traumatic at first, but when his hidden darkness took over, it was like as if something or someone else took over entirely. So it is unclear on what his history is or what he is for that matter. When he arrived here I could tell that he was human obviously, but when he displayed that darkness, he somehow wasn't really human anymore."

Dropscythe then realized in this moment that he had caused some problems for people. He looked down in a bit of shame, realizing his mistake. He knows that he can come off as a bit of an asshole, but he even has his limits and he felt like he broke them.

Doppio: "So I... made him remember such events..?"

Veibae: "That might be the case, but we are unsure until he wakes up again. Sensei, how long until he wakes up do you think?"

Choco: "He might wake up tomorrow, but Yamino told me that it would be best of it takes most of the time off, mainly most of this month. So he won't be attending the Academy until he feels more stable mentally."

Zaion looks a little more pissed off but in truth, she was actually worried that her rival will fall behind, but she doesn't really show this.

Doppio: "Where is Zai..?"

Ina: "Why do you need to know?"

Doppio: "Because he was the one close to Misaki the whole time when they arrive to the Academy every morning."

Zaion: "Well unfortunately for you, he went with Yamino-Sensei, Akuma-Sensei and Zentreya to talk to Yagoo. So he will most likely only be available later, possibly during the night. We do need information from him from what he knows, which is fair but probing it out of him won't be easy. So I will go with you to talk to Zai when you are able to."

Everyone reached a neutral understanding and decided to leave it at that. Veibae and Ina decide to head on home, also informing the rest of class 1A about this information. They did also inform them that they shouldn't talk about what happened to the rest of the Academy or to anyone else in Vtopia because it could spark some trouble, which most of them agreed luckily.

As for Zaion and Dropscythe, they waited outside the Academy and it was night time. Dropscythe did manage to get his clothes back on, covering up most of the bandages. They waited until they saw Zai walking out of the premises and they both approached him, catching him off guard.

Doppio: "Zai."

Sonzai: "Oh hey Doppy. Did you need something?"

Zaion: "Well yes, we need to talk about Misaki."

Sonzai: "Lukas?"

Doppio: "Yes."

Dropscythe had his arms crossed, having a serious expression matching his tone, Zaion had her hands in her pockets, not revealing how she feels in the matter.

Sonzai: "What do you need to know?"

Zaion: "You seemed to know much better than us, so we need to understand who Misaki is as a person. So start talking."

Zai just sighs, rubbing the back of his neck and then looking at the two, wondering if he should tell them or not, but he then shrugs it off.

Sonzai: "Fine. I will tell you from what I know. However, I doubt that it would be helpful to you two. To put it simply, he is not from around here that much is obvious. He is pretty much an introvert to the core though I don't fully know why and I don't want to pry it out. His potential is incredibly high for a weakling. He is quite distant from most since he has trust issues, that much I can tell. And every time I ask him about his family he just remains quiet and tries to change the topic. So he is quite secretive and so is Yagoo, making me think that there is more to this than Yagoo let on earlier when I had a nice... simple chat you could say."

Zai's one eye was twitching a little bit, showing off a little bit of frustration from what occurred earlier. Zaion and Dropscythe look at each other, nodding their heads and they look back at Zai.

Zaion: "Look, we thank you for sharing the information with us, however.. Doppio here has something to say."

Dropscythe: "I am sorry for my... harshness towards you Zai. I didn't trust you even if you were the most popular on this damned island. And I was jealous of Misaki, mainly because he was an Omni Magician. What I did was pretty much a low blow, making him remember something that drew out the hidden darkness within him. So on my behalf, is it possible for me to reconcile for my mistakes?"

Zai was looking at Dropscythe, surprised by his sudden change in personality.

Sonzai: "Well you already made up for it by just apologising, however I can tell for Lukas it would be much harder than that. But I need to get going now, since we have a day off tomorrow, I need to get things ready for Lukas when he gets back home. So if y'all excuse me?"

Zaion and Dropscythe got the idea and allowed him to go on his merry way, though Zaion couldn't help but think of a plan to figure out whatever is going on inside her rival's head...
