~Natsu's P.O.V.~

"LUUUUUUUCY!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I ran towards her falling body. I caught her just before she hit the ground. "Lucy, oi Lucy!" I yelled, tears starting to well up in my eyes. Blood was starting to stain her shirt, and I could tell it was starting to seep into my vest.

"Nat...su..." Lucy whispered. The light in her perfect hazel eyes were getting darker, as if the life was getting sucked out of her.

"Don't you dare close your eyes!" I cried at her. "Don't you dare!" Lucy slowly lifted her hand and caressed my cheek, brushing off the few tears that were starting to spill.

"Y-you know...I'm so glad..to have met you," Lucy smiled. The smile that always wanted me to smile as well.

"No, don't sound like that," I quivered. Her voice sounded as if she was saying goodbye. "I don't want you to die Lucy!" Lucy just weakly laughed in response, her voice cracking a bit.

"Do you remember...what you called me when I showed you..my mark?" she asked softly. I took ahold of her right hand, the one with her pink Fairy Tail mark on it. I gently squeezed it and smiled weakly.

"Yeah, how could I forget?" I answered softly. "I called you Luigi." Lucy smiled, but then started coughing blood.

"Lucy!" I called her name in worry. She looked at me with tears in her eyes, but yet she still had a warm smile on her lips.

"Hey...can I say something...?" She asked, her voice weak and tired, as if she was about to go to sleep. My eyes started to get glassy again, but I nodded.

"Anything," I replied.

"You promise...not to laugh..?" she asked. I nodded again, but tears started trickling down my face more as I could tell that she was fading. She slightly lifted her head up so that her face was closer to mine. My eyes widened as I realized what she was about to do. Her soft pink lips touched mine, and I could feel these mini sparks all throughout my body. It was as if fireworks were going out inside my body, and I liked it. I wanted more.

But, I knew that was going to happen.

As soon as our lips parted I could feel Lucy's body relax and her eyes slowly closed.

"Lucy?" I said her name, a huge pit starting to form in my stomach. "Lucy!" I said louder, but there was no answer. Tears were now uncontrollably flowing down my cheek and dripping onto her motionless body. "LUCYYYY!" I screamed into the air.

I cradled her lifeless close to my chest as her name echoed across the sky. "Hmph, so pathetic." My pupils shrunk. All of a sudden unwanted memories started coming back into my head. What had happened over these last few days, what he forced me to do, what I did to Lucy.. "But then again, all humans are." I could hear him land gently onto the battle-ridden gravel. "Someone as strong as you should not be grieving over someone as puny as her." I could feel my sadness turn into pure rage. I stood up and gently set Lucy down on the side of a house, away from harm. I then turned to him.

"You..." I growled, clenching my fists until you could see my veins.

"Hmm?" he raised an eyebrow. "Is there something wrong, son?"

"YOU BASTARD!" I yelled. I could feel anger run through my veins, giving me a newfound strength. "SHE HAD NOTHING TO DO THIS!"

"Oh but she did," he said. "She was taking me away from you, poisoning your mind."

"'Poisoning my mind'?! Don't give me that shit!" I spat. "Lucy was...she..." Tears starting forming at the corner of my eyes. "She never even got to say what she wanted to!" Fire enveloped my hand. "AND YOU'RE THE ONE TO BLAME FOR IT!" I lunged for him and was able to hit him right in the gut. He skidded a couple feet. He wiped his mouth from blood and sighed.

"I didn't want to have to do this, but since you stand in my way..." He looked up, his eyes glowing bright red. "Then I will have to kill you!"

"BRING IT!" I roared.
